Fish and chips was fantastic. $20 (including tax and tip, about normal these days). Their tartar sauce is WAY better than anyone elses, and has a slight kick to it, making it special. Cant beat the view either. Benches, but no tables to sit and eat however.

Visited on Saturday and was served quickly. I had the sea animal fries and they were delicious! The fish and chips, are amazing too. There is little to no seating, so be prepared to eat while walking along the pier or bring chairs to sit and eat on the pier. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

4.5 stars. This is a small shack at the pier. They have a fairly extensive menu than I expected for the space. We got the Vietnamese shrimp po boy with shrimp and with tempura carrots for the veggie option, and the chilequiles. The portions were definitely filling. They presented the food in compostable boxes, which is great! The food was delicious! The sauce in the po boy had the perfect kick to it. The tempura was very light. The fries were spiced, which is always a plus. The main drawback is the lack of tables to sit. There are 3 only. The ocean view is obviously beautiful but it was a little chilly in the shade, so get a jacket. The girl at the counter was very friendly. I definitely recommend them for their food and service. You probably want to find a different place to sit and eat.

Great fish stand at the end of the pier. The fish is incredibly fresh and the flavors are impressive. The shrimp salad did still have the shell and tail on, which is an odd choice. But the shell was edible and the flavor was a nice spicy Korean bbq. The fish Sando was chargrilled just lightly, which was perfect. And the macaroni salad screamed summer. They have tables and benches to sit at. They also have water if you just need some water. The breeze is lovely. It’s an all around wonderful experience!!

Ive been waiting for this place to open! Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The food was super fresh and so good! This little gem is right next to the old ruby diner.I tried the local blue fin tuna sashimi. It was paired with pickled cucumber, yellow beets, zucchini stem, smokey stone fruit glaze, and ogo seaweed. The tuna melted in your mouth and is definitely a must try!I also had to try the seasonal salad with prawns! It was a perfect meal for a nice sunny day. The salad had mixed greens, peaches, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and smokey yuzu vinegar dressing.I loved the prawns, but if I got this again, i would try the albacore. The prawns need to be peeled, which got a little messy. If I had a place to sit and eat, this would definitely be ideal. But the peaches went so well with the shrimp! All and all the gentlemen was helpful and friendly at the cashier, and the food came quickly. What better way to enjoy the pier than fresh local catch with masterful pairing.Cant wait to be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Small place, small menu, BIG taste! And how can you beat the view at the end of the pier?! It makes for a wonderful outing. The fish sando was moist, tasty yellowtail. Perfectly dressed and seasoned. For those like my wife who aren’t fish lovers, and stay with me here… the Spam, fried egg and cheese sandwich was a huge winner! She shared two bites of it with me, and I will probably order next time; just eggy, cheesy, gooey wonderfulness. The side of Mac salad… probably the best I have ever had. It was obviously homemade.Go for a walk on the pier, and stay for the Spam!

Extremely fresh and delicious seafood! I had the seafood rice bowl, and it was fantastic. This place is takeout only so I took it down the pier and watched the surfers while I ate.

Great spot for seafood on the Oceanside Pier!! Its a small space by what used to be the Ruby Tuesdays, so theres no formal dining area, just a couple of small tables. Good food anyways

Fish and Chips made from Halibut was my choice at my initial visit to Brine Box. Enjoyed it although they charge 50 cents extra for their tartar sauce. Find a bench and enjoy lunch over the Pacific Ocean!

Sooooo good. Sooooo fresh. We’ll be back! Look at the size of the fish in the Fish and Chips. Seared tuna on point and the seasonal greens were perfect.
