I had an excellent customer service experience. Everyone from the moment I pulled up and greeted.. to having my car serviced and even one of the car salesmen was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I am very thankful to have my service tech Tom Ryan help me take care of my prized possession.. . My BMW. It is a nice feeling to drive out of the service garage knowing I am in good hands. The service provided by BMW Monrovia was done quickly and professionally. All my issues were addressed. Specially, my service advisor Jovani was awesome. He took the time to hear everything I had to say, was patient, and was extremely attentive during each visit and the entirety of the process. I had to use a service vehicle and he made sure I got my vehicle. He kept me informed during those days on the status and outlook for my vehicle, ultimately explaining everything that was serviced.

Came here to service my BMW and Tim West was my service advisor. He did a good job explaining what service was required and helped get me a loaner vehicle since service took longer than a day. Tim had good customer service and kept me updated on the service. Prices are as expected for a dealership as you are paying for quality service and BMW parts. Would have gotten 5 stars if the pricing was more competitive.

BMW of Monrovia is amazing. I live more than an hour away and my husband and I still chose to come here instead of two other closer BMW dealerships. On 11/8/23 my husband took our car in for a water pump issue and oil change. Steve in the service department was absolutely wonderful. He took the time to explain everything and took extra care to ensure my husband was taken care of, including giving him a ride to get some lunch since he was therw literally the entire day. Thank you BMW of Monrovia and an extra special thank you to Steve in the service department - we will continue to be loyal customers because of you!

Jeff was my advisor and made my experience GREAT. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately greeted. My car was checked in timely and Victor from Finance went out of his way to shuttle me home, since the driver was busy. When it was time to pick up my car, they sent me an Uber. Checkout process was also great. I was escorted to my car where my door was open. EXCELLENT experience. Huge thanks to the teams at BMW Monrovia!

The moment I scheduled my appointment I knew I was in good care. My service manager Matt explained everything clearly and asked if I had any questions. The emails and texts were so helpful too! When I picked up my car Matt was at lunch so I could not Thank Him Personally! I would highly recommend BMW Monrovia to my family and friends. I had an appointment to service my BMW i3 with Jeff Liu and I had the best experience! I’ve been to many different dealerships for different cars/trucks and this one by far is the best. Jeff was so polite, fast and friendly. I dropped off my vehicle and it was ready within a couple of hours. I want to say Thank you to the service mechanic who worked on my vehicle too! I took my vehicle to the Ontario BMW service center about a year ago and they left me stranded with out a vehicle for 7 days just to change the small 12 volt battery. BMW of Monrovia will now be my first choice, always! Thank you!

I made an appointment for wiper blade replacement at the latest time possible on a weekday and waited for my car. The wait time was very reasonable. My service tech, Greg H., who was my service tech on my last visit, was again very prompt, couteous, and friendly. My service request was 100% fulfilled. I was also there to visit the finance department regarding warranty service, and Rafi was also very prompt and courteous with my inquiry. I like having a place to call my dealership.

I brought my car in for a recall and Steve Coreas was my service advisor. Steve is the man you want to talk to. Hes professional, courteous, and really wants to help. He had my car inspected and found problems to my radiator and valve cover gasket. I had him replace them. He called at the end of each day to update me with how my car was doing and to let me know what was completed, which is really nice. I dont like being left in the dark. He also got me a courtesy vehicle so I could get to work. At the end of the service I tried to give him a tip because he took good care of my car and made sure everything was good and running. But he said it was cool and was just glad he could help. I can tell how sincere he was and wish he took the tip. It was a great experience. Thank you Steve!

I called my BMW service representative Steve Coreas to assist with scheduling my service. Within minutes he was able to secure next day service on my X4. He was great at answering all my questions and taking care of all my needs. He was kind enough to even have my car washed before I took possession of it. I walked out of the dealership very happy knowing Steve provided great customer service. If you need assistance with service I definitely recommend Steve.

Poor communication. Had an appointment for an oil change, was waiting 2 hours and THEN I’m told that it won’t happen for ANOTHER 2 hours. It’s an oil change - I could’ve gotten that done anywhere wothin 30 minutes. It would’ve been fine if they told me there was a significant delay, but to tell me after I’d already spent my morning there is absolute garbage.

