Food is delicious I recommend walking up to the order window. I told the chef I like it spicy and he did not disappoint. I eat here 3 times a week. It’s fast, delicious, and inexpensive. Beats all the commercial bowl spots. Highly recommend this place.
Great hole in the wall spot! Used to be a door, they upgraded to a window. Love the Teriyaki and Curry bowl. They added Shrimp to the menu and doubled the price, otherwise would have been 5 stars...
The Bowl House has been around La Verne for many years and it is a great place to eat outside on a beautiful spring day. The husband and wife team always serve a great meal at a reasonable price.
This is a great place with delicious punch drinks. I like it, go service with the bar. Delicious and fresh guacamole tacos. Everything tastes very fresh. They have many vegetarian options. Great happy hour.
A literal hole-in-the-wall joint. Walked right by it. It is located between a barber shop and a nail salon. No inside dining, just a small counter to place an order. Couple tables outside for guests. Very friendly attendant. Food is okay at best, but for only 5-6 bucks for most plates, you cant really go wrong. I would describe the food as Asian comfort food. CASH ONLY!

Under new management & had big shoes to fill, and they nailed it. Ill always miss that thicc teriyaki sauce, but the flavor was there 💯
Places isn’t to bad I feel like it’s a tad over priced for what it is since in Covina they have golden bowl which is cheaper taste better and you get more for your money.

2022-09-14 20:41:14The couple that runs this little hidden gem is very sweet and professional. The food is quite tasty not to mention affordable! Well made and so fresh looking. There was no customers around so they took a little time to chat with me. My only regret is that I didnt come here sooner

2023-07-21 14:27:38Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.

2023-07-14 20:27:24Ive been coming here since I was a kid and the teriyaki bowls were $4. Something about ordering from a window that makes it feel extra special. Food is great, value is great, tables on the street are great. Its a downtown La Verne institution that should not be missed.

This takes 1st place no doubt!I try to eat here at least once or twice a week. I get any kind of ramen with the pan fried dumplings every time. I love that it’s family owned and enjoy giving my money to them knowing it’s most likely going back into the community.HANDS DOWN BEST PLACE IF YOU GOT THE MUNCHIES

2023-03-09 06:14:45Was looking for some quick protein after training from the university across the street, has a nice and simple menu, got the teriyaki chicken it was great! But I asked the lady if she could exclude rice since I want to avoid carbs but the rice was included, maybe there was a miscommunication with the chef but can’t complain with the rice I enjoyed it.

2022-07-22 23:23:35I really like the bowl house here in La Verne! Im always greeted with a warm and happy smile. The dishes Ive had have always been well prepared and seasoned so nicely that they are head and shoulders above anybody nearby in my opinion. Definitely, go for it!
