I was very surprised with the quality of the ingredients along with the presentation of our food. The menu is simple and easy to navigate all of the great choices of hamburgers in Polish sausage dishes that you could ever wish for. One thing that made me really happy was the fact that the burgers actually look like the picture on the menu board lol, I was surprised that they did not ask you which way you would like your hamburger to be prepared but it looks like the burgers are prepared medium to medium well which still made for a juicy hamburger with good flavor. The tater tots were a great side for me personally because regardless of how old you get there is nothing wrong with a good crispy outside with a soft inside tater tot, from what we had for our lunch we were not disappointed and were very happy for the money we spent. This was a great getaway from the normal stash of tourist trap restaurants in Pismo Beach, not only is the restaurant not too far from the main drag it is connected to good shopping along with Tesla supercharging as well as CCS charging for all other electric vehicles. This was really handy because as a Evie owner you can have a great meal while you are charging your vehicle. This restaurant is a must-have and definitely worth the stop, so dont delay and give them a try today.

Wings were yum!I opted for their house burger on sour dough despite a varied selection . Presentation did not match the the taste and flavor. Id rather have a meh looking burger with a pop of flavor than a good looking burger that tastes subpar. Had the option for split regular fries and sweet potato fries on the large order of fries.Service was friendly.Great stop if you are outlet shopping.

Stopped in while in town visiting family. I had the tri tip dip 🤯 it was just what you’d expect. Great cut of meat with Swiss, mushrooms, and grilled onions. Service was friendly and fast. Unlimited fountain drinks, pickle and pepper bar, and nice seating area. All around great experience.

Excellent place to grab a burger. Straight forward menu, no gimmick. Can get a little saucy, though balanced and still able to taste the meat. Crispy things (esp tots and bacon) are crispy. The wings are decent, crunchy but dry.

Very delicious burgers and sandwiches (Big Bird - chargrilled chicken, grilled onion, avocado, Applewood bacon, lettuce and tomato with Colby jack cheese and sourdough bread). You gotta try the onion rings, which was very crispy. Burger bun was super soft and delicious. It was quite crowded on a weekday during lunch time. I recommend this place for a quick bite. You wont be disappointed. I ordered my burger well-done.

2nd time back for the Tri Tip Dip-THE most tender, juicy, flavorful, yummy au jûs sandwich! Truly award winning! Tots are crispy and, well, tots! However, (and Im not taking any stars away) the Cheeseburger and Drink item was rather disappointing as far as patty size, thickness, bite. I would almost guess if they ran out of house formed patties and used pre-packaged, pre-formed, run of the mill burger. The bite was on the tough, chewy side. As a whole it was flavorful for the Boss Sauce yet the size of a Jr. Burger at Jack in the Box. (Sorry!) But the tri tip dip? You MUST try!

Updating review. Had the regular cheeseburger. Staff were spectacular. Delicious! I had the black and blue burger. I asked for it medium and it was perfect. Friends had the salad with tri tip. For those who want high-end hamburgers in Pismo Beach, and arguably southern California, brooks burgers is the place. The Golden State burger with eggs, bacon and so much more did more than please.The burger thrilled my taste buds while yonder I saw the golden arches of McDonalds from my seat, there is absolutely no comparison between the two. Brooks burgers makes real burgers, McDonalds makes something in the shape of a burger.

Stopped for one night in Pismo Beach en route to LA tomorrow. First time over this way from the UK and wanted to find places we wouldn’t find back home. Staying next door at The Grove Motel, and checked out the reviews of Brooks. Excellent reviews and I have to echo them as the Black Bean burger was incredible. So juicy and tasty, so thanks to all who left similar reviews before - would recommend this place. Very accommodating and friendly staff - if you’re in the neighbourhood check this place out. 👍🍺🍔

I love the grilled chicken on sourdough. My husband had a burger that he wolf down super quick. The sweet potato side is yummy. The service is great, place is clean and the vibe is good! There is a restroom but I didn’t use it so I can’t comment. Will definitely recommend

Came in from a long road trip, super hungry. I got the Bacon Jam Burger, my husband got the Golden State Burger and tots. Everything came out absolutely delicious, and quickly. We will definitely make this a stop everytime we come to town.

