Excellent service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere. What makes this place so special is that they use actual real charcoals - not gas. (This place is NOT related to the Brothers BBQ in LA. They don’t use charcoal.)What I love about this place is the quality of the meat. They use the best meats. And the charcoals add the smoky juicy flavor.The servers were friendly and professional, fast and experienced. Side dishes were great! Everything was perfect. I would definitely go back.

I recently tried this Korean BBQ gem in Orange County, and it totally wowed me. The food (we ordered the Non-Marinated Beef Ribs) was absolutely incredible. It was cooked with charcoal to perfection, juicy, and bursting with flavor – top-notch ingredients for sure. The beef is, I think, of the highest grade.And the staff was super friendly and helped us with the grilling every step of the way. It made the whole experience a blast.I strongly recommend this place for an amazing dining experience. Its all about the top-quality beef and top-tier service. Cant wait to go back for another delicious meal!

A nostalgic atmosphere for 50+ yr old Koreans to reminisce tough times from the past and drink soju.For real - middle age Koreans really do gravitate towards haphazardly put together interior that reminds tough times of the past and this is that restaurant. A no frills atmosphere with wood fire mini grills to cook at your table. Food pricing is about $40-50/plate for beef. I usually get the unmarinated ribs - its OK.Service is very little - you are pretty much on your own at this little hole in the wall restaurant - and you have to ask for everything.

All the meat are delicious, especially the staff grilled the meat for us. I feel more comfortable eating the meat grilled by the staff than doing it myself. The staffs were very kind to our baby and little children too.

This was our first stop when our plane landed here in LA! The food cant be beat for Korean BBQ! The bulgogi!! 🤤 And the staff!! The staff, we are just in love with! After a little over a year of being back here for a visit, Jayden recognized us right away and welcomed us back warmly! Wed eat there every day if we could! Its just the best place to eat amazing food, drink some soju n laugh with friends!! 🦄 🫰🏻

This place is Korean favorite, and it lived up to its reputation. The servers were incredibly friendly, and skillfully grilling the meat for us. As far as I know this place is the only charcoal KBBQ place Im familiar with, the smoky flavor is truly EXCEPTIONAL. I ordered ggot sal, galbi and ribeye—all were BOMB.I have visited many different KBBQ restaurants, this place stands out as the most authentic and delightful. If youre seeking a genuine KBBQ experience, this is the place for you. I will definitely come back here.

This place BBQ thier meat on a steel grill and over a wooden charcoal fire. The taste of the meat is more superb to me grilling on 🪵. The not marinated beef rib is bomb with salt. If you like flavor better eat the marinated one. The only downfall is the side dishes, which they can work on.

The price is high,too expensive!!!Even the beef meat quality is good,but 2 person we spend 100 !I only ate two plate beef meat...I am still feel so hungry,only can ate the vegetables salad and very so so side dishes to let my belly full.We didnt get good service maybe we r not old customer? She just put our meats to grill but very quick go away. but all other tables of older clientele or Korean people seemed to get all the service .We werent getting. had to ask for every little thing.I dont want come again.... really so sad!!!

Highly recommended. The price is very expensive (typically $50 per person), but the quality of the meats are second to none. They also use charcoal which gives the meat very good flavor. If youre looking for AYCE, look elsewhere. The restaurant isnt very big (a few tables inside and patio tables), but I havent had to wait very long the times Ive been.

I dont usually review Korean restaurants but this one i have to say. They serve food based on head count, it doesnt matter how much you ordered. Which made me think should I pay my tips based on my head count? Also it was super expensive, didnt bring waters, only one of the waitress was nice and rest was absolutely trash. Food was good but very low low portion. Just dont go this place you will have bad experience

The best Korean BBQ in LA.The superb quality meats grilled on charcoals which gives meat unbeatable flavor. I always visit with friends when I am in LA.(Charcoal grills not only smoke meats better than gas, they also release a chemical called guaiacol. Guaiacol is an aroma compound that gives meat a smoky flavor, and it only comes from wood and charcoal.)

Service is decent despite how busy it was. Seemed to be a translation issue. When asked if weve been here before, we said no. This was taken as these people have never had KBBQ so lets hover over the table and cook everything for them. Lady was still nice about it but we had it covered.Not an all you can eat KBBQ. There were no chicken or seafood options and no vegetarian ones. Just beef and pork cuts. Meat was very high quality however. They use coal instead of gas to cook which is cool.

I havent seen a place that use real charcoal to grill high quality meat. The store may seem old and dirty, but food here is fresh and very high quality. You can eat outside yard but if you find hard time eating with some flies flying around, stay inside 😔Price is about 30 dollars per person, but its worth every single penny.

Worst experience ever. I asked for water and it never came. I had to ask again to get a water. We got a wrong meat which I never ordered. The server changed it. No big deal. The server did not even come to our table not even once during entire time we have been there. We finished our meal and waited for check. We waited for 15 mins and still the server did not came to our table. I asked for check and iI was charged for wrong table. I asked for refund, and the server said cant void or print out anything due to holiday. He said he will call me back. I paid more than $100 for two person and I got treated like I was in the food court.

Stay away from this place if you plan to eat an hour or so before they close. We were rudely turned away by a server saying they were ‘closed’, even though it was before 8pm and they close at 9, on a Saturday night! We called 30 minutes prior to arriving, then drove 40+ miles only to be turned away. They weren’t even busy. Absolutely ridiculous. Never going back.

The best Korean BBQ in North America hands down!Huge feast of different meats for eight with a dozen big bottles of OB beer came to just over two Benjamins = Bonus.But the food is seriously excellent. Just go!Warning: do not wear fancy clothes, or plan on going anywhere nice after the meal. You will smell like the mesquite fired beef and pork party that you are.

My coworker tipped this location off to me as one of the authentic Korean barbeque restaurants, and I can’t really argue with the enjoyable dining experience. Warning: no air conditioning, limited parking lot, crowding at dinner time.There are several differences between this traditional Korean Bbq restaurant and the mainstream ones like Quarters.1. The grill is coal powered, and the server will bring a coal chimney-like device to your table after you order food. You can feel the heat from your seat2. The beef fat from the ribs are used to lubricate the griddle, which is a convex dome. Cool design!3. The servers cook the food for you to medium-rare quality. The food was devour for us before it could cook longer.The quality of the meat was definitely high tier, but the pricing blurs the line between superior- and comparable-grade meat when compared to other high-end Korean BBQrestaurants like Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong. While the food was definitely delicious, the pricing was equally vexing. Why do good things have to be expensive? If you don’t mind the Korean BBQ jive (persistent odor afterwards, cooking smoke in your face, the cooking heat), then this is a great place for a celebration.

I visited here yesterdayI want to eat whole ribs over charcoal.It’s a really good restaurant, admit, admit, admit ☆☆☆☆☆The taste of the side dishes and seasoning were appropriate. Refilled 3 timesI ate it. I kept refilling it to the point where I felt sorry.I think so. The meat felt like chewing a tire, the price is incredibly high, all the food seems to be old and expired. Its been an hour since we came... Its okay to ask that weve come from afar. And I did the calculation first. Two women (one hardly ate) and one man, 304 dollars.We left at 8:15.I can understand why the customer was cut off early...
