Great food and drinks, their meat and side dishes, and burgers are really good. I recommend the bubba mac burger for burger fans and the brisket + kielbasa sausage for the meat plate.

Absolutely delicious! We visited the area for a quick stay cation from Long Beach. Found your establishment and I swear the food the drinks the service. All 100 Grand! Quick SummaryGreat barbecue in a dive bar/brewery spot. Would recommend the Bubbas Feast to try multiple proteins and sides. My favorites were the pulled pork and brisket.Food- 5 starsWe got lucky and they gave us extra meat on the Bubbas Feast. Also tried the Korean Ribs and Blue Cheese ChipsBlue Cheese chips- these were good and I loved them because Im a huge blue cheese fanKorean ribs- these were good but pretty standard. Really great place with really yummy food and excellent service. Sports bar meets BBQ, spit ‘n sawdust feeling. Mac n cheese egg roll and loaded sidewinder fries with chicken. We’ll be back! The crispy dishes were even better dining in then when we ordered for delivery in the past.

I went to Bubba’s last week based on the Yelp 4.5 Star Ratings! I have enjoyed BBQ for over 55 years. My meal at Bubba’s was the worst I have experienced during those years. I ordered the 2 meat plate - Ribs @ Brisket with coleslaw.The ribs in attempting to cut them apart, tore apart instead. The consistency in 2-3 of the ribs felt like I had sawdust in my mouth. Indeed, if i tried sawdust smothered in BBQ sauce, the sawdust may well have tasted better. There was one slice of brisket - Somewhat fatty but very dry, as the BBQ sauce didn’t help very much.In short, a disastrous meal - It is inconceivable that Bubba’s has earned a 4.5 Star Rating on Yelp!

Some of the best food from our vacation! Their cornbread (without jalapeños) might have been some of the best cornbread we’ve ever had. We got their asian zing wings, fish & chips, mac & cheese, and their spiciest burger. Their wings had a good spice to them and they fell RIGHT OFF the bone! they were amazing. I absolutely loved the batter to fish ratio on the fish & chips. My dad LOVES spicy and this burger gave him a run for his money which he was so happy about, so you have to have a good spice tolerance for it! I don’t know what it was about the mac & cheese but it complimented everything so perfectly, i couldn’t stop eating it.

Friendly service. I was suggested brisket and ordered a brisket sandwich, my wife had the pulled pork and chicken tacos. The slaw accompanied with the tavos and sandwich was really good! My wife enjoyed her tacos and my brisket sandwich was very tasty. Totally recommend this location even we happened to near it and was loo for a quick lunch spot.

Ribs and brisket were smothered in BBQ sauce but you have 4 different sauces at the table? Ribs were under cooked, Mac was soggy, corn was soggy, brisket was ok, the waitress said they smoke the ribs but theyre definitely oven cooked.Why smother it BBQ sauce if youre confident in your rub and smoking skills.Will never eat here again. I never complain, that is how terrible the food was.Service gets a 2 because the waitress without asking took the ribs off the bill.

Big thank you to yelpers you did not disappoint for high yelp for Bubba. So, with good ratings we dine here at bubba after a long day visiting Joshua tree. We were greeted and seated. Our server MARISSA was very friendly. The food was delicious and very generous on portions. We got there at their happy hour so we got the burgers (oohh so juicy), loaded potatoes with briskets (crunchy potatoes and loaded with yummy smoky chop brisket), chicken wings, brisket sandwich (very generous on portions). The restaurant is clean and kid friendly. This place is a hidden gem. Must try.

As a Kansas City native I do have to approach bbq critically- Bubba’s isnt the best bbq you’ll ever have but it definitely gets the job done. It was flavorful and the portions were generous. They have four diverse choices of bottled bbq sauces to add and they were delicious.

We were here last Sunday night & were so disappointed. Nothing like our previous visit which I rated a 5. We are vacationing here from Wisconsin & were happy to find a BBQ in the Desert & decided to go back The service was poor & our Pulled Pork Sandwiches were so soggy on the bottom you couldnt pick it up. The flavor was fine & the meat was tender. We sat in the bar area & noticed our order was sitting quite awhile before it was served to us. Also I ordered without fries & I was told I wouldnt be charged & was, so had to deal with that. It was hard to try to flag someone down to pay our bill. Would I go back, maybe, but I would mention our experience first.

Nice spot for happy hour. My wife and I are in town for a quick spring trip now that we are vaccinated. We have heard good things about Bubba’s Bones and Brews so we decided to stop in for happy hour.We each had a drink and split an app. The mac and cheese egg roll was awesome! The sauce was a spicy mix of sweet and sour. It was also really nice and crunchy. No sogginess here!This makes me want to try the rest of their menu! The patio was small and a little loud but otherwise great.