Great customer service, my service manager is TIM, he is awesome: very communicative, knowledgeable, and does his best to ensure customer satisfaction. The only reason I didnt give them a 5-star rating is because the car itself seems to be stubborn and I have to keep having to take it in, which is really inconvenient.

While visiting LA from out of town my car showed a check engine warning. I took it to BMW of Monrovia and was very happy with the experience. Tim West took great care of me and was easy to work with. The service facility at BMW of Monrovia is polished and professional. It took them a couple of days to get to my car and I was grateful that they had a loaner available. Now I feel confident continuing on my road trip!

I was impressed by my service technician, Rocky Chow’s, help. He went over & beyond to help get my Mini fully diagnosed. My Mini has been getting a reoccurring engine light for years code 272B. No facility has fully been able to correct this issue from reoccurring. Not even consciously not over-fueling has helped.The fuel pump & charcoal canister had been replaced in the past. In fact, the fuel pump was replaced again last year.Rocky helped to finally get this issue diagnosed.

If you want your car fixed and done right understand this pace is the busiest BMW service department and thats why everyone in the San Gabriel Valley goes here. Had my 2017 x5 worked on for its battery, air ride system and start/stop systems. Loaner department was fast and easy. Steve C was on top of the problems even though his was hard to get hold of, he went over and beyond customer service. Tom also great guy. I recommend coming here for their honesty which is hard to come by.Thanks guys for helping a Firefighter out.

Matthew Clark has been my service rep for many years. I had a problem with my engine light showing that I needed to bring it in. I presented a coupon. Service representative said discount was better applying the rate he is giving, but was not true. No discount seems to be applied at all. Advertisement coupons seem to be bait and switch. Secondly, recall was also serviced. Afterwards, keyless entry does not work, and resulted in two service visits in two consecutive weekends. Thirdly, alignment was done about a year ago, and was recommended again. In addition, no one was at the cashier’s desk, some customers were standing at the parts line as there were no delineating partition. The man at the parts booth treated us dumb for standing in his line while the cashier did not show up for a while.

Staff was friendly and offered Portos haha seating area is great - they have couches and high tables which was perfect so I can pull out my laptop and work. I had issue with BMW i3 Range Extender battery. It reaches only 54 miles fully charged. Tim West was my Advisor. He was really helpful. His tech guy found out the battery installed by BMW of Buena Park did not installed 12v battery properly 3 yrs ago. The battery terminal was loose and not able to charge in full. Now I have to pay around $973 to pay for the battery test and installed new 12v battery. As a loyal BMW driver, I paid this car in full. I am planning to keep driving this car for a long time. it is unacceptable for me to pay when it is not my fault. I would like BMW of Buena Park manager to contact me and reimburse me the costs.On top of it and spent around $973, the car battery only got to 59 miles when the car deliver to me by BMW of Monrovia. I turned on the AC and the car was still on the dealership lot, it went from 59 miles to 48 miles. How can so much miles drop just turn on the AC without moving the car?I showed to Tim West. He told me this is all he can do for me right now.There are two things I would BMW of North America to solve for me.1. BMW of Buena Park did not install the 12v battery properly caused the car battery to drain. Now I have to pay $973 to fix it. I would like the manager from BMW of Buena Park to reimburse the cost.2. Since BMW promised 8 yrs/100,000 miles warranty, I hope someone from BMW of North America contact me as soon as possible regarding i3 car battery drain issue.3. I do have proof photos and date stamp of milesThank you.

Just after Andrea Duran introduced himself to me, he said my car is dirty. Then he asked me what is going on? I answered him for oil change. Later he asked me to confirm my phone number is correct twice and I said yes and yes again, however he asked me to confirm my phone numbers is correct the third time, therefore I requested for a different service advisor.Later I told Mr Wang that my car is due for an oil change and he told me that he had detached on my car key that it was only 4,000 miles and oil change was not needed.Then he kept on insisting me for engine filter and cabin filter replacement which was less than 10,000 miles on it and radiator coolant less than 20,000 miles. However I asked him to detract it again in my key of those services and he was unable to do so.My car is less than 80,000 miles and he insisted me to replace my spark plugs even I had told him even the manufacturer recommendations is 100,000 miles.SincerelyAnthony

My X5 had battery problem. Over 40 years of driving experience I thought a new battery will fix it.But the diagnosis was Faulty Alternator which requires $2,065.11 for replacement. I declined the service but was charged $229 for diagnosis.I took my SUV to AutoZone and tested there for FREE. The result was bad battery. Then I bought a new AGM battery which fits my car. The staff helped me to installed the new battery. Total cost was $222.Now my SUV is up and running without the problem for a week so far.I am very unhappy to pay $229 for the diagnosis which was incorrect.