The food was pretty great. I really enjoyed my chicken, jalapeño sandwich. It had a decent kick of heat and flavors were on point. Their strawberry lemonade was excellent as well. They serve beer for those interested. The one down side was there was a black hair baked into my first chicken sandwich. I noticed it immediately, before taking a bite and tried to pull it out but it was baked into the breading. The restaurant replaced it immediately. It was very off putting and made me question whether people were wearing hairnets. If that hadn’t happened I would definitely go back. It was enough to put me off to being a return customer.

This is my new favorite spot at the coast. Burgers are flavorful, juicy and accompanied by the best sauces, toppings and bun. The tator tots were so crispy and seasoned to perfection. Great place for the whole family. The menu is creative and everything sounds amazing on it. Not to mention, the service was awesome. Very friendly.

2 Big boy cheeseburgers with crinkle cut fries, chocolate shake, vanilla shake, crispy chicken sandwich, and tots $38. Burgers were huge reminds me of homemade. Spot on burger... If youre looking for a burger that isnt super fancy but cares about quality, this is the place.This casual dining restaurant starts you off by ordering right as you walk in. There arent too many items to choose from (hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, chili, fries), so it wont take you long to choose from. They have what youd expect from a good burger joint, classic cheese burger, bbq bacon, Hawaiian, etc but they also included a burger special thats just a bit different.Since Im dairy free, Im missing out on the cheese, which adds a lot of flavor and saltiness to meat. However, they way they seasoned the meat was fantastic and was darn right delicious. I also got a side of fries and sweet potato fries. The normal fries didnt do me any favors, they were over seasoned and a bit too soft. However the sweet potato fries were off the hook! They were cooked well, with a crispness that screams greatness.They have a great selection of beers and to my surprise they had a California cider (interesting enough called Brooks), which went well with burger. I also appreciated that they offered the burger lettuce wrapped for those wanting gluten free.The only thing I didnt like is 1) the lack of parking. However, there is plenty of parking at the outlets but its not obvious you can park there 2) youre not going to get any service beyond ordering your food. I get this style of restaurant but I like being super lazy and have the food brought to me. Then I feel better about leaving a tip.Overall this is a great place to grab a burger, fries and a beer.

I am local and tried Brooks burgers for the first time after hearing that it was a top contender of central coast burgers. Sadly I was disappointed. I ordered a burger that was one of the most expensive that was suppose to come with avocado. There was a sad half smashed spoonful of avocado on my burger. It was way overpriced for what you get. I would definitely not come back. I would suggest in n out for better quality and flavor town or Sylvester’s for a top notch burger experience.

The burger itself was kind of dry and lacked any condiments.It was good, dont get me wrong, but it was just lacking. I dunno maybe its just not my jam. Cool restaurant otherwise.

Tough call. We went because of the reviews. First off there were 5 people in the back and one person in the front taking orders. Im usually very understanding. Ordering was tough. The girl didnt know nor wanted to know the answers to our questions since it was our first time. Asking a simple question like what bread is on the tri tip sandwich was to hard for her. Then she just said yes its sourdough when I was naming off breads. No it was not .. She didnt ask anyone but gave us idk and Im not sure to every question we asked pretty much. The burgers were ok. The tri tip was actually really good by itself. I would suggest a sourdough if they read this review. Now... The sides were on point. Fries, onion rings and the tots were crispy. My big double burger had all of the toppings but wasnt impacted with favor like I was expecting. And must try the strawberry lemonade. Just be sure to expect a meal but not your mind blown.

One of the best local burgers Ive ever had. The burgers are always cooked to perfection. You can tell they take pride in every meal that leaves their kitchen. The flavors of each ingredient comes through in every bite. It is my goal now to try everything on the menu. So far weve tried the Brooksy BBQ burger, The Big Kahuna, the Golden State Burger and the California Kid Burger. Be sure to make your burger a combo and add a drink with either the tots or the sweet potato fries to really make your mouth happy. You really cant go wrong when you eat here. I highly recommend Brooks Burgers.

The burgers were decent, we definitely are a fan but we have beef with the amount of fries they give you. The picture below is what my fries look like without me eating any. I dont know what they have against giving people fries but its happened like this three times so I decided to take a photo. Its always run by kids that are more interested and talking to each other then doing their job but what can you do in this economy right? The burgers were absolutely phenomenal! Juicy and seasoned well, and the toppings can really add to an astounding, tasty burger. The sweet potato fries were also exceptional! My only gripe is that the shakes are a little too runny for my life, probably because they use soft serve ice cream. But the customer service was also great and friendly - definitely recommend!

