Buko Restaurant in Glendale

Omg this place is awesome! It is a perfect blend of simplicity, flavors and service. Theres only one other place that I can remember, the tonkostu ramen being so rich and creamy not salty and that was in Washington DC. We also get the spicy crunchy tuna roll and that was excellent. I think the best restaurants make you want to make the trip back to enjoy them again, Im coming back!

Not sure how I haven’t come across this before…so glad to have found this cute little spot in Glendale! The service was excellent - my boyfriend has an allergy to mayo and we forgot to mention it ahead of time, but they still made a whole new roll for us 🙏🏻 The niku udon really hit the spot! It’s way better than what you get at Marugame. The prices are decent too. I will definitely come back to support this business 😊

They have lunch menu from 11:30am to 2pm it includes either lunch combo or sashimi or sushi combo.Also they have fried yellow fish in their appetizers and it is DELICIOUS. I recommend this place 100%.

Best sushi ever!! They are so nice and all kinds of sushi are good, especially spicy tuna and white dragon! Chicken katsu is good as well!!

Buko is the best sushi place I have ever been. The caterpillar roll is delicious it tasted sweet and better than Full Moon sushi. The Hawaiian roll wad the best roll I have ever tasted it felt like poki in one roll. This is the best sushi place I have ever been. It even has a damurada doll I think. This is the best place to have a birthday. The caterpillar roll has no real caterpillar.

Service its mediocre at best, the server seemed not to care at all when taking order or taking it correct. She was so unfriendly even though thats a must for a job such as this. Customer service is one of the worst things here. The food was delivered wrong and had to keep waving to get the servers attention while they were just chatting with each other. No wonder the restaurant is empty.Hopefully they hire people who know and what to be there doing the work properly.

Decent Japanese restaurant. Prices are good. Service was very good. I found the food good, but not great. My favorite item was the tempura shishito peppers. The spicy tuna nachos were also good.

Good, but not great sushi. very conveniently located for me so I come here often and its consistently satisfying, with fast and friendly service. favorites are the veggie tempura hand roll (pictured, only $4.50) and salmon sushi (always like butter, I believe $4.25). most of their fancy rolls are just California rolls with fresh fish on top, for $10+ so I usually stick to a few cheaper options instead here.they have a parking lot and a happy hour menu but its nothing too much cheaper than their normal prices.

This is a sweet neighborhood joint with some of the most creative sushi in Glendale. Enjoyed albacore roll with shiso leaf, rainbow roll, spicy tuna rolls with onions, jalapeno, mango and snapper roll, spicy shrimp and scallop roll, uni nigiri, and seaweed salad. Japanese family are your hosts and the service is very good. Everyone is down to earth, good humored & super friendly to regulars and newbies alike.

My go-to for a good dine in teriyaki,sushi and their delish veggie tempura!..been awhile since Ive been..but will always go back to this place.Quaint little place but good food. Thank you Buko!..
