I had the caramelized pork banh mi. It was one of the least enjoyable banh mi sandwiches Ive had. It wasnt bad, it just didnt have the strongest flavor profile. There were quite a few highly fatty pieces of meat in the sandwich. The crispy spring rolls were good. I will probably give it a second try, to see if they have an option I enjoy more.

A small shop perfect for lunch or a quick meal. The French bread was soft and puffy, the monthly special caramelized pork tasted very good in the Binh Mi sandwich with a sweet touch. Will definitely return!

My ex wanted to come here so we did. She ordered two bun mes, different flavors. I ate the red one. Apparently that was wrong, they wanted to go halfsies. How was I supposed to know. Its amazing what bun mes can teach you about yourself. Weve since taken are kids here and they always go halfsies, thank you

Incredible sandwich! I got the deli, wife got the lemongrass chicken. Amazing flavors, balanced and fresh. The bread has the perfect crunch to fluff ratio. The lady at the front was so nice and friendly. What a gem this place is.

Overall good food. I ordered the Vegan Meat Bun Me. They got my order a little wrong and I wasnt wowed by their Vegan Meat but the bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not too bready, warm and nice flavor to the pickled veggies.

I really love the Steak Bun Me here. The Fresh Spring roll is also very good along with their steak pho. The only difficult part about coming to this location is the parking. Its in a small plaza and since Norms is being built next door, they close some of the parking.

I love this restaurant so much! The family running Bun Me is super sweet and funny. Their menu is simple to choose from and everything tastes great. Hands down, they make the best bowl of VEGAN pho. Randomly walked in with my gorgeous wife out of curiosity to see whats new around. Came across this small spot and noticed they made Pho and other things. Ordered the Spicy Bun Bo Hue it was very great and fresh, highly recommend it! Also the Combo 3 meats Pho is great, like the broth of both!!!

Came for the sandwiches, got 2 grilled pork, but somehow ended up with char siu? The bun was airy and soft, Im used to a baguette, crisp with a sight chew. Could have needed more meat, the filling was mostly carrots, 2 small cucumber pieces, and 2 thin pieces of jalapeño. I was really hyped given the reviews, but Ill give the other things on the menu a chance and update again later. I was really hoping given the name, that the sandwiches would have been better than expected?

This place is 10000% legit. I read the reviews and was curious to see if it was the real deal and let me tell you it absolutely is! Ive lived near CSUN for over 15 years and this is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant possibly in the valley! Their Bun mes are WORLD CLASS!!! Bread is fresh and the ratio is spot on! The Spring rolls arent filled with a ton a rice noodles which is nice and you really get that freshness! Also, they dont advertise it but their PHO is incredible. Its so much better then the Actual Pho focused spots out there! You can tell its a family business who prides themselves in their food and its shows! Please please dont hesitate! Just come here and order anything... you wont be disappointed. Its PHOnomenal ;)!

Went here for Banh Mi with my cousin for take out. I got the pork one she got vegetarian, my other cousin ordered spring rolls.Mine is just OK, my cousins vegetarian Banh Mi has a dead fly in it. My cousin called and they gave back her money but they can never bring back her appetite. The spring roll is not good.Second time, I went with my aunt and we had pho, Its expensive and I have tried better pho with better prices.

I love this place. They see me and know my order. I always get the double tofu salad. Its not on the menu, but its awesome. If you hate tofu, try this. Its not your typical tofu. Its more of a meat substitute. It has a great texture and taste. Not sure exactly what it is (they are super secretive about this), but its my go to meal when I have time. Id eat this every day if I could.

I dont have anything else to compare this with, so it could be better than I think, but here we go...We had the Bun Me lemongrass chicken, as well as the caramelized pork, both of which were out of this world tasty. All of the veggies were fresh, and the meat was hot when it was served. The bun... To me, perfect. Light crust with a soft middle that didnt make you work to hard for the bite.We also had the spicy ginger chicken wings (medium) and they were wonderful. Spicy with a little taste what we figured was honey. Again, fresh and hot when they came to the table. An order of the shrimp summer rolls came out as well. Same as above... fresh veggies, great, fresh tasting dish that we enjoyed.Well certainly come back here again when were in the area.

