First time here for lunch on a Monday. No line waiting and service is fast and friendly. We ordered the combo of 15 drums and wing with garlic soy flavor. Personally I think its a bit salty but overall is crispy and delicious. We also had the fries and popcorn shrimp. My 2 kids love the popcorn shrimp! The fried chicken (wings and drums) are quite large in size. For 3 of us, we have ordered too much food and have 4 drums left to take home. Interior decor is trendy and inviting.

First time trying Bon Chon after a coworker suggested it. Placed an order online & got it delivered pretty quickly. A bit pricey to be honest & the rice portion was pretty small for a family meal. But it was pretty good so cant complain too much.* oh & they also put sealed for your safety stickers on my bag which I appreciate alot because you never know about some of these doordash drivers.

I was here for the first time with my girlfriends. I heard a lot from them about the fried chicken and hence decided to go here. The service was great as we didnt make any reservations. We walked in and we were seated. We ordered, fried chicken bulgogi and fries first as we were very hungry. Then we ordered Korean tacos and glass noodles. Delicious, the fried chicken came with radish which is cut like a sugar cube and delicious. The service was good and one thing to remember dogs are not allowed and they dont have outside seating. It was a nice girls day out. I definitely recommend this place as I am going there again 😉.

Fast and great Korean affordable dining with excellent service.We ordered the fried chicken and japchae both tasted excellent. Plus the food came fast and it was affordable.Our waitress was really nice. Most baby/family friendly dining experience we’ve had at a Korean restaurant so far. She gave us baby utensils, water and even stickers! We couldn’t ask for more

First time eating here. It is a Korean fried check chain restaurant. Their fries chicken has a unique flavor and test, it was not anything that remarkable in my taste, may be something that Korean taste bud would appreciate more. Items were pricy ($$$), food was freshly prepared as it seems and service was okay. Place was busy and the two server were having to run back and forth, they need more staff.

The food is dry. I thought I could order more korean type of food here but most of the dishes from the menu are like copy from mexican food like korean tacos 🌮😂. Seriously 😒. The food that I ordered was dry I didnt like it but the rice was okay. It just that they lack originality of the food there.

First off I was excited that this restaurant is so close to me. I usually stop at the one in South San Francisco. I had alot of different and homemade fry chicken in my life but the soy garlic chicken is amazing. Even it is a different restaurant from the city the favors are on point. I included also pictures of the menu check out this place next time you head over to the Livermore outlet. Plus it down the street so no fighting for parking. I did check out the other stores around look like it all new stores and restaurants.

The food really isnt that great. I got the half and half chicken and it was under sauced and didnt have too much flavor. The crispness was on point. The coleslaw was super sweet and didnt taste like much of anything besides sweetness and crunchyness from the cabbage.

Wow this place has tasty fried chicken. I went there with a couple of coworkers and while Ive been at a Korean BBQ before I wasnt sure what to expect from this. I was in for a treat. The spicy stuff is spicy and delicious. However if you order a combo plate, I suggest you start with the non-spicy first so that you can have a progression in the taste. The space is modern with very nice touches like the elaborate lighting. This place is not cheap considering its chicken wings but its worth it, both for the quality of the product and the decor and ambience of the establishment.

Ordered ahead by phone. Have to prepay if your order is over $50. It was ready in the time frame that they gave me and still crunchy when we ate it 20+ minutes later. We got the large wings in the soy garlic and a large combo. Flavor was good. I didnt think the spicy was that hot but others thought in it was very spicy. Maybe it wasnt mixed that well. Overall a good experience. We didnt see order anything in other an the fried chicken so I cant comment on their other menu items.

