2024-06-22 01:43:00You’ve got to try this place! Quick and friendly service and a big, delicious menu! We had the Mughals fish biryani, the chicken vindaloo, and a special yogurt and lentil appetizer they only have on weekends. Also a lychee dessert! We will be back to try all the things we didn’t get this time.

2024-05-05 19:18:29This is a lovely new restaurant, the staff was very lovely and kind. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had. Portion sizes are great. We had plenty for our meal and leftovers for the next day. I got takeout but the restaurant has beautiful natural light with windows open to a little greenery area that I would totally come back to sit next to. The pakora was very good. Really appreciated that each piece was decent size and tasty. We got medium spice which if youre between medium and mild Id suggest going mild because their med has a bit of a kick in a good way. Lovely flavors and would come back.

2024-05-03 03:56:36I recently had the pleasure of dining at Biryani & Chaat, located at 4800 Granite Dr B-11 in Rocklin, CA, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Alex and Gary, who are absolutely amazing managers and clearly passionate about their restaurant. The first thing that struck me was the authenticity of this South Indian gem. As someone who loves Tamil Nadu cuisine, I was thrilled to see such a wide array of delicious dishes on the menu. I started my culinary journey with the onion pakoras, and let me tell you, they were divine! Crisp, flavorful, and reminiscent of my moms homemade cooking, these pakoras melted in my mouth with each bite.To complement the appetizers, I tried the Badam-geer, an almond drink that took me straight to drink heaven! The chunks of real almond were a delightful surprise, adding a unique touch to this already heavenly beverage. For the main course, I indulged in the Paneer Kadai and 2 Bhature, and wow, what a treat it was! The kadai paneer was hands down the best Ive ever tasted, perfectly spiced and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The generous amount of ghee added a richness to the dish that elevated its flavors to another level. The crispy capsicum pieces were a delightful contrast, adding a burst of freshness to each bite. And the bhature? Fluffy, soft, and simply irresistible! To round off this culinary adventure, I savored some authentic filter coffee that transported me back to the days of my moms lovingly brewed coffee. The service throughout my meal was friendly and efficient, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. One of the best parts about Biryani & Chaat is that all this deliciousness comes at very reasonable prices, making it a true gem in the Rocklin community. I cannot recommend this place enough and am so glad to see such a fantastic addition to our culinary landscape. Biryani & Chaat has definitely won me over as a loyal customer, and I cant wait to return for another taste of their incredible dishes!

2024-05-05 04:52:58Sacramento has always been a bit short on good dum biryani, and weve often found ourself heading to the Bay Area for better options. Luckily, we recently discovered this new gem of a restaurant. Chicken dum biryani was truly fantastic and hit the spot perfectly. They also offered a buy one, get one free deal, so we tried the Mughlai biryani as well, which was also good but dum biryani was the star. The restaurant is only a week old and still expanding its menu, but what we tried was promising. We tried Tangadi kabab and it was tender and flavorful. Moreover, the prices are more reasonable than most nearby places. Its great to finally have a wonderful Indian restaurant in the Rocklin and Roseville area.

2024-06-29 11:30:18Wonderful flavors, generous portions, friendly service and a self-serve chai tea station! We sat along the window where you see a nice view of greenery and palms. I went with my mom and aunt about a week ago and we must have ordered at least four dishes. The butter chicken, biryani, and prawn dish were incredible and the panak paneer is always a great vegetarian dish and done very well. The garlic naan is great. We left very full and happy having hardly made a dent in our bowls. We will be coming back every time I visit!

2024-06-23 21:14:21The only thing that competes with their food is their kindness! The lady who took care of our table was amazing with several great recommendations! The food was next level and the best weve had yet! In other words... DO IT!!! :)

2024-05-26 05:21:59Today, my family and I dined at this restaurant, and I have mixed feelings about our experience. While the food and drinks were excellent, the service left much to be desired. The hostess at the front was particularly disrespectful and exhibited a rude and egotistical attitude. When we requested that the air conditioning be turned on due to the heat, she made excuses and did not comply, leaving the restaurant uncomfortably warm. Additionally, we were served our food without plates and had to repeatedly ask for attention to receive them. There was also an erroneous charge for an extra drink. Given these issues, I recommend that the restaurant consider employing a more courteous and professional staff member at the front. Despite the poor service, the food was outstanding.

2024-05-17 02:19:45Great new Indian restaurant in the area. We have visited twice so far, and each time it has been excellent. Our waitress Raj was very friendly and answered all of our questions. As the restaurant name suggests the Biryani is very good but they have a menu with curries and other dishes. The mutton or chicken dum Biryani is only served fri- sun, but we tried the Vijayawada chicken Biryani for the first time and really liked it. The chicken was more of a wet or curry style. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!