Their food is delicious! I had their Tri-Tip Dip and it was amazing. Think French Dip sandwich but Tritip. The parking situation is a little less to be desired, but you can manage. Its a one way route for safety. However, you can park across the street for convenience. There are EV chargers available across the street as well.

Good burgers and fries. Havent tried anything except the single cheeseburger combo. Dont need to, its great. It comes with a burger, fries, and a drink. Their unique hook is the Boss Sauce they put on the burgers. Its a tangy, creamy sauce with a hint of smokiness (maybe from smoked paprika?) They have a condiment bar so you can add pickles, peppers, onions, etc. They have the usual Coke fountain as well as strawberry lemonade and iced tea. They also offer milkshakes.The owner is a sincere, hardworking guy who makes every effort to satisfy his customers. This is reflected in the quality and consistency of the food.My biggest complaint is the ambience. The acoustics are terrible. Its impossible to hear anyone speak and that makes ordering difficult. The music is too loud and bounces around the room making it hard to have a conversation at the table.Lots of indoor seating, a few outdoor tables.Their parking lot is limited and can be difficult during busy times. Bathrooms are always clean.Fairly easy to find. Tucked between a Shell gas station and a motel right near the Nike store in the Pismo Outlets.

I ate here when the restaurant first opened and was disappointed but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was their first couple of months and they were new. I come again years later and I am still disappointed. The burger was dry and had no flavor, just meat with no salt. There was no mayo, no bomb sauce or any kind of condiment on the burger itself so it was just dry dry dry. The bun, my god the bun was dry and it fell apart as soon as took the first bite. Are they using old buns cause im sure this happens when you leave your buns in the freezer for too long, like months in the freezer, its the only thing I can guess as to what happened because I make my own bread myself and freeze it when I want to preserve them. However after months in the freezer they become more brittle and are prone to falling apart as well as becoming dry.The tomato and lettuce provided the only moisture and it came with one sad sliver of avocado. I understand that inflation is on the rise, but if your charging for avocado the price of a whole avocado it would be nice to get at least a half or quarter of the avocado. The portions of fries is so skimpy and my fries looked as if there were rements of the previous bag of frozen fries, they were almost all 1 inch with the exception of the top 3 fries which were 2 or 3 inches in length. Just saying there could have been more and better quality. The only saving grace is the onion rings that are delicious and well seasoned. Next time Ill save my money by going to In and Out instead. Or just get Onion rings and then go to In and Out for the burger.

Absolutely love coming to Brooks Burgers. They are only offering takeout right now due to the pandemic but it was quick and easy to order and they were all following the proper mask and glove guidelines mandated by the county. We were greeted by Nina who made us feel welcome when we entered and took our order. Everyone was really friendly and the burgers, fries and tater tots were really delicious! The strawberry lemonade is my favorite and what I always look forward to having when we go, it tastes amazing! We didnt wait more than 10 minutes for our food and will definitely be back again. Finally decided to come into this place after having passed by it multiple times. Goodness, am I glad I did. The burgers here are juicy and delicious. Normally I am a French fry kinda guy. This place has some of my favorite burgers on the Central coast. Burgers are packed with toppings and served with a side of delicious fries (Recommend Ranch with them). It’s a casual sit down restaurant and they do take out as well.Parking here is extremely limited and you’ll be hard pressed to find parking in their lot during peak hours. If the lot is full I’ll usually park at the adjacent shopping center near the Tesla chargers.While all of the food I’ve had here has been exceptional, their strawberry lemonade (self serve) is AMAZING. Our family and I made it our mission to only eat local here on this trip to Pismo. I couldnt be more happy upon stumbling on this place after an afternoon of shopping. They close to early and the charge a 3.5% take out fee on an already overpriced meal. They charge $19.62 for a burger, fries and a drink. The burger meat was about 1/4in thick and all vegetables. They make plenty of money for what they charge the take out fee is a slap in the face. Usually for what they charge you get a half pound burger there are better places downtown I would suggest going there instead.