Had high hopes per recommendations based on other locations. Visited during their soft opening on a Friday late lunch and had to wait a bit for a table for 3. Once seated we never got menus or waters and was ignored by the staff, took a pretty long time to get their attention... here’s why: A worker told a server to take our order but he takes the table behind us instead. Still couldn’t get someone to help us until she made eye contact with me. She asked that same guy who responded yes but when clarified he realized he didn’t. Minus 1 star.Ordered the wings half spicy half soy garlic and two orders of boneless- soy garlic and sweet crunch.Out of the 10 wings majority was drumlettes, there were 4 wings. Spicy was actually mild and the soy garlic was pretty good. But for the boneless (which my kids prefer as it’s less messy) the sweet crunch was pretty plain so they liked the soy garlic more. Minus 1 star.I may come back in the future to allow soft opening learnings to set in. They really have to work on their communication with each other and service. We also never got water refilled - pretty basic service that was lacking.

The service here is NOT good and they will pressure you to order more if they see / deem that what you order is not enough.All of a sudden they will tell you they have a supposed policy (which by the way has NO signage or notices posted, as is legally required nor do they verbally inform BEFORE you sit down and order) that each person must order something.We were already going to order a Medium Combo of the Chicken - Wings and Drumsticks, Half and Half flavor, Seasoned Fries, Onion Rings, and Coleslaw and we were three people. The Korean lady (I dont know if shes the manager or owner or franchiser of this particular branch) was pressuring us to order more, under the guise that due to the pandemic, and to help our workers... -- I understand if that is the situation, but customers / diners should NEVER feel pressured to order more than they can finish and eat.This lady from this branch was very abrasive and rude, and so we just decided to leave and cancel the order. NEVER going to return to this branch again - I would go elsewhere - DO NOT GO HERE!! You will be pressured and cheated -- theres many other Bonchon branches in the Bay Area -- the one in Sunnyvale has great and BETTER service than here and they wont pressure / cheat you!!Shame on this branch!

This was my first time dining at Bonchon and I was immediately greeted by a young man named Alex. He was super friendly and gave me many recommendations for food. I ordered the chicken katsu as well as a fried chicken combo with half soy and half spicy sauce. The food tasted really good and came out pretty fast after ordering. Overall, my experience was really good and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Here Bonchon is a Korean fried chicken restaurant that has quickly become one of my go-to places for a quick, affordable, and delicious meal. The wings are served fresh out of the fryer, hot and juicy. You really cant go wrong with any of the flavors.Another standout on the menu is the bibimbap, a giant stone bowl filled with steamed rice, marinated beef, assorted vegetables, spicy gochujang paste, and a fried egg. The ingredients blend together as you mix everything in the bowl, making for a colorful and flavorful combination in each bite.Despite the quality and portions, Bonchon has extremely reasonable prices. Food was good. However, the server was rushing us and while taking the bowl of soup for to go she spilled it on one of our food and did not even apologize or replaced the food. And she did not even wiped the table, we have to do it ourselves. These all happened while we were still eating. She even placed the bill on the wet area of the table. I have to keep my cool coz Im with my children. I understand that it can get busy but this was unacceptable. I think the Stockton branch has better service than this one. Im not coming back to this location. So disappointing!

We ordered the Family Meal which comes with one side. $41 for 12 wings and 6 drumsticks plus a side of coleslaw which was only 3/4 cup for the family. We got half plain and half spicy. Both were extremely dry and overcooked. We had to use a steak knife to cut them. The spicy would have been good if it wasnt overcooked. The plain was... plain. We ordered at 7pm so this wasnt a late order issue. The Ranch 99 food court has better chicken for much cheaper. SAVE YOUR MONEY,

The fried chicken was excellent both the spicy and garlic nice soft taste. The fried seafood rice was cooked to perfection with shrimp and tiny little scallops. The restaurant seems the a lot of customers prefer takeout but plenty of people dined in like I did today. Will come back soon.

I like Bonchon chicken very much. I eat like at least once a month. I used to pick up from San Jose store and was very glad when Pleasanton store opened. Ever since I ordered like 10 times. I always felt that this store gives less quantity and last order hit threshold for me. Drum was so small that I thought I only ordered wing but I was wrong. Drum was as small as wing. That was first time we didnt leave any piece as it was so small for 3 peoples even we ordered large. Today, I went to another branch and realized that quantity didnt change at all for other branch. I understand covid-19 gives a lot of hard time to small business and restaurants. So I tried to order as much as possible from neighborhood store and no complain for price hike. But at this moment, its over. I wont go back to this branch. I dont mind driving 30 min more as I can get better/bigger dish than this specific branch.

