Restaurant with excellent prices and portions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had their waffle and breakfast combo, and then tried their banh mi later for lunch; everything was delicious. Their menu is a mix of Vietnamese and American fare. Staff is friendly, and the food is tasty. Thanks for having me!

Straight fire. What an awesome little spot.I spent a couple hours here waiting for my mom.The vibes were good, and great portion sizes for super reasonable prices. Everything looked well presented and fresh. The interior was clean. The service was friendly. Thank you! 🫶🏻

The first time I visited Bubbaloo Cafe was almost eight years ago (July 2015). My husband and I usually dont travel to Richmond from Alameda. I was supposed to meet several of my friends for lunch here. They did not show up, so I ordered lunch to go for my husband and me.Specialties: breakfast, burgers, salads, appetizers, Asian fusion plate meals.Appetizer: lumpia with sweet chili sauce.Eats: Panko shrimp with French fries and beef teriyaki, rice and green salad topped with thousand island salad dressing.The owners are Gio and his wife. They are friendly and eager to please. Customer service is quick and very good.I have been away from Bubbaloo Cafe far too long. I almost forgot how tasty and delicious the food is. Before I forget, Bubbaloo stops serving breakast at 2:00 PM. Get the huevos rancheros. Description of that breakfast sounds good to me.

We strolled with our dogs by Point Richmond Marina, spotted a sign saying Hungry?, and happily followed it to the restaurant. The fish and chips we ordered were generously portioned and reasonably priced. With pet-friendly outdoor seating and friendly service, it was a great experience. Well return to try their breakfast menu soon!

The kids and I dodged in to get out of the rain and the wind, and... Yum!Im told their hot chocolate was delicious, and actually hot. I had a similar experieence with their coffee. I had the Loco Moco which is a (salisbury?/ground beef?) steak served over rice with two freid eggs on top. The eight and the ten year old both had chicken strips. The 12 year old had a bacon cheeseburger. We spent the entire meal carrying on about how great the food was!There was plenty of outdoor seating that still managed to be out of the rain and wind. The folks that work there are really nice, and theyre open in the mornings.

Discovered this spot while at the lace cutting for the new ship administration from Richmond to SF. Soooo goood. Quick administration and extraordinary staff. I requested the cob serving of mixed greens. It was dinner new and scrumptious. I just wish I had gotten some information about their dressings as they had a rich cilantro dressing that people kept grabbing. My collaborators got the hot ham and cheddar and the blue cheddar burger. One moved up to the stacked fries! It may be my determination when I am back in the zone. Whats more, perhaps suffocate them in the cilantro dressing. They likewise eat and an incredible espresso choice. Eminently a frosted Vietnamese espresso

Ive had good burgers and Ive had bad burgers. This one was pretty bad. Ordered the Bubbaloo and it had no flavor on the patty, it was overcooked, and i nearly choked because of how dry it was. I couldve made a better burger. Overpriced and not worth it

I had the hankering for a hunk of beef, soo I called in my order of the Bubbaloo burger & fries. Which was delicious. I would give this place 5 stars but the location & days open cause me some grief. Let me explain, I was introduced & treated to dinner here by a friend for helping her with some chores. I enjoyed the burger. I decided to take the long drive out there one day to impress my wife, but was surprised they were closed. My bad, I guess I should have checked their schedule.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR LUNCH!! The students from the nearby school make this place an absolute nightmare. There are policies for the students to not be in the cafe until after 3pm but the students dont care and the staff dont enforce it.Other than that, this place is great. The food is good and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend trying to come here for brunch instead. If youre looking for lunch options, there are other places nearby that are just as good without the circus.

Shrimp fried too hard and dry. 5 out 8 are always near simply burnt. Fries and dipping sauce and workers were ok/nice. It bothers me paying for someone else to burn my food. Overall I like them and will be going back .

Don’t order the fish and chips; I ordered it and the fish was obviously old; it smelled of decay even though it was seasoned and fried. I couldn’t believe they would serve that to anybody. Their Asian dishes and burgers are good.

