Bophago in Northridge

Bop Ha Go translates to rice and more which ex exactly what this place is! Cute little shop with a few tables inside but their food is so much fun and has a lot of flavor. Each item ranges from about $2-$6 and you order each item individually.I got the ramen (mild), crab meat triangle rice, garlic butter shrimp, bulgogi (beef) and teriyaki chicken. My friend got one of their shaved ices for dessert and they are huge. The garlic shrimp was a little to garlicky for my liking but everything else was delicious. The shaved ices are definitely big enough to share with another person.The triangle rices come with a large piece of seaweed which you wrap to close almost like a sandwich. I didn’t know what to do at first but they had a video inside showing how to do it which was helpful.I love the decorations inside this place as well. And they have a tv playing K Pop music. What more could you ask for!They opened about 6/7 months ago. Large parking lot located with other stores and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back and try new stuff.

I love musubis so when I saw this place on Yelp, I wanted to try the entire menu. These are pretty filling and are made to order. I ordered the tuna, tuna mayo, spicy tuna, crab, spam musubi and the special garlic butter shrimp. Everything was delicious and hit the spot. Its definitely snack food but you can probably get 3-4 as your meal if you want to get full. It looks super cool inside and person who took my order was very friendly.

So funny! I didn’t expect the Korean ramyeon in Northridge! I think it was samyangramyeon :) I love them!!Ramyeon was so great but the tteokbokki was .. hmm I felt it was little bit sweet. So good !

Love this place! I have gone a few times now and have tried their triangle rice, tteokobkki, ramen and bingsu. All of the items Ive tried so far are really delicious. The staff here are very helpful and friendly! Ive brought a few friends here too and they like it as well. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Stopped in with my friend and I have to say this place is delicious. The Salmon rice ball was so wonderful, as was everything else that we had. Will definitely be back again.

I order 2 of triangel rice. It tast just like it, what I ate in Korea. Taste was good, interesting place to go. I will come again.

I ordered two onigiri and one spam musubi and they gave me the completely wrong order! 3 onigiri of the complete opposite flavours and one tteokkpokki. really think they should be more mindful about delivery and checking order numbers etc.

Delicious!Few things to point out:1 - We love the proximity to CSUN.2 - The kimbap is inexpensive and the portions are filling. The flavors are strong and unique.3 - The interior is clean and modern. The painting on the wall is fun, and the music videos they play are entertaining.4 - The staff are friendly and helpful.Do yourself a favor and check them out! I will definitely be back, and Id recommend them to anyone I know.

I loved this. I’ve never had Korean food like this before. I’m told it’s more similar to street food. I tried a bit of everything !