Was very displease and disappointed with the experience.1st: As we were ordering the 10 pcs wings, but the worker recommended us to order the 20 pcs instead. Saying that the chicken that they got in were very small. However, when we received our order the chicken wings were regular size.2nd: The charged us 2 extra sodas, after we corrected them, we noticed that they still overcharged us 1 extra. So, we decided to go up to the register instead.3rd: We had no choice of the tipping options, we found out that we had to tip 15$ for gratitude fee. We also did not order a lot either.All in all, the customer service was bad, the food wasnt good, the store was very small, the tap water was extremely disgusting (so we decided to get soda instead), and the overcharged.

We were heading back home to LA after spending time with fam for the holidays and wanted to pick food up on the way. I ordered ahead and spent ~30 + tip on our dinner. We arrived a couple of minutes after receiving the ready text and the lady was still packing our order. While she was packing, I politely asked may we please have more napkins? (Anticipating our long journey and minimal stops) She said she put some in the bag. I explained that I saw but that wouldn’t be enough and to please provide us with more. She still declined and I opened the bag and pulled out the few she provided and said this would not be enough. Finally she acquiesced and counted out 3 extra napkins to provide. As she handed them to me I did make the comment that it’s a shame a predominantly finger food restaurant was so cheap on the napkins. The lady made it a point to lean over and aggressively mumble something about mental health to me. I neither understood nor wanted to continue this interaction so I left. This experience was very disappointing especially over something so nominal like napkins. Sadly we won’t be coming back, the only reason we stopped was because it was close to 85° and it was an easy pickup.

First time visiting Bonchon....here are my impressions:1. service is good...attentive and friendly.2. food:a)edamame for appetizer was a rather small portion, enough for two people, but not much there. What shocked me was they charge $6.95 for what amounts to be a $0.50 serving. Other than salt, was rather bland, so how can they justify that price?b)Japchae-very delicious...I enjoyed this dish. Having said that, the portion was rather small....not that much meat, yet, the price was $15.95. Not a great value at all in my opinion.c)Bull Dak: this was freaking spicy! I mean, really, really spicy! But the flavors and textures were good, and the portion size was generous. But be prepared....this one had my lips on fire for an hour after the meal!3. the rest.....a)the plastic cups used for beverages looked like they were bought at a yard sale...extremely crazed (plastic had fine cracks all throughout). b)the acoustics in the restaurant were terrible. Everyones voices seemed like they were yelling, and the waitress actually turned UP the volume on the sound system, making the soundscape sound terrible between very loud music and peoples voices echoing all over the placec) we asked for a takeout container as we had leftovers...they added $0.30 to our bill for the takeout container!!!!! I had never heard of this in my entire life being charged for a takeout container!!!So, in conclusion, I dont think I will be returning. I think the food is very overpriced, and I did not enjoy the environment....they really should look at adding sound absorbing materials to address this. And stop charging customers for takeout containers...that is insulting.

But for the first time ever at any restaurant one of the employees checked my receipts and my friends and told us that we didnt leave a tip. Which would have been fine if she had actually attended to us through out the meal. This very bold for someone who didnt actually fully provide a service. Ordered the chicken fried rice. $12.95 Portion was so small. Flavor was fine, but the cost was crazy for the quantity. Maybe 2 oz of chicken added - not kidding. Im happy that bonchon has come to Livermore. After soft opening the food has definitely improved. Im giving 4 stars because service was lacking a little bit but then they were still under staffed. Even so, you can tell the servers tried their best. Definitely will come back to eat again.

Guy at the register tells me - rather unhelpfully - this section was crossed out in the first menus. Not his fault, but that tidbit of info was less than useful.Am I cheap? Absolutely. Thats why I asked for the lunch special... since it was advertised.

Been to many Bonchons in the past and this was easily the worst one i’ve been to. Took about 15 minutes before having to ask for water, another 10 for order to been taken.
