2022-08-16 01:56:56Some of the best Mexican food in the area. I’m from LA, so I can’t say they have the best tacos in Cali, but best in the central coastal area.Everything we tried is really pretty good. Asada, Al pastor, Chile verde and especially the salsas. They have a spicy red that has a real kick and a savory green and I mix both.So far I have tried both locations. The weekend “truck” centrally located in Cambria and their brick and mortar which is harder to find, but worth it.Coolest part is you can choose the size of burrito you want!

2019-06-06 01:07:27Very good. Kind of out of the way, but worth the trip. The refried beans were excellent. The Chilli Verde was top notch. The breakfast burritos & tacos had a generous portion of meat. There are only three tables outside for seating so dont expected to eat there. Why not take your food to the nearby Moonstone Beach and enjoy the view while eating some fine Mexican street food 😉.

2023-04-05 22:33:52I can only speak on their breakfast burrito but, thats because its all I crave all of the time. Im literally lucky to have this bootlegged to me over 150 miles away thanks to my family! The photo you see is that burrito being consumed far away, if I am not in Cambria myself. Thanks Bonis! It was marvelous as expected. Oh and that snap is showing the burrito at just half the size!

2022-08-05 20:54:30I have family in town and I’m always looking for good food and this is it. Last time I dropped by their little truck and tried all their meats on tacos, the pastor and chile verde are the standouts. The salsa verde is very good. This time got the chile verde super burrito, it was huge and tasty! Their bean and cheese burrito is a sleeper though, so add one of those to your order. All in all, i think burritos are the move here, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to try their breakfast burritos next time!

2019-07-21 05:24:07Such a tasty treat. We had to track them down since they are at a different spot on the weekends. Well worth your time! Its a delicious Mexican food truck. I had the carne Asada burrito and it was great. My family had the tacos and love them as well. Highly recommended.

2021-01-28 22:15:16Bonis tacos is one of the most amazing Mexican spots in the central coast. The al pastor is unreal! My order is an al pastor breakfast burrito with pineapple and the hot salsa. If you get al pastor as your meat of choice make sure to ask for pineapple!! Great work guys keep up the great work!

2018-08-19 17:16:38The people were very friendly, the food was great and reasonably priced. We had a burrito and quesadillas, both were delicious! If you’re on a highway 1 road trip, this is a great place for lunch!

2018-02-14 22:04:05Bonis is discretely tucked away in a small industrial complex a short distance away from the main Cambria retail area. They have a truck with a permanent location on Main street, but it was closed when I visited. I had the chile verde which was fantastic. Tender pork chunks with a strong note of cumin, not overly based on tomatillos, which was a refreshing change. Great refried beans, and perfectly fluffy rice. Not much seating, and its all outdoors, but its well worth the side trip from the main drag.