I haven’t ever been to the restaurant before, so I asked what they recommended. The girl even behind a mask was visibly annoyed at my question. I ate at Brooks for the first time last week. I had the Hawaiian burger with the pineapple. Some teriyaki sauce came in a little cup on the side. The burger itself was cooked to perfection but a couple bites I took without the teriyaki sauce were pretty bland as if the meat itself was not seasoned. It definitely needed the sauce to give it a little flavor. I dont think I would order that particular burger again but I would definitely try some of the others because the ones that my tablemates ordered looked pretty awesome. The sweet potato fries were really good. My husband ordered the tri-tip sandwich and that thing was massive. he said it was really good and had good flavor unlike some tri-tip sandwiches hes had at other places. The childrens chicken strip meal looked like it was a really good value. It came with big pieces of chicken. Everyone was friendly and helpful there. We will definitely be going back. Came into town for the weekend, mother inlaw suggested Brookes for lunch- I got a Big Kahuna with bacon, about 4 bites in I GET A 2-3 INCH DARK HAIR hanging out of my burger. I was literally able to show my wife and mother in law this hair hanging out of my burger. I was really disgusted and will never eat there again.

What a great burger joint tucked behind the outlets. For food at the coast you cant beat the price. They have a burger combo for less than 10 dollars. This place doesnt have seafood, but it has great burgers, fries, salads, and crispy chicken sandwich. The parking lot is deceivingly small. You can ea as ily park across the street and walk in, where there are tables as well as seating along the edges at a bar-style set up. We came in with a group of 15 and the food came out quick and hot. I would definitely come here again.

If I were to give a review based solely on the the burger, I would have given a 5 star. We ordered onion rings with our burger. They gave us the shoestring fried onions they put on the burgers. We went and ordered fries since that wasnt doing it for us. When we went to pick up our fry order, I asked for ketchup. They said they ran out of ketchup. How do you not stock up your provisions for Labor day weekend? Looks like some thought and effort needs to go into this place.

Excellent food and service. We had a party of 6 and everything was cooked perfect and very timely for a busy time. Brooks is my favorite burger on the Central Coast. Simple, good food with great value and service.

The food was good cheap and big. Looks like they just opened a little bit ago. The owner came around and was checking on customers really nice guy. The tatter tots where so good! happy to see this back on the menu anywhere. Also they have beer! And wine if thats your thing.

Stop here if you’re hungry for some burgers or tri-tips sandwiches. Delicious, fresh. The Brooks Salad w/Chicken was great. Lettuce and veggies were fresh and chicken right off the grill. Great pit stop if you’re passing through the Central Coast.

I just had their Big Kahuna Burger... damn that was a tasty burger, best burger honestly that I have eaten in years. Perfectly cooked, pink in the center, onions were glossy and not over cooked like at in-and-out, pineapple was grilled and loaded with sauce. I am stuffed... but I still wanna go back and get another one, and at $6.50 I totally can... if I could move...

Best burger on the Central Coast! Several uniquely crafted burger choices on the menu. They also have salads and sandwiches. Cant comment on them however as I cant stop getting the burgers. Usually cooked to medium and topped with an egg these burgers are an experience with every penny.

A hidden gem. The Jam burger was to die for. Just the right char on the edges, moist and so flavorful. The shroom burger was equally as good, my sister said it’s one of the best she’s had! We were passing through escaping the toxic air in the Bay Area but will definitely be back to this spot on our next trip to the central coast.

The burgers and shakes here are pretty good, a decent amount better than in n’ out for comparison. The restaurant can get really loud when it’s busy due to its relatively small size, but it wasn’t a big deal.

If you are looking for a great burger, look no further. We had the bacon jam burger with tater tots and it was delicious. They also have some burger extras available for you to add for free--onions, pickles, jalapenos, etc. Great service as well. The only downside to this place is the parking.

The cheese burger I had was insanely good. It was big, juicy, and messy. I liked the soft bun, cheese that was completely melted over the patty, and the BOSS sauce dripping over the sides. The fries are ok, but I did like the seasoning that was on it.

If you want a great burger..okay, really great burger or a tri tip sandwich, this is where you want to eat. Delicious food and the staff are always courteous. The tri-tip is melt in your mouth tender, which is really hard to find. Yes, Ill be back here to eat.

Burgers here were delicious. The staff was freakin nice too.I broke my Low Carb diet and it was so worth it. Comparable burgers are 15 dollars in Los Angeles, with no fries and no drink. If you are complaining about the prices, suck it up buttercup; go to McDonalds.

The burger i had was quite tasty, though a bit fall-apart-y. Wait time was long, though it was during the dinner rush, so its understandable. Prices were okay, about 8-12 dollars for a sandwich/burger and fries.
