Such a neighborhood hidden gem in Richmond area. Their pastry are so good! Everything bun tastes wonderful and bun tastes really fresh. Love the vibe here as well. They have weekend special sold out quickly! Come early if you want to try their special. Creative menu combines both Asian and Western culture food elements together. Love sesame latte, soft shell crab sandwich and the salad here. Savory granola sprinkles in the green salad makes it so special and churchy taste it’s the best! I will come back another time to try out other items.

Regularly pop by just for their kaya toast!!I’m Malaysian so ofc I constantly miss Kaya - a Pandan coconut spread for those unfamiliar with it.Though not the most authentic in flavour and presentation, it is still one of the best kaya toast I’ve ever had in the States.Their other pastries are also worth trying due to their unique Asian inspired flavours. You can’t really go wrong with any of them, even their Western style brekkie sandwiches are delicious and filling

They did not skimp on the ingredients at all! The honey glazed Raclette with mushrooms was pure heaven and it was a nice mix of savory and sweet for breakfast! The kaya toast was decent, personal bias that I am not a huge fan of Kaya, but I was still satisfied. The service is something to write home about, Isalina was helpful from start to finish, and so friendly that she held a conversation throughout recommendations! She made us feel at home and welcomed. We will definitely be coming back!

This place has the BEST pastries in SF, hands down. Whatever they have on their special menu will be a deliciously inventive, having tried their croissant tarts and almond cake.My standouts include the Apfelkuchen Croissant Tart which was sweet, sticky gooeyness, and the Fruity (or Plum)Almond Cake which was warm and nutty and fruity and crumbly and excellent.

Wow, top tier bakery in the city. genuinely blown away by the kaya toast, a must try! this place is on the pricier side but overlooked it bc it was that good. overall, not an everyday bakery but somewhere i would take people visiting.kaya toast: soo good!! the kaya and pandan flavoring with the warm, fluffy milk bread and flaky salt to top were perfect.breakfast sandwich: top tier breakfast sandwich in the city! the chili paste spread provided the perfect amount of spice and wasn’t too heavy of a sandwichkaya bun: not as good as the toast but still tasty. wish the topping stuck to the bun.persimmon croissant: amazing, must try. the filling had chunks of persimmon adding a tartness to the sweet croissantmacnut pineapple croissant tart: a little too sweet for me but people with sweet tooth’s would probs like itma faux caccia: delicious focaccia bread, would recommend to mapo tofu loversscallion pancake: delicious scallion pancake like sandwich but a little too oily for me. prefer the sandwich but a good alternative.black sesame latte: enjoyed this drink even though i’m not the biggest black sesame fan.matcha latte: well made matcha latte, similar to stonemill

The place lives up to the hype. Its open at weird hours and theres probably a line. But damn - the pastries are SO good and the drink concoctions. I got the Kaya Toast - heavenly and enough for two people. That neon green is just so photographable. Also ate the breakfast sandwich which you cant miss. My friend made me drink the coffee with the salted egg. Im super sensitive to caffeine but I would suffer the jitters for it. Theres a parklet in front but its always cold AF in the Richmond so bundle up!

Really enjoyed the Kaya toast here, but did not take a picture of it. Also really enjoyed their breakfast sandwich! I will have to come back for the shrimp sandwich or the soft shell crab sandwich next time. They both sounded great.

I did not enjoy my experience here. One of the employees there was rude to me, my iced latte had way too much milk and was subpar, and the baked goods were rather on the pricey side with little impression in taste and texture. A nice thing about the place is that we can enjoy their food on the outdoor patio.

Cute pastry shop with a wonderful variety. We got the Kaya Toast and Not-Ube Tart. Both were amazing though Id prefer them to be less sweet. The textures of the pastries were on point and I liked how the tart had some element of savoriness sprinkled in.There usually tends to be a line but I wad able to skip it by ordering online (online orders open at 9am)

Had the shrimpwich, it was awesome. But a bit pricey ($24). I’d go back again to try the other stuff.I got here at 12, not much of a line. At 12:30 there was a huge line and stuff started selling out so be careful of that.