Had an appointment for Saturday morning. The tech called 30 minutes prior to closing to tell me they couldn’t look at the car. I had to rush over to pick up the car before closing, lest I wouldn’t be able to pick up the car until Monday. I was picking up my vehicle that was ready. I checked in with everyone that I was required and then was asked to wait. It became apparent after more than an hour that they had forgotten about me.Even some of the staff thought it was outrageous especially when I was just picking up my car. Nothing was offered to compensate for this loss of time. The apology was a half-hearted attempt while blaming somebody else and avoiding any responsibility. I will not return.

The service representative is kinda hard to reach out.We got to replace one of the board in the rear underneath the car, but the way they installed it is not very good. There is a big gap.Also, 2 of my seat belts in the rear seats are twisted, they didn’t fix them for me, also told me everything looks good, until I showed them how the seat belts should be like when I picked up the car. Unfortunately they couldn’t fix it for me, had to make another appointment.

Brought my car in for a Driving Assistance error that kept occurring and it affected my Active Blink Spot Detection system. Over the phone, I told it could be that the sensors were dirty. When I took it in, they said it was because I didnt have the camera on. Well, I am not a BMW technician or mechanic, but these reasons simply dont add up. The error didnt come up anymore until now...about 10 days later, same error. Frustrating and inconvenient to have to go back once again.

After I experienced a flat tire on Monday morning, BMW of Monrovia came to the rescue and was able to remove all four wheels locks in order to install four new Pirelli tires followed by a wheel alignment. They also changed oil and filter, and did an extensive multi-point video inspection. Service Manager Steve C., and Tio, Victor, and Olia were the consummate professionals. It took a little longer than expected but the team got me back on the road. Thank you BMV of Monrovia!

I dropped my car off to service. The representative that assisted me was great. When my husband went to pick up the car, the cashier was very rude to him. It almost looked like he was an inconvenience to her. No greeting when he walked in and no thank you at the end of the transaction. Then when my husband asked for the cost for an oil change, she rudely says go talk to your representative. I didn’t think this kind of service was acceptable from BMW, a premium car company. Very disappointed to receive this type of service!

We were very pleased with the service and with our service advisor Tim West. The adviser and the entire team were highly professional, extremely efficient and very courteous. From the time we entered the service lane, we were immediately greeted and processed in. Though we were an hour early, they were still able to accommodate us the best they could in a timely way. After fueling up at their classy coffee and tea station inside--yummy BTW, we were ready for our shuttle. The shuttle service was prompt and met our schedule offsite. On the way back to the dealership, our Uber ride was paid for with a voucher--very cool! And all this happened on a very very busy day, impressive. This made our service enjoyable and vehicle restored back to new with an extra shine after cleaning and polishing. The communication between the service department and myself was the worst Ive experience. I called, left voice messages, responded to texts, and did not get a response. It wasnt until days later that I angrily told the front office staff that I had to speak to someone immediately that I finally spoke to a gentlemen name Jesus. He informed me of the problem and I asked to work with a new service representative since he was not effectively communicating with me. He said ok then hung up on me. I then called back and worked with a gentlemen by the name of Tom. He was initially much more responsive and addressed my concerns in a timely manner. Check engine light on and message received with engine oil/vehicle check/microfilter due. Scheduled online and brought in vehicle on Saturday, May 6th, 9 am. Was informed $650 for oil change/maintenance. Since check engine light on and needs fixing I may as well pay for oil change here to eliminate the wait time. But was informed a loaner must be booked 3 weeks in advance. Unlike other reviewers indicated that a ride was offered, got shuttle to take them home or got a comparable loaner. I left with my own ride thinking how can I anticipate my check engine light will turned on 3 weeks ago so I can book a loaner 3 weeks in advance. Got a message at 11 am same date informing vehicle will be ready Monday afternoon. I have to found a ride to get to work on Monday. Unlike other reviewers, I was not communicated on Monday and was not kept informed. I had to text them at 12:20 pm and ask for an update. Got the message at 2:20 pm indicating my vehicle is ready and that they closed at 5 pm and the total cost. I dont get off of work until 6 pm. I have to request time off and find a ride to pick-up my car. Unlike other reviewer indicated that their car was washed and vacuum. I am not expecting that but at least return at the same state that it was dropped off. Both seats were pushed all the way back, my dash cam was unplugged and unwired, gas was lowered and vehicle not even charged. Good that I have enough to get home and had to plugged in immediately. Also found that I was driving without my headlight on for 3 days because it was changed from auto to off. After maintenance found the battery drain faster than before. I later found that my brother who has the same car model dropped off his car for check engine light but he was able to get a loaner. The only difference is that he is a male and that he purchased the car at Monrovia.