They NEVER EVER answer the phone for Togo orders.Would be more stars if they did. Even tried calling them while sitting waiting for my order just to see. I would get it if they were super busy but; Nobody in line, 2 employees chatting, phone ringing... They didnt care. Terrible. My coworkers and I have talked about it several times. We all skip quite often because we always get Togo... And were just 6 people. I wonder how much business theyre actually losing from others as well. Must be nice not to need to make those sales. Excellent Bahn-Mi sandwich! Perfect blend of tangy and spicy sauce, juicy chicken, crunchy fresh cuke, silky avocado, slaw, tomato and fresh roll. Just the right take out lunch on a beautiful day to enjoy overlooking the bay near by.Everything else on the menu looked great so Ill have to come back and sample other offerings soon.

I HIGHLY recommend stopping here for breakfast! I would have gone every morning that we were visiting California if i could have.The caramel macchiato was incredible and wow was the Burrito HUGE and so so so good, even their bagels were amazing... And i mean a plain bagel with plain cream cheese was to die for. The price was extremely reasonable and service was great. If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would cause it was that great, they even are close to the marine for a great view to catch after breakfast.

Panko crusted shrimp was just okay. Pretty bland, probably the most disappointing battered, deep fried shrimp I’ve had. The fries were not even worth eating. Undercooked and not crispy, just tasted like raw sliced potatos. Asked for cheese fries and got fries with non-melted cheese on top. Atmosphere was nice, though every chair was uncomfortable and the “couch” chairs looked like they hadn’t been washed in my lifetime. Looks like a popular spot so I assume there are other dishes they do better, but I will not return to find out.

My experience was pretty schizophrenic. The kitchen dishes were from just to many cuisines to provide confidence and the restaurant was split between a nice dining area without views and a very unfinished looking one with views. That said, the vietnamese sandwich I had was good (although not Sunset District good).

Good local cafe. In addition to burgers, sandwiches and salads, they also offer a few traditional Vietnamese dishes (the owners also own a Vietnamese Restaurant by the park) and my favorite go to dish Fish-N-Chips with a generous portion of fries. The Fish-N-Chips are done well.

Bubbaloo Cafe is a nice little gem near the marina in Richmond. The food is fresh, and the location is easy to get to. I come to Bubbaloo anytime Im in Richmond for business. Ive had the bacon and pastrami sandwich, the bento, and a burger a few times. I always get the salad as a side with their house made cilantro dressing. This is also a great place for really well done coffee drinks. If you are in the marina its only a short walk to the Cafe and the area is never too busy. For as rough as the surrounding area can be its fairly quite here.

Theyve got ono grindz here, and make a really good loco moco (Ive been on a loco moco crawl recently). Generous portion of beef patty, eggs cooked to order and a delicious brown gravy poured over it all. Sheer comfort food. There was a bit too much rice for me so my dogs got a little extra treat in their bowls. acWith your purchase, you can also get a pass to the Columbia/Mountain Hardwear Employee Store - just remember to ask. Ordered at the door, ready within ten minutes. Covid protocols are in place. While I was waiting in my car for my order, I noticed a lot of essential workers ordering and picking up a hot lunch. In that neck of the woods, there are very few options. So glad they are there.

I went to the Bubbaloo Cafe for thr first time this week. The menu items sound very tasty and I actually ordered and enjoyed rhe lumpia. However it was the attitude of the cashier/server that was very disheartening to me. I have never met this young lady in my entire life, the only words I said to her was what I was ordering from the menu. She gave me the stink face as I was ordering, while I waited for my order and when I picked it up. I was perturbed. I will never go to this place again and I will be telling all of my coworkers not to also. She is the wrong person to have handling customers. She is the young brown skinned girl.

Ive never eaten banh mi until I ordered the banh mi with chicken at Bubbalou Cafe. I find myself thinking back and wanting this sandwich, too bad its clear across the country from me! If youre in the area, GO, its well worth it. The location is in a business park which leads me to believe they arent typically inundated with tourists, we prefer to fit in with the locals when were on vacation, so this was a great place for us to eat.
