Blue Sky in Campbell

They’ve been around for a long time, for good reason - our favorite local Chinese restaurant. They serve large portions of delicious food and have friendly service. I especially like the dry fried green beans, beef chow fun, tomato beef, and salt and pepper prawns. Good for large or small groups. Dine in or take out.

Service was great ! I called ahead over the phone ! First time here. I think the food is good . The sweet and sour had a jelly type consistency that I’m not used to. I Still ate the rice and the other stuff . If I come back I’ll try something else . Ended up staying and eating the lady who helped me in was nice . They are open inside for dining .

We make sure to go only Fridays. Must be the chef we prefer. Have paid many times for food during other days and isnt good. Prices have gone up.

Food always excellent. Staff are very friendly and quick. One of our favorite places.

Food was not very good, soggy and soupy salad, too much salt on everything. The service was just okay, not fast, but they were friendly. Very dated, it looks like it was last renovated in the 60s. Not the worst, but I will not be going back again.

I must admit it, terrible food. Me and my beautiful wife had a bad experience here at this place, all the food look the same color it look like it was all mix on the same wok, and super super salty, next day we were feelings light headed and deezy from all the sodium, never again!

First time visit and the food was phenomenal. This establishment has been in this location serving good food for many years. They have this lamb with mango dish thats off the hook delicious. Tangerine beef was yummy. Hong Kong style Chow Mein had noodles bought crunchy and soft as how it should be. Broccoli Beef was done properly where most restaurants utterly fail the recipe. We started our meal with Wor Wonton soup which came with lots of wonton. We ordered 8 dishes additionally. Honey Walnut prawns was the best according to my daughter who has tasted many and rated theirs thumbs up, utterly good. Mandarin sparerib was both sweet and tangy. It was eaten so fast I almost did not get a piece. Snow Peas with vegetables did not disappoint. I found the rice a bit dry but there was plenty of sauce from the dishes to make you forget. The staff was nice. Ordering was quick. Food delivery was even quicker. They must have lots of cooks back there whipping up these classic and yummy dishes because the food came in the blink of an eye. Staff was just delivering our oolong tea when soup arrived first. Shortly after our table was overwhelmed with dishes that stimulated our senses with delight. We ate so much that we experienced food coma causing us to lean back, and look up at the blue sky. Ah, is that why its called Blue Sky Chinese Restaurant?

Ahhh. NoIts been about 20 years since Ive eaten here so I decided to stop in and grab a bite. I ordered letter B. It came with a cup of wonton soup, fried rice, sweet and sour pork, some kind of fried breaded pork and well you look at the pic, what looks like fake chicken dish.Oh yah hot tea also.The restaurant was quiet, the atmosphere was actually pretty nice it also look well kept and clean 4 stars.Wonton: tasted like bleach, (or what weekend bleach with water smells like really weird ) was very hard and chewy also the broth was super salty. 1.5 starsSweet and sour pork: ( wheres the pork?) 80% fat very little pork 1 starFried rice: was very dark looking also salty. 2 stars.Fried pork chops with batter?: Run!!!! Forrest run. 1 starThe chicken stuff with little corn cobs and nuts.... I just took 2 bites. super salty! 1 star.There was so much salt in the food that my gums actually hurt.As much as I want to, I cannot recommend this place to anybody. Apparently the ownership change 2 years ago. Id expect food like this from a third world country but not from an area where you can buy great quality foods, you dont need to put a lot on the plate just give us good food and charge accordingly.The two stars are for a clean restaurant. the food they get zero.

Ordered kung Pao chicken and beef tangerine. We didnt like either of the dishes. We could feel only thick flour batter and no meat in Beef tangerine! Its very chewy as well!

The boss is very kind, and every sale is specially made by oneself. The food is excellent and delicious, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the restaurant has a strong flavor of traditional Chinese culture. The price is reasonable, cheaper than other places, worth going to, making you feel regretful