Been here twice-this year and last while at Palm Springs. Both times enjoyed it a lot. Their small patio is very pretty and cozy. They are always happy to accommodate your food requests, so this time I just got a generous portion of pulled pork without any sauce and green salad as a side (though this option is not on the menu.). Pork was tender, flavorful and felt like it actually spent some time on the smoker. My husband’s western burger was great too, the BBQ sauce was a bit too sweet, but all in all-tasty. Brown beer was amazing, I’d come back just for it:)

My husband found Bubbas based on reviews during a recent day trip out to Palm Springs. We loved the casual atmosphere once we walked in. Our server, Shatna, was super friendly and made great suggestions when asked about items on the menu. I ordered the cran apple salad with smoked brisket and my hubby had the brisket taco plate. Both were truly excellent! The brisket was cooked to perfection and was so tender. Im looking forward to going back and maybe try something different on the menu, although Im still thinking about that salad.

This was a slightly off night at Bubbas. As usual, the service was excellent, but the food was a bit under their usual quality. Specifically, my pulled pork was very fatty and watery. Not quite sure what went wrong, but it was disappointing.Everything else was the usual great barbecue Ive come to expect from Bubbas. The Louisiana hot sausage was great as were the sides, corn on the cob and Mac and cheese.The staff at Bubbas has always been great. Friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful.I suspect that the mediocre pulled pork was just a fluke and that my next visit to Bubbas will be as good as my past visits.

Recently had a pretty amazing meal here. All 4 of us loved it and will definitely be going back. One diner in our group couldnt decide which tap beer to have and our server brought over a mini-flight of samples so he could choose. These people want your business and are dedicated to making sure you are happy. Ive been recommending this place to everyone I know and 3 of them are now in love with this place too. Everything we had was perfect and the friendly, helpful staff alway makes for a great dining experience.

Amazing food! The mac and cheese was so goey and cheesy I wanted to bathe in it. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. The brisket was moist and flavorful. And the side winder potatoes were to die for. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. First off I have to say the food was excellent! My wife and I had the chicken fried steak, wings and loaded fries. I knew we had picked the right place based on how crazy busy it was for a Sunday evening. That in itself contributed to the main problem which was a lack of organization. It seemed like the wait staff was doing everything including serving tables, making drinks, handling takeout etc. I sat at the bar for at least 15 minutes before flagging a waitress a second time and having our pickup order bagged up. The food had been sitting there the whole time. Chaos!

In town for a bit of poolside sunshine. A previous visitor recommended this one to us.A little Q joint stuck in a small strip mall that belies the result.Good BBQ. Brisket and ribs were both very good. Portion size was enough that I was able to save almost half for lunch the next day.One bone to pick... Both the ribs and the brisket came sauced. That seems odd since they have sauce on the table. And that sauce on the meat was the last of the sauces I wouldve chosen.They were very busy when we arrived. However, with our patience, the staff was very friendly.If you want some good Q, its worth a stop.

Good service. Food flavor is good. Nothing special. The reason I dropped a star is because the brisket was 50% fat even asking for lean and the cornbread is served cold. I have no idea why. You can tell someone put as lot of effort into it. If it was warm it would be amazing. The server even noted it is a common complaint but owners wont budge. Ive never had cold corn bread. Cant imagine why they wont change.

Just had lunch here with the wife. Best damn barbecue weve both had in a looooonng time. We enjoyed the sampler for 2 (we thought enough for 4) which let us try it all. The Sausage was to die for, melts in your mouth. Baby back ribs pull off the bone and everything else was very good. Amazing Mac and cheese and great drinks too. Cant recommend enough!

I had the pulled pork sandwich. Good flavors but only a small amount of pull pork. Sandwich was cold, bun not toasted. Wife had brisket sandwich that also had small amount of meat that was cold. We are a full time traveling family and have tried food all over the country.. and when you think of BBQ food, you may only think of the south... but you should look no further than Bubbas Bones & Brews in California.Tonight was our first time trying this place - we ordered quite a bit. Bubbas Meat Sampler for 2 which includes - pulled pork, chicken, sausage, ribs, brisket + 2 pieces of a bread of your choice and 2 sides, Garlic Parmesan Wings and lastly Jalapeño Wontons.This meal was nothing short of amazing. The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket had the necessary char on the fat with a nice warm pink center, sausage was smoked to perfection, chicken was tender and topped with just enough BBQ sauce and the same goes for the pulled pork. You could have all these meats with the included sauces but I can assure you, they dont need any sauce.The Hawaiian roll was soft and moist alongside the cornbread they offered which was a jalapeño cornbread which was a nice twist.French fries were crispy and the mac and cheese was a delicious white mac and cheese - thick and creamy.For the appetizers, the chicken wings were BIG and cooked perfectly but the star of the appetizers were the Jalapeño Wontons which were crispy, stuffed ever so proper and spicy beautifully paired with the included dipping sauce.We could not have been more pleased with the food and the ease of ordering takeout (online or on the phone).Highly recommend and will definitely return for another delicious helping of Bubbas Bones and Brews BBQ Food.