After the 12-point inspection was done, tech recommended rear brakes be replaced.It didnt make sense to leave and have the brakes done later, so I wanted to get them done also. After a short discussion, the Tech was helpful in getting the price for repairs in a more reasonable range for my budget. The repairs were completed the next morning and I picked the car up. No problems. I appreciated the help from my Tech and request he be assignedto my account for future visits to the Service Department.P.S. Do not get rid of that coffee/hot chocolate machine for customers!

The service person was courteous and helpful. But, when they returned my car the plastic cover to the circuit breaker panel was laying on the driver’s side floor and the circuit panel was still hanging out. The mechanic had failed to put it back together. Also, the large cardboard service sign was still taped to the passenger side windshield and there was a large black grease smudge on the hood. There was a major lack of attention to detail and it appeared as if the mechanic had abruptly left before finishing the job. I was not impressed and I won’t recommend BMW of Monrovia to anyone.

BMW Monrovia is my go-to dealership for service and repairs. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. For the past few years, I have been seeing service consultant Tom Ryan. He always provides detailed information about the repairs needed and options for future services. My car repairs are done on time and never cost more than the estimate that he provided. I drive past 3 BMW dealerships just to go to BMW of Monrovia. I am happy with their service every single time!

Expected a higher quality service from this service center. With the cost of the car and the fact it was within the first 6 months of purchase, I would have expected more. I had an 8 am appointment and no one even looked at it until after 3 pm. I was fortunate that it was a small problem. However, I was not able to pick up my car until after 5 which took quite a bit to arrange. When I got there I was not given any documentation or any type of receipt. Very low responsiveness. I previously had 2 Acuras and was always treated as if my business was important. Im discouraged that the customer service attitude has been so laxed for a luxury car dealer.

I experienced problems with a clicking noise while turning on Saturday. I was told that it would probably be Monday before they would be able to look at it. I didn’t hear from them on Monday so o called on Tuesday and left two messages for my service advisor to obtain a status update. I did it receive a return call. I called again on Wednesday morning about 10:00 am and spoke to the service advisor who told me that they couldn’t replicate the problem so I could come pick it up. I asked if they ever planned to return my calls or provide an update to which he replied that he was off on Tuesday and planned to call me later that day. Very unhappy with his nonchalance.

I brought in my Mini of Monrovia for a malfunction alert that popped up every now and then. They quickly found the problem and tightened the loose cables that were causing the message to appear. They also took care of a gooey mess that dripped from my hood to the rim above the wheel well. I forgot to ask them if they would take care of that too. I was pleasantly surprised that they took care of it while they had my car. 😁 (I previously took my car to another dealership for the malfunction alert and they couldnt find the problem. They had my care for three days.)😒

