I stumbled upon this place a little while ago and keep telling people about it so I just had to leave a review. If youve never been to Brazil please please visit the Brazil Bistro, the food and people are authentic and the atmosphere is so cute and quaint. I had the steak dish which came with potato salad, rice and beans and yucca. I felt like I was back in Brazil (I went for a visit during the carnival this year). Great location and great parking either on the street or the parking lot nearby.

Amazing Brazilian food, actual authentic Brazilian food. It feels like youre walking into your aunties home, so cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh - beware, the portions are huge! They also sell many Brazilian products. It felt like having brunch in Brazil 🇧🇷🩷

Terrible, you are a shame to good Brazilian food, what an embarrassment! The guava juice doesn’t taste anything like guava, the guava and cheese pastels are disgusting, the chicken empanada is an inedible white pasty texture inside closely resembling vomit, the yuca chips were stale and the tres leches desert is sadness in a plate. Seriously people?! Have some standards!

Brasil Bistrô is my place to go when I miss home, my childhood, my home town. I do love everything about this place. Food is delicious and super fresh. I have ben ordering from them my Holiday dishes for three years in a row . The the “Bacalhau com Natas” ( dish made with bacalhau, potatoes and cream) I should say, that it is the best “bacalhau” dish I ever had in my life. I haven’t eaten such a good bacalhau not even in the best restaurants of my home town, Rio.I am very thankful to Jacqueline, the owner, who also goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. Love this place!Thank you Jacqueline and to all the team who are also very kind and attentive to details.Happy Holidays.

The overall experience was ok!! We ordered feijoada and picanha.. The dishes are well served, the feijoada was amazing and the picanha was a little dull and tasteless.. The juices were very thick and good!! The salgados assados not so much.. We ordered some to take home and they were super dry and heavy, with a lot of dough and not enough stuffing!! The bolos de pote were fine, I mean, if having literally two small slices of a strawberry in the strawberry ninho one sounds like what you serve there.. Never thought I would eat less than one strawberry in an entire container of what was supposed to be a strawberry cake (look at the picture I uploaded.. That was half of all the strawberry there was in the cake!! Hahaha)!! Guys, I can give you a box of strawberries if you cant afford to put more than half a unit inside of the cake, you know?! I would probably go back for the Brazilian dishes, but no salgados or bolos de pote anymore..

This a Brazilian gem of a restaurant. Its an everyday breakfast and lunch place that serves wholesome Brazilian food at reasonable prices. The place is small and quaint. I come here for their steaks. They used to serve probably one of the most consistently cooked medium rare Ive ever had. But recently they started slicing the steaks thinner, while keeping their price unchanged. So if you want medium rare, order it rare.

I ordered the baked steak with guava juice. I forgot to take pic of food because I was hungry. Never heard of baked steak so I had no idea what I was getting into. Crusted slices of meat drenched with tomato sauce and topped with cheese. It was flavorful. Guava juice was just right. Service was better than the average experience. The lady serving us was a delight and very talkative. I will come back and enjoy again.

Ive been to Brazil Bistro twice so far and love it! After spending some of my youth in Sao Paulo, I have fond memories of Brazilian food. Brazil Bistros pasteis take me back to the days of browsing vendor stands at feiras. Their juices are super fresh and delicious, and their pao de queijo is huge and cheesy. Also, staff is super kind & tolerant while I attempt to order in Portuguese despite being severely out of practice! So glad I discovered this gem!Muito obrigado!

Ive never been to Brasil, so I can only compare to Los Angeles.This was not great. Covered in cheese and no flavor inside. Oily rice. Salad without sauce. In LA dishes would cost around $8 for this quality. Here it was $12 and definitely not worth it, even if it was $8.Desert was overly sweet and tasted like something you would find at the bakery in Walmart.The inside is pretty chill and comfortable.

Brazil Bistrô is an excellent restaurant in El Cerrito! The food is delicious and authentic, with a wide variety of typical Brazilian dishes. The have a small menu so its easy to choose and the prices are pretty good. You order at the register and then the food is brought to the table. This is probably good for Brazilians to get a taste of home and chat with the staff in Portuguese (some of them have limited English).I had a steak with rice and potato salad and it was good. It had actually two steaks on it that were good, but not perfect. For $13 more than I expected.

The best and the most authentic Brazilian food in the Bay Area! Anything you get will be exceptionally tasty and fresh; from vegetarian plates through chicken, pork or beef steaks to feijoadas and desserts. Also, amazing coxinhas and other pastries. And really great freshly squeezed juices! Very polite and friendly customer service over the phone as well as at the restaurant. We moved to the East Bay for many reasons and, believe or not, being close to Brazil Bistro was one of them :)Oh, they also sell Guarana Soda, Diet Guarana Soda and many other Brazilian products!

Out of any doubts, this is the BEST food I have ever had in the Bay Area. I had the honor to meet the owner of this business, who works there everyday to ensure that everything is perfect, and everyone is having a good experience.Everything is fresh, unlike most of the restaurants. For you to find food this good you usually have to pay a crazy amount of money, and for small portions, but that’s not the case here.The a la carte plates are well served and inexpensive for the quality of it.BTW! They have a “secret menu”, ask about the Pastel, fresh French bread, breakfast sandwiches!!

First time here been looking for some good Brazilian on this side of town. They offer breakfast as well if you get there early enough. The breakfast menu had a typical American theme as far as food all the Brazilian food was offered on the munch menu. I got the top sirloin and my boo got the pork chop plate. Dishes were flavorful and authentic, both proteins cooked perfectly and the sides and housemade sauces were bomb, the cilantro sauce was my favorite definitely coming back again. For those who are Brazilian its an opportunity to remember, for other nationalities this restaurant has some food you can eat in Brazil, different from traditional steak house. This was the first Feijoada that I ate in USA that really tastes like a feijoada! Very good Brazilian food and juices. Gets a little too busy on Brazilian celebration dates, like Fathers Day (second sunday of August), so if you are not looking to celebrate anything, go in a less busy weekend that you wont wait in line for a table.

I love Brazil Bistro! A place to kill the longing for home. The food is wonderful and the staff are super attentive, polite and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. I love the music they play and the pictures of Brazil on the wall.

Stopping by to leave a compliment for Mariana who always serves us with a smile on her face and is very attentive. Every time we finish placing our order, she offers a glass of ice and a lemon because she knows we like to drink coke with lemon. I always ask which cake was made last so I can buy it fresh and avoid getting sick due to my sensitive stomach and she always answers me patiently. I am very happy to be served by her. I like the other girl too but Mariana is my favorite lolThe food today was very delicious at lunch, breaded chicken with tropeiro which was wonderful!!

Whenever I go, Im even well attended until the time of payment, vegetables and vinaigrette with a strong taste of the past, as if it had been stored for days! The food takes a long time to arrive and when one of the side dishes arrives its chilled, the drink at supermarket shelf temperature, the oven pie about to bend a fork. a very receptive and inviting country when it comes to good food! Its not because were not in our land, that any service can be delivered!

Nice food. Rice sometimes out of season. But only sometimes. The problem is CLEANING! very bad CLEANING, they need to hire someone just to be responsible for cleaning, (the attendants and waitresses are not capable of doing these 3 services). The restaurant floor almost always remains dirty; the corners of windows and walls too.