8/6/21 - What happened?? Its been a while and this time we got a rib platter to share. Since we have an hour drive each way, we ordered ribs with sauce on the side. They were pretty gross. Baked (or boiled?) without rub or much of any spice flavoring and grayish in color - zero flavor, fall off the bone (extremely over cooked) and more like pulled pulled pork. Corn bread placed in container soaked up all the grease from the ribs. So disappointing, lowering stars to 2 at this time. Today we stopped by during peak happy hour time and I guess they were understaffed and overloaded. I must have gone on a bad day or something because I see a lot of rave reviews on this place. I went today for the first time. I had such high hopes and was so excited after seeing the menu and couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into the food. The service was very good, but I was completely disappointed in the food. The brisket was dry and no flavor either and tasted like a thick piece of dry ham. And I don’t know why but I expected the Mac and cheese to be more like a baked Mac and cheese or at least more thick in consistency. It was watery and runny and looked like it came out of a can. And it had less flavor as the rest of the ingredients. And there was about a tablespoon of bbq on the sandwich which was lost in all the runny watery cheese that the Mac was soaking in. What would have been great would be baked or even deep fried Mac and cheese on top of everything. But it literally looked like they just opened a can of Mac and cheese and poured it all over the top which just made everything wet and filled the plate with running Mac and cheese. I don’t ever write reviews because I just don’t like saying bad things about restaurants. But I just had to write this one. It just wasn’t good at all and had zero flavor. Maybe I just picked the wrong item, although that was recommended to me by the server. So I will surely try it again and hopefully next time get something better. But I would definitely not order the Mac daddy again or anything that has Mac and cheese on it. I’m sorry for the poor review, but maybe you might possibly what to rethink the runny Mac and cheese, and maybe ad some seasoning to the food. I have seriously never had bbq with no flavor to it. Care has been taken to ensure cleanliness and the interior decorations, tables & chairs all picked out with the customer in mind.We started out with the House Made Pretzel. Some time goes into making these delectable fingers of potato. The BBQ sauce that accompanied the brisket was perfect. Not too sweet, not too tangy, not too overdone - just right. A side of four different BBQ sauces were placed in front of us and they as well were perfectly done.This will be a return to place for us. The selection of beers, wine and now they have a liquor license which I am sure will add to their business.I am afraid this small place on Ramon will quickly grow. Wife and I have been excited to try Bubbas for a while now. We came in on a Saturday around 3:30 pm just in time for happy hour :) and were absolutely blown away. We were told we could sit anywhere and were greeted by friendly staff. I wasnt overly hungry, I had eaten earlier but I ordered a Bubbas Blonde which was actually pretty good and started me off right, and my wife ordered the caprese salad and the Korean ribs. Caprese was great, exactly what one would expect of a typical caprese. Very fresh ingredients, and tomatoes were very firm for the time of year. The Korean ribs are award worthy!!! Jam packed full of flavor, very tender, a very tasty and slightly spicy wet/glaze sauce topped with sesame seeds and fresh green onion slices. Amazing. We were checked on by numerous staff who were very polite, friendly, and attentive. I next ordered a Iceland white ale which was very tasty. I highly recommend. We ordered some Korean ribs to go and thanked the staff for such great food, drinks, and service. The owners Adele and Rene are wonderful hosts and truly made for a great experience. We cannot wait to return on Sunday evenings for happy hour and live music!!!!

Spent the last 2 nights here and ate lunch and dinners both nights. Food is excellent and service was great! I highly recommend it. Our server/bartender was Nubia, but all behind the bar were friendly and quick with service. If you’re in the area be sure to check this place out! 😊

Crapy service. Are waitress Sydney was not friendly. Didnt ask us if we were happy with the food. Could have sold us more then one BEER. Isnt beer in the name of this place? The people sitting behind us were so drunk and LOUD we couldnt get out of there fast enough. We well never go back.

Went here on my birthday with my brother, mom, and gf and loved it! The appetizers were very filling and delicious. The entrees were even better! And since it was my brother and my birthday they surprised us with a slice of cheesecake (delicious) and a chocolate cake (just as good).

3 of us were trying this place for the first time we orderd burgers my meet was thick little dry not medium, small around and fat . I did not find much of the bacon rhis western was touted to have and it had soggy onion rings.Orderd a large size of fries that was unusualy small by other fries we have had in other places.Had a couple of craft beers $7 and $5,,, .draft beersFlavors were good. So if you can pay a premium and dont mind small portions it was fun going to a different place the people are very nice.

Great bbq!!! Being from KC, I measure bbq by the brisket. This was thick sliced, moist and flavorful. The sauce was sweet, but not necessary to enjoy the meat. The ribs just fell off the bones. The cole slaw was great. It had a very nice, light sauce and lots of apples. It was excellent. They also have a very good local brew. I may have just talked myself into going back tonight.

The Korean ribs are awesome. I had to say that first. I came here for some bbq and what I fell in love with is the SLAW. What a nice compliment to any meat you choose. Rene the owner added apples to the SLAW. Soooooo original and refreshing. Ive always liked cole slaw and this tops it. I have to mention the brisket I ordered tho. That was also superb. Come try this place!
