This place deserves mention for its good food and great customer service! Decorated with overflowing planters, it’s pretty too! The affogato was mellow with mild bitter flavors and I enjoyed the contrast between the flavors and the textures. The croissant melt was pillowy and crunchy and not greasy at all.

Cozy little place by the Pismo Pier. Attracted by their bubble waffle specialties, tried PB role waffle with bubble waffle served with peanut butter chocolate chunks with ice cream and whipped cream. It was good. Very slow service. They have a patio and serve other items. Bit pricey for the town, could be due to tourist area. Havent tried other items.

This could have been a bad review... My wife and I ordered breakfast burritos at a busy time and sat down to wait. The wait was greater than 30 minutes, but we were patient. The fantastic person making waffles however, wasnt happy about our wait time. Here is where the review gets good... We were offered some free waffle pieces while we waited (waffles that didnt make the final cut), and were looked after directly, the entire staff doubled their efforts to get our food to us, and make and keep us comfortable while we waited. A second half waffle was given to us. (We quickly regretted not getting waffles... Delicious!) We were cared for, treated with respect and dignity, and offered extra service above and beyond what you may expect at a restaurant in a high volume tourist area. (The breakfast burrito was very good as well.) We will come back to Breezeway again whenever we visit Pismo Beach. Thank you!

Stopped by for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. We both ordered the Sunrise Sandwich with bacon. They were pretty good. Lots of perfectly cooked bacon on them. I would have liked more aioli sauce on mine, but overall it was tasty. We ate in the courtyard behind the restaurant. It has lots of seating with umbrellas and full of beatiful plants. Its a happy place to enjoy a meal.

Good hearty breakfast (we tried the breakfast burrito, the breakfast tots, and the bagel sandwich) the waffles smell amazing but we didn’t try them this trip. Plenty of seating in the breezeway between the cafe and a hotel, and the service was super quick. Only downside is that they don’t have bathrooms even for customers.

This place is so cute. Iced Peanut butter mocha was amazing. We ordered a breakfast burrito which was equally as good. Must come and try there bubble waffle ice cream cones!

AMAZING burrito! My wife and I split the veggie and it was not only plenty of food, but stuffed with amazing ingredients. Plus the service was exceptionally friendly, and the location is just off the beach. We’ll be back!

Its been awhile since my pup and I have been coming here on the weekends during our morning walks and I cant say enough positive things about this place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and I have loved every drink to this day. They even have a cute little patio out back.The food inside smells amazing as well, I need to branch out and try the food! The gal at the register always gets so excited to see my pup, And he loves the attention ;PThank you for the great service!

I had the chicken and waffles - very crispy chicken and lightest of light waffle. My husband had the southwestern burrito - it was delicious too - no need for salsa. Lovely garden to sit in. Thank you!

I cant believe in all my years, we had never gone here. This place is a GEM!We wanted brunch but wanted to stay in Pismo(we usually drive up to Morro Bay).I found they had waffles, and my kids LOVE waffles. My daughter ordered the nutella and my son ordered the fruit(strawberries, blueberries) with whip cream. They absolutely devoured it. They cant wait to go back again.I ordered the bagel breakfast sanwich & peach tea. The tea was soo good. But my bagel was slightly overcooked on one side and it made it chewy. But the ingredients inside were really good. Oh the bagel is an everything bagel, btw.Hubs ordered the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed the salsa that came with it.I want to go back as they have dessert as well. I wish they stayed open a little longer, but we will make it a point to try to get there more often.

Great food and friendly service! We ate out on the patio and it was nice a quiet! We will definitely be back to try the ice cream! Pictured is the breezeway bowl, berry waffle, and iced mochas! My girls got the kids chocolate chip waffle which was 1/2 a waffle and a perfect portion for them!

Truly a gem! The food is made to order and oh so good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Tots in the burrito were toasty. The salsa they give you on the side is fresh (way better than tapatio). I will definitely be back. This is the breakfast/brunch place go-to when in Pismo 😊

The themed waffles were incredibly exciting for the kids, and service was good even though they were very busy... BUT pro-tip... please dont bring one kid their treat before the others is ready. We had a few minutes of tears over that issue. Theyre so elaborate they do take a little while to make.

Tried this cafe for breakfast and it was wonderful! Lox avocado toast is very fresh and tasty, croissant melt is great quality and the latte is really yummy too! Definitely coming back for more.

Over the top bubble waffles with ice cream - the kids were in a sugar high! Hubby raved about the chicken and waffles, youngest was happy with her kids chocolate chip waffle, my parfait was perfect. Decent prices and short wait time.

Avocado salmon toast is a fair deal (too small to be a full breakfast on its own though), and kid’s Nutella waffle (1/2 of regular size) is the best waffle I’ve tried anywhere.

Ordered an avocado toast which took quite a while to prepare (place was pretty busy) but there was close to nothing on that toast. The avocado was a very thin layer on top of a piece of toasted bread with some sprouts on top.It tasted like - nothing and for $7 I kinda expected - you know - avocado.

Unfortunately they need to check their baked goods daily. The muffin I bought was absolutely covered in mold I find it hard to believe they couldnt see it or it was the only one. Disappointed as the coffee was alright.

Ive been to Breezeway Cafe once, and the folks who run the place are sweethearts. My partner spilled his Americano, and they remade it for him, which they didnt have to do. Their portions are enormous. A side of bacon and biscuits with gravy will last you, or at least me, two meals. The Strawberry Dream was great, perfect amount of ice cream, strawberries, and breading. My only feedback is both the gravy and breading could use a little more salt, but Im sure I could ask for that next time. I wish they werent 300 miles away from where I live.

This place is new in Pismo and a little hidden! I would suggest maybe a sign out front on the pathway so when people walk by the can see what you have! My hubby and I bot got lattes and they were very good. Not bitter or burnt but just right (At least for me). We had the breakfast burrito and a waffle being that it was waffle Sunday where there waffles are 20% off all day. My hubby ate the burrito and said it was very tasty and loved the grilled outside of it. I had the waffle which was really good but it was so soft that when the fruit was put on top along with whipped cream, syrup, etc..all it did was get even more soggy. Usually waffles are crispier but maybe it’s a special recipe! I still ate it all. I can’t wait to come back for one of there bubble waffles! They look so cool!

Enjoyed the food, but the service was poor. After ordering decaf coffee and asking for Almond milk in it, the server brought our food out and and when she brought my coffee, there was no almond milk in it. I asked for some 3 times and each time she ignored me, or promised to bring it but never did. I eventually ate my breakfast and threw the coffee away.

We had breakfast here. The coffee is ok. We had the Waffel with banana and Nutella and the chicken and Waffel. Both tasted like frozen warmed up waffels and the chicken was also previously frozen. The courtyard is beautiful though. I would recommend grabbing a coffee or ice cream and enjoy the courtyard. 4 stars for not making fresh waffels!

We were gonna go to the cinnamon roll place and it was way too busy so we started walking and found breezeway cafe, we didn’t know it was here but we weren’t disappointed! The food was great, it’s a cozy place with good music and they give you huge portions. The coffee was great as well ! Definitely will be back.
