This is one of my most favorite restaurants. I have been coming here for years! My wife and I moved to Iowa last year after I retired, and we miss Blue Fin terrible.The food is always outdtanding and delicious!The owner and her daughter do a remarkable job running the restaurant and treating the customers like family.I was in the Palm Springs area and made time to drive to Whittier to eat at Blue Fin.Friends and family that we have brought to Blue Fin have never been disappointed.Please give it a try.Thank you!Earl Nicholson

At their chicken teriyaki bowl on a pick up order. The food was delicious. There is the perfect amount of teriyaki sauce. Great price, under $10. The front staff woman was really nice over the phone and in person. Nice!

The place is average….. we ordered California rolls and there was barely any avocados in the roll. The salmon was a little dry, good flavor but over-all just average…. In my opinion, over priced for the portion and quality of food

I had to share this experience:A couple of weekends ago, I threw a surprise birthday party for my wife. The original food plans fell through last minute, and I found Bluefin through a Google search. I called and apologize for the last minute request, but I needed a large order to feed 10+ people. Not only did the staff at Bluefin accommodate putting together a huge order in just a few hours, they arranged it in an elegant display for my wife. Could not have been nicer over the phone and in person. The sushi was phenomenal, and my wife was so stinking happy.Thank you so, so much! Youve earned lifelong customers!

They have changed a little under new ownership, but the food is still very good. Portions are now a little smaller, which is completely fine. Before the portions were maybe a little too much. Menu is still the same as far as I have seen. We still enjoy getting take out from there. Now open on Sundays.

Delicious healthy and fresh food. My sisters and I probably eat here 3-4 times a month and the food is always delicious. We love the Sumi chicken salad, Mexican spicy roll, Chicken bowls and dinner plates. Great prices and dining area is very clean. The owner is Gina and she is always so sweet to us.

Bluefin always has excellent service and even better food! I used to come here at least once a week before covid, but still frequent whenever I get that itch for good Japanese cuisine. I usually stick with the chicken katsu plate 🍛, which is terrific, but their spicy teriyaki bowl 🍜 is also absolutely incredible. One of the spiciest things Ive ever had.My mom orders their sushi. Im not huge in sushi but its her favorite in the area, and always our go-to pick for shrimp crunch rolls 🍣

Really great long time standing teriyaki shop! Staple & fresh. They aren’t fast food so their food comes out 10-20 minutes but totally worth it because I can tell they’re cooking everything fresh. All their sauces are made in house & it’s bomb.

We stopped in originally because I had enjoyed eating at a similar place with the same name in Phoenix. But this restaurant is much better - so much better. This place became the thing my wife craved in the middle of the night.

Very tasty for a fast food sushi restaurant. Owners and workers are very nice. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. Great alternative to joy and more economical, too. Lobster roll approx $9 @ blue vs $16 @ joy.

Yum! Very fresh and the teriyaki is not overly sweet. The chicken is finely cut not like other places. I like the the bento box it comes with sushi, miso soup, teriyaki chicken, tempura vegetables and rice. So worth the price.

The sushi is surprisingly AMAZING. The albacore delight is my favorite. The sushi is really fresh and delicious.Their teriyaki chicken is really soft and good. And their prices are really good and affordable. Highly recommend!

Love this place its very clean and the staff at the register are friendly asf... my buddy and I go every other week and the lady already knows what we want 😂 I love it... I would recommend this place to anyone looking for sushi and theyre lunch special is legit a good deal.

MMMM Love everything on the menu....not a busy place. I normally get my food to go but it is nice to sit and eat there too. Ladies are very nice, and even though it is fast food sushi they come and serve you at your table.

Been eating here since it opened. Everything teriyaki is good. Cant tell you about the sushi though, sorry, its not my thing. Spicy pork is HOT, but good if you can tolerate it.

Authentic, high-quality Japanese food. Its in the basement of the building, and may be hard to find, but when I went there, a doorman at the entrance pointed us in the right direction. Its a great place to go for a date because its somewhat of a hidden gem.
