Bodhi Bowl in Sacramento

My favorite vegetarian restaurant! Im from Reno and we come here because food is so delicious! I love the A2 and A3! I hope they will have a branch in Reno in the future. More power to the owner.

Food was really good. The fake fried chicken leg (A2) was amazing, it even had a fake bone. The pho (B1) was amazing, and the soup B2 was perfect.

I love love love their enlightenment spring rolls and was scared to order something new but glad I did. Their squash noodle soup is very good. I also love the cup of broth they serve on the side of their plates. And my new favorite is the vegetable soup. I like to order with extra tofu. Sometimes I get it to go and add some ramen noodles at home if Im feeling extra but its amazing on its own. Its the bomb!! Please order this soup and the enlightenment rolls!

My experience in Vietnamese restaurant ..The place very very clean that caught my attention first, it has a retro seating arrangement, for moment after we got our table and was looking around the place I felt was teleported to the late 80’s or 90’s .. I’m saying it in good way this was change and refreshing in that manner.Food and Services:Let me just jump into it! The Quantity was good, in my opinion it’s by far the best vegetarian Vietnamese food ever tasted.Services was the best not had to way for too long and the food was hot and yummy !!My recommendation to this place is a must eat !!I give the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The vegan food here is delicious! I try to swing by this place when I am in the area. I just visited this place today and had the Mindfulness Noodle (B3 on the menu) and the tofu pudding for dessert. I also had a cup of iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee.The owners and staff are friendly. I was quickly seated after arriving and my noodle bowl arrived a few minutes after I ordered. I highly recommend this place!

10/12/2021Recommend? Yes.Lets get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. Thats it. Im Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I havent been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol.The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and meats have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too.The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didnt hate it, but I didnt think they were extra great either.

Delicious food, with reasonable portion and good price. However we both were very thirsty after eating this meal so perhaps they used MSG, or food addictive? We will be back to verify this soon!

For those of you that look for vegetarian food with Vietnamese style in Sacramento this is the place.

The second time we stopped by Bohdi Bowl for lunch and like what we ordered. As usual, we don’t pretend Bodhi Bowl fish tasted like fresh tuna, nor chicken tasted like the real native clucks, nor beef tasted like black angus. And it’s not their whimsical shapes that hinted the meat (that other carnivore used to) luring us to this unique restaurant; it’s the texture and flavor of their dishes that drawn us in. The reasonable price doesn’t hurt our pocket either. Each dish stands in its own; hot and sour soup, stir fried veggies, salty dish, etc. all got their unique and tasty treatments. The best of all was the lack of MSG and the food still has great flavor.
