Omg,this chicken tastes the best! We got the dinner with lumpia and pancit,best meal ever.The also sell broasted ribs,but they were sold out when we got there.The seating indoors not available, but even if it was,Id still take it to go.The place is busy,there were quite a few call in ahead orders. Look at the menu and call ahead, or its going to be at least a 20 minute wait for your food.
Excellent food taste. Loved the chicken, pancit and Lumpia combos. If you are in the area this place is a must try for a Filipino dish.
5 Stars for BEST fried chicken anywhere within a 40 minute radius. Great caring service. You can get cole-slaw instead of the noodles if you like. Everything was cooked to order including the chicken! Only going here for fried chicken in the future.Its only $10 per chicken plate but we also got sodas.

I dont know if they changed the formula on the pancit. But it hasnt tasted the same the past 3 times I got it. The noodles are different, its just different. It doesnt taste good. And the chicken was over cookedUpdate 2 yrs later. Decided to try it again. Not good. Really sad because this use to be my favorite spot. The new pancit style is gross. I miss the old pancit. The lumpias were stale. And the chicken isnt cooked like how it use to be. They use to have the best fried chicken out of every place Ive tried. Its now try and overcooked. God what happened to this place, did you guys stop caring about your business? Just lost a lifetime customer
Excellent pancit. The lumpia was just o/k. I still dont understand why Filipino restaurants use Chinese egg roll wrappers instead of genuine Filipino lumpia wrappers?? It makes all the difference in the world. If I wanted an egg roll, I would go to a Chinese restaurant and buy an egg roll. We got there about an hour before they closed so couldnt try the adobo because all of that food was already sold out or too late to cook more. Now lets get to the chicken. The chicken is cooked to order. It is broasted which means its lightly coated with batter and deep fried in a pressure cooker. This seals the juices in because it crisps the outside of the chicken as soon as its dropped in. It takes about 15 minutes to cook the chicken so if you think youre gonna order and walk out the door with your food, think again. Filipinos have cooked chicken this way forever and it is amazing!! All you need is a few pieces of this chicken, some pancit and steamed rice and you are good to go.

Weve come to Love the fried chicken and the various Filipino dishes that are made here: Kare Kare, adobo, panicit, lumpia and other amazing native dishes. We both grew up around Filipino friends and have come to love the food they serve. Recently we heard broasted was open on Sunday serving brunch between 10:00 and 2:00 and had to try their new Silog Plate!!! With generous portions of garlic rice, spam, longonisa, and eggs, served hot and flavorful, we had finished the plate before we even thought to take a picture. For dessert we had their famous Ube cookies that are so good we ordered 4! It was definitely a treat as we spoiled our taste buds with all the amazing flavors. Cant wait to hear what other people think about Sunday Brunch at Broasted! Well sure be back for round 2!

Delicious, great flavors the chicken is moist and crispy. The Pancit has great texture and flavor the Lumpias are equal in flavor great texture and price. I always look forward to brosted chicken. The people are kind and polite. Cook to order so time can be lengthy i recommend calling ahead.

Being new to the Asian cuisine and to port hueneme and the fried chicken I have to say that I was really impressed at this restaurant.t he chicken was cooked to perfection . The taste was delicious and for the first time I got more than one napkin to go. I also got the honeydew boba drinkAnd I can actually taste the honeydew pretty distinct. Love the fried chicken, pancit, and lumpia. This is a cozy mom and pop place, but dont let that fool you - its like your favorite auntie that can throwdown and bring you the best. I always forget to take pictures because Im so excited to eat right away, soon as its done cooking. Please call ahead. Must try and I highly recommend!
Filipino styled chicken meals with noodles and egg rolls. Mostly carryout, but they do have a few tables. Several people came in while I was there, but I was the only one to eat there. The fountain drink machine did not make ice and the soda lacked carbonation. The chicken, noodles, and egg rolls were good, but not exceptional. This is a spot for locals.

Definitely one of my stops when craving for that homecooked style fried chicken. Ive never been disappointed with the way theyve fried their chicken here. Juicy, tender and crispy everytime. Why 4 stars though? i guess the place just needs a little bit of an upgrade. Probably a little repaint and some cleaning to invite some new customers. Im pretty sure they have a lot of patrons but never hurts to attract new locals.
The best Filipino style friend Chicken in the county. Its so juicy and crunchy! They usually serve dishes with potato wedges and pan de Sol(Filipino bread). The hot sauce is a must have to flavor your chicken more. If you are a fan of Filipino style, they serve chicken with rice and lumpia, or instead of rice pancit. Its very well reasonably priced. Always call ahead of time to order for pick up. The way they cook the chicken takes longer than expected to have the quality they prefer to cook.

The broasted chicken is very good. What makes the meal is the pancit and lumpia. The only complaint I have is that they are closed on Sundays. They could also be more generous with the sauce for the lumpia.

I have been coming here for years and can attest to some of the BEST chicken in Ventura County! Maybe its not the Taj Majal, but its a comfortable little hole in the wall that will continue getting my business. I know you will be hooked too, once you try it!
Food was good, but the place itself was dirty. Floors were sticky, the tables were greasy and had crumbs. Place was empty when I got there. So I dont think theres any excuse not to clean the place at least before another customer comes in. Makes me think twice about how the kitchen might be.
I was told it would take 15-20 minutes for my order and 30 minutes later i was finally out the door. I got home (2 minutes drive) and realized it was the wrong order after rummaging through the bag. When i took it back, the lady behind the counter actually attempted to immediately reserve the food i just brought back from my house to another customer and got angry with me when I reminded her that was a food safety violation. 😣
I enjoyed the pancit I ate and the service was quick and easy. My order was to go, so it was warm even when I got home. Still enjoying the generous portion.

2023-07-26 15:03:48Contrary to the name, this restaurant also serves great Philipino food! Came here by chance, because the place we were going was closed, but very glad we ended up here. Had chicken, pancit, lumpias, and empanadas. Everything was delicious, large portions, and very low prices. We will definitely come back next time were in the area.

My own mom tried her hand at it a couple of times, and... well... it was OK.This place? This place takes me back. Its great! The place itself is not much. Just a little hole in the wall, with only seating for about 16 people inside. But man, is the food great! We get it to go most often, but havent had anything here yet that wasnt fantastic! And comparatively speaking, its cheap compared to most fast food joints these days!Give it a try. I doubt youll be disappointed! Just try to get there at least before 7, as they stop making pancit at 7p, and sometimes there isnt any. Enjoy!

Theyre locally known for their chicken and lumpia.They were friendly and accommodating when I visited. I purchased my food at lunch time but didnt get a chance to eat it until 3pm. At that time, the lumpia was not crispy anymore. I wish I had just eaten it right away! The chicken is good and the Pancit too.I love that they are a mom and pop place and most importantly because they represent our heritage especially in these neck of the woods!

2023-06-22 04:29:32Just try this place; it is such an easily overlooked hole in the wall spot, but you would be missing out if you chose Subway or Wendys. I dont like fried chicken very much and am very picky about it, but broasted chicken is my exception. I love the crispy skin on the outside and juicy meat inside. The meals with pancit noodles and lumpia is just icing on the cake. Their hot sauce is way better than Franks red hot, and I would put that $*** on everything. The workers are always so nice both in the kitchen and register. They have specials on certain days of the week, which I have not been fortunate enough to try; however, my coworker raves on the adobo.
