2023-08-07 01:51:39Comfortable space with inviting service. We were waited on - this means that upon arrival we were in conversation and asked for another moment. The service, boomeranging back, was not too early and allowed our conversation to finish. The food was delicious. Appetizers and the salad dressing deserve highlighting. The noodle dishes were flavorful and moist, yet they were not saucy and oily.Next time I’m leaving space for dessert.

2023-12-05 01:55:18Dont be fooled by Mama, shes built a beautiful atmosphere that is best kept in Thailand because the owner asks for tips. The beef was liver. And they were mad that I only paid 18$ for an order of Liver beef and rice. When people assume that a tip should be obligatory but their prices are high and they own the place. Nice stop along the way. Next!

2023-07-02 20:06:20This little spot is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in LA. I tend to find each restaurant has a specific dish or dishes that is more authentic or that I favor but BKKs entire menu is spot on. From Mamas ribs, larb gai, herbal wings and sticky rice, its as close to Bangkok street food as youll get in LA.This is Bangkok style so you wont get a lot of the herbs, lime and lemongrass of Isaan or the curries of the south, but youll get authentic Bangkok style Thai food that every bite reminds you of those days walking the streets of Bangkok eating at food stalls. The staff are all very kind and sweet and besides whats on the menu they at one point offered catering but not sure if thats still an option.Theres a lot of Thai food in LA, but not a lot of authentic Thai food. BKK101 should be on your short list of Thai spots to hit.Definitely try the her al wings, Mamas ribs, pork jerky and crying tiger with some chicken larb and sticky rice

2023-08-05 03:41:44I chose “mild” for the spicy level for my curry but it came out too spicy. Curry is not thick enough and lack of flavor except spicy. Pad Thai is all right. Thai fried rice is not flavorful and the rice is too soft.

2023-01-10 06:50:12Incredibly delicious and flavorful Thai food that tasted even better than most of the food I had in Thailand. The panang curry and roti curry were delightful. I even went back the next night for dinner.

2023-08-28 05:07:51Overall, the sticky mango rice (which was seasonal according to the menu) was outstanding. The rice was well steamed, and had the perfect amount of flavor. The coconut milk sauce on the side was good as well. Not to mention the mangos were extremely fresh and sweet. A simple yet delicious dessert. The service provided by the young lady was great as well. Will recommend to try it out before the mangoes go out of season.

2023-07-30 00:05:07Found this hidden gem of a place on my way walking the other day. The food is EXCELLENT. And the people here are always nice and friendly. I always order the Tom Kha (coconut soup) and it’s very rich and creamy. The other items in the menu are really well made and I come over just to eat in this place, because it’s my favorite Thai place so far. The prices are the same as other places, but it’s twice the quality. Sincerely a great place to eat. 5 stars

2021-10-25 23:19:48Wonderful Thai restaurant! Reasonably priced with decent portions. The Soft Shell crab curry is to die for!!! Two whole crabs and a lot of veggies in the curry, along with a big bowl of rice had me totally full. I ordered it spicy, and it was really spicy! Other Thai restaurants I’ll order “Thai spicy” but I probably won’t here :) We came a little late, right before they closed at 3:30, but the service and quality of food was still wonderful. Did not feel rushed at all. I will be back to try some more dishes.

2022-05-19 23:13:24We made it just before they were closing lunch, so we grabbed takeout. It was absolutely delicious. The spice was real. Fresh and flavorful. What a meal. Worth every penny.