First, we brought our vehicle in a little under 10 minutes past our 8 a.m. appt to have the run flat changed, and decided to change out the other rear tire on our 330i sw to keep them both uniform even though the car is driven just a few miles a few times a week, anyway. The Service Advisor, Jesus, mentioned the recall on the Coolant Vent Line that we were aware of, and decided to have them work on that (rarely trust recall notices to begin with); ETA for completion for everything was 1-2 p.m. Since we live 30 minutes away (couldnt take it to the place we bought our car from and typically go for service since its another 25 minutes in the opposite direction and the run flat wouldnt have made it, so we came to Monrovia (there is a closer BMW near our home, but with bad reviews)...was fine to wait until 1/2 p.m. When I asked about the status at 2:30, was told that it should almost be ready...then was told that the tires didnt arrive until 2, but that it was almost done...I did not get my car until 5 p.m. without the car wash they said they would do. Spent all day there catching on things Im working on, and at one point, one of the managers, David, approached me, offered me a loaner car to grab lunch which I did, and picked up a gift card as a thank you to him for providing an improved hospitality experience at that juncture; that was the only wow moment experience - also cleared up the car wash issue (after I left) with that manager for one in the near future should I go back. Charlie was also friendly when I asked about one of their used cars on the lot, and quickly brought it up for me to see.2nd non-seamless issue: Parts and Accessories counter and Cashier share the same 10 ft counter; Parts on the left, Cashier on the right. I asked the Cashier if they had a Baby Racer in a box for purchase to which he wasnt sure and pointed to the employee a few feet away and said I needed to ask Madyson. I waited in line for about 10 minutes to ask her the question; she double-checked, so I told her Id like to purchase one- she drew up the order, then said I needed to pay the Cashier, so I went back to the Cashier a few feet down, to pay. After signing the acknowledgement that damaged items must be taken up with the manufacturer after 30 days, I asked if he wouldnt mind bringing the box out so I could check that everything was fine before I left since this will be a gift after the 30-day mark. He said I would need to ask the other employee a few feet away to bring the box out. Seriously!? He had no one in line, and so I waited another 15 minutes and 2 people later cuz he couldnt leave his post for 30 seconds to bring out the box I just bought. Unbelievable. Perhaps its just me from having come from 5-Star Hospitality or owning a business and understanding that time is a luxury (never good to overpromise and underdeliver).It wasnt the worst experience at a service center, but far from the best ~

At about 9:15 a.m. on Thursday March 23rd, I brought my car in for a smog check. I informed Jesus that I need to leave by 1:00pm to pick my granddaughter up from school and could not be late. He said it will take about 3 hrs., which I thought was excessive but needed to get it done. My car sat in the garage lane for more than 30 mins. I texted Jesus and he said one of the porters was coming to move it now. By this time several cars had gone in before me. At 12:55, I texted Jesus but he never answered. I went out to speak to anyone who would listen, and Steve tried to call Jesus and he did not answer. One of the porters told me that Jesus was on his way back. At this point, i was extremely frustrated. He never showed up before I left. Steve stepped in, even though he had customers and handled it. Steve is the real MVP. The customer service from Jesus was completely unacceptable. Im not sure if anything will be said to him, although, I strongly encourage you to. I would hate to think that my treatment was because I was a black woman. I bought my car from the dealership and have been getting my car serviced there since purchase and this was the first time I was treated this poorly. I told the cashier I was considering going to Ontario BMW at this point. I need to bring my car back and Steve really took care of everything from the appointment to putting his name as the person I will see when I return. That is real customer service. I never want to deal with Jesus again. You NEVER leave your customer hanging. Especially, when they have informed you that they need to leave by a certain time and he tells me I will get the car back by that time. To see other people who came in an hour after me leaving before me was not easy to see, since all I wanted was a smog check.

Greg Hernandez informed me that my other tire had been damaged and needed to be replaced. Following this incident, Greg advised me to have my wheels aligned and explained why. He was easy to work with and made the entire process go smoothly.

I took my car in on a Monday due to a repair that was needed to a door lock. They kept the car as they had to order a part that they said would be in on Thursday. The part did not come in until Friday. The technician then found that the lock would still not work properly. Then I was told that other parts were needed to complete the repair. The service advisor told me that they could not get the part that was needed. He then said he would try to find them at outside sources but then they could not guarantee the parts. The original estimate was $1036. When adding the new parts with no guarantee the price became $2400. I decided to pick up my car. So the end result was that BMW of Monrovia had my car for over 4 days and did not fix the problem.

I did not like the service advisors attitude as he was trying to sell me services I did not want! They told me my car would be ready at 3.30-4pm, and it was ready at 2 30pm, and they texted, but they did not bother calling me to let me know it was ready. I arrived at 3pm and sat for a half an hour and no one bothered to tell me my car was ready! I think this is bad customer service!
