2023-08-01 06:41:24This place moved into a better location because now there is more parking, and more seating available. The food is still really good. You have to get the lobster with the noodles. You probably Lu know that everything else is good as well, but there is a reason the restaurant is called Boston Lobster. Clams in black bean sauce were good too. Service is attentive and they come out every once in a while to refill your tea and give you fresh plates. Will keep coming here because the quality is still good after all these years and hard to do in a newer and bigger location.

2023-10-05 01:11:50My mom loves the lobster garlic noodles here so the fam will come here whenever we need a restaurant good for a larger group. We came right when it opened so we could avoid the line and were seated within less than 5 minutes. There’s a parking lot with ample parking. For five people, we got an order of the garlic lobster noodles, filet mignon, calamari, fish maw soup, and greens. My dad loves the fish maw soup and got the filet mignon per our waiter’s recommendation, but that was ultimately his least favorite. I think the texture of the garlic noodles is just the right amount of chewy and given that it’s slathered in garlic, I love it. We had plenty of food leftover for multiple meals afterwards. Credit cards accepted. They do serve alcohol. There’s gendered restrooms available. It’s good for big groups and families.

2023-11-24 02:13:28As it was thanksgiving holiday, many places were closed and this place was packed. Waited for 15mins before we were ushered to seats. Food was served quickly. And was super delicious.

2023-10-02 05:15:23One of the best lobster dishes I have ever had. A large and succulent lobster weighing about 5 lb was perfectly cooked in a slightly spicy special sauce. The staffs were very kind and knowledgeable.

2023-06-14 18:32:27We (4) came for House Special Lobster as it looks so good from other reviewers. We were told by the waiter that the minimum weight of a lobster was 4-5 lbs when ordering. So at $27.99/Lb. with 5.25lbs, the Lobster plate came out around $150 + added Yellow egg noodles for extra $10. A little bit steep for us but once in awhile is ok. Other dishes are most likely north of $twenties. We also ordered Beef LocLac, it was very tasty, and they cooked just right. Walnut Shrimp was on point as well. Plenty of parking in the back, but might be packed at the start of dinner time. Just one think though, how did they come up with 5.25 Lbs?

2023-08-29 19:37:18Love the new location! It’s located near Rosemead high school, parking is plentiful at the back. The restaurant looks a bit haunted from the outside right now, but heard that they are planning to do some renovation soon. Inside the restaurant, it’s spacious and clean. And I loved that all the servers were so polite and attentive. No complaints at all, the service there was great. We went on a Saturday around 3pm, and they still serve lunch special prices during the weekend! We opted for clams with basil sauce (so fresh) and Mapo tofu, the portion was on the smaller side but both dishes were delish. I was craving crab that day, so we got the house special crab with noodles. Oh my, that was absolutely divine! Would recommend to add the noodles. Just one little thing I can’t help but notice was that some crab meat was not the freshest, some pieces tasted a bit like frozen crab (especially the crab leg part) But overall, the whole plate was tasty! All in all, we enjoyed the food as expected & I’m happy to see them move to a new bigger location! Will def be back to try out more dishes and of course the lobster too!!Tips:$21.99/lb for the house special crab, and a crab is usually around 2 lbs (as of July 2022)$28/lb for the lobster, the small one is around 3-4 lbs, the medium is around 5-6 lbs (as of August 2023)

2023-11-20 06:56:01Once you try this style of lobster, you will never eat the boiled lobster again. It is so tasty, garlicky, just well seasoned. It is definitely a must try. We also love the pea sprout leaves and ong choy. Weve tried other dishes like mapo tofu, fried oysters, fish maw soup, fried tofu, all delicious. The service is excellent and fast. Simon and the other waiters were very attentive to our need. They made sure we were happy and taken care of. Thank you guys! See you next time!

2023-04-16 02:23:33I think Newport Seafood taste much better. The garlic, onion lobster was dry and flavorless. Their house special lobster might taste better in flavor but if the lobster is dry (overcooked), no flavor can save it. The French beef cubes was mediocre at best (tasted weird with the starch thickening). The dishes were small sized. Overall, not impressed and not for the price. Parking is plentiful. It’s newly remodeled so it looks clean and feels nice as the rooms were separated. Service was fast and friendly though. First and last time coming. Shame though. Wanted to come for lunch sometimes but all it takes is a first impression to prevent a return.
