Blossom and Root Kitchen in Danville

Absolutely Fantastic! My first impression, perfect!I love the atmosphere and decor. Very special vibe!The food was as beautiful as it was delicious! We started with drinks,Persimmon Beet Bellini & Pomegranate Cloud. The appetizers were the Bread Plate and the Fritters. The main was the Masa Cake.Looking forward to bringing family and friends.

Everything is absolutely delicious and the menu options are so new and excitingly interesting. The atmosphere is warm and has a lively buzz, with charming outdoor eating. The cocktails are invigoratingly elegant and festive! As an omnivore, I loved everything I tasted, found myself more than satiated, and will definitely be back -- ideally at least once a week! Gourmet and intricate flavors....worth traveling from all around the Bay to come try it! The mac n cheese will be a crowd winner for even the most selective eater, but I especially loved the fritters (no cholesterol) with aioli and the light lemon dessert!

I went with my girlfriend for our anniversary and THEY SAID OUR DESSERT WAS ON THE HOUSE!! The gnocchi was delectable. The burger was delicious. The crudites were tasty. The mousse was sublime. The cookie was scrumptious. And we aint even Vegan!Also hummingbird wallpaper is always appreciated.

Ive been waiting for this restaurant to open for a very long time. Even though the menu was limited, everything we had was delicious. The lemon slice fritters were wonderful!. The poke bowl had too much rice yet it was very tasty. A lot more dishes to try and will be back again. The service was very good too. This is like the Wildseed (a vegan restaurant in San Francisco and Palo Alto) of the east bay.

Aside from inquiring about their wine selection, I’m pretty sure that this is Danville’s first ever fully vegan restaurant so I was excited to check it out! This newly opened restaurant has a pretty nice selection of appetizers, salads, entrees & drinks. We were seated in the back patio outside, it was around 6pm & the weather was great; not too hot or cold. For starters our table ordered the Lets Get Fizzical Guava & Blood Orange drinks, The Mermaid, Lemon Chips appetizer and the Spiced Nuts. The Lemon Chips were a bit oily for my taste but delicious nonetheless. The Spiced Nuts were spiced very well with lots of flavor & went great with our drinks. Speaking of which, we got to meet the bartender for that evening who was incredibly generous to us & graciously gifted us some Lavender Champagne. For entrees we ordered the Masa Cake, The B&R Burger & The Mac & Cheese. I bought the burger because I was curious to taste the “maple smoked mustard”, however it just tasted like regular mustard to me which was a bit of a bummer but it was still really good. The Mac & Cheese was nice & creamy, bold flavors with soft noodles, the crispy onions was a nice accompaniment. The cheese on the burger is the same as the cheese in the Mac & Cheese; that warm, thick, bold creamy flavor worked really well in the burger. It was a bit messy but totally worth it! It was nicely sized too. The service was ok, maybe the server was a bit busy that evening; long periods of time between contact. Towards the end of our meal they turned on the heater next to our table which made our table super hot! I was glad to get out of there towards the end, it was making us way too hot. They didn’t really check in with us when they turned it on either, it was pretty unnecessary for us; we were already enjoying the nice warm evening, I would have rather they checked in with us on that beforehand. Overall I had a great experience there, food & drinks were great! All the plates were presented beautifully & the tastes definitely lived up to it. I will most likely be coming back to try out some of the other dishes & I am curious to see if they will change they change the menu at all, seasonally or just new items in general. Definitely come check this place out! It’s a must for anyone interested supporting a fully plant-based restaurant! (Though I still need to check on the wine)

Me and my boyfriend were speechless all the way through, every single plate we had order had gave us lots of surprise, it’s very delicious.Not your normal restaurant, definitely recommend! Please try their drinks, lemon chips and burgers, oh and dessert too!!

Love this new restaurant in downtown Danville! Charming and cozy vibes with unique and flavorful options! Everything was very filling and we had fun exploring the menu. Highly recommend a visit here! Thank you Blossom & Root! We will be back :)

We are new to the area having just moved to Danville less than a month a ago and weve already been to Blossom & Root 3 times!We absolutely LOVE this place!In our experience, they have hit a Grand Slam Home Run with delicious food, impeccably prepared, a warm and welcoming ambiance and team of associates that go out of their way to make you feel at home.So thank you Susan, Adriana and Samantha for making last night another wonderful experience.We will be back soon.....and often!

I eat Halal & I had no issue dining here they will take care of your dietary restrictions. Love it !!!