Been coming here since 2016 since I moved here in Northridge. The owner is very sweet and accommodating. Whenever I take my parents here she gave my parents the options to change the type of noodles they want in there phó. All there foods are Excellent.Got a to go bun me steak sandwich for my friend and she said it was delicious. I highly recommend their #1 Bun Me. Ive gotten it multiple times and its been consistently great. The jalapeno that comes in it may vary in spiciness. I havent tried any of the pho yet, but I look forward for the day I do.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt inclined to after trying Bun Me for the first time tonight. I use to get my Banh Mi sandwiches from another place, but they’re temp. Closed so I found Bun Me. Upon looking through their reviews I decided to give them a try. The lemongrass chicken and Caramelized pork are their top two best rated for the banh mi. My husband and I both got the Caramelized pork- and boy are we glad we both ordered it! It was SO FLAVORFUL!!! The meat was so flavorful like it had been marinated for hours/days. Everything about this sandwich was perfect! The jalapeño wasn’t hot at all so I added a touch of Sriracha and it was excellent! Can’t wait to try the lemongrass one next!

I really love this place! I ate there weekly while attending CSUN. Everything I tried was delicious and reasonably priced. There’s something magical about their pork, and the chicken is delicious too. I would always have a hard time deciding between a bahn mi and the noodle bowl, both are awesome. Staff is on it, and always friendly. I won’t miss CSUN, but I’ll miss them.

One of my newest favorite restaurants to visit. They have great spring rolls and their bánh mìs are amazing! I bring my kid in there and theyre always super friendly with him; makes me feel really comfortable. I always order the vegetarian bánh mì, vegetarian spring roll and the pho noodle soup and add tofu. Good luck finding a parking spot in the evenings though, even the neighboring Acapulco parking lot is often full. Other than that, I highly recommend. The only thing I wish they had was a vegetarian or vegan version of everything on the the menu.

I went there for dinner Saturday, there was about 5 workers and I was the only customer ordering. I ordered 4 items, and they all were pretty bad or ok. Spring Rolls were rolled sloppy so it fell apart when I picked it up, fried Spring Rolls were soggy, Banh Mi Pate was not what I usually get from other places. Pate was red, and they only spread on the edges where you take your 1st bites. The Cha Lua had like a sweet soy sauce taste drizzled on it, which I never had. Pho was basic. In the end, I threw away 2 soggy eggrolls, half my pho, whatever that fell out the Spring Rolls, Cha Lua, and scraped off their Pate.

If your in the mood for Vietnamese food, this is a great place to go in Northridge. They have great Banh Mi sandwiches and are very affordable ($4.50 - $6.50). They also serve Pho, Spring rolls, Summer rolls, Boba drinks and many more items.The eating area is quite small which consists of 6 tables in the inside and two tables on the outside. It tends to get really busy and packed during lunch hour when students from CSUN eat there for lunch. You might/might not get a table to sit down to eat.There is $7 minimum if you use your credit card to pay or else you will pay a $0.35 service charge.

This place had opened before I started going to CSUN. After almost a year of waiting til I got accepted, I would always browse through their website and Facebook page. Once I got into CSUN, this was the first place for me to try out. Boy it was worth the wait. The bahn mi (vietnamese sandwich) is quite different from the franchise, Lee Sandwiches. It has got its own texture, flavor and taste. The bun is crispy and fresh. The meats are well cooked. Each vietnamese sandwich if ordered in the restaurant is given complimentary shrimp chips. IF ordered for pick-up or to-go, there are no shrimp chips. But there are shrimp chips to-go, if preferred. The shrimp chips is like having chips and dip at a mexican restaurant. I advise you try some. I have come to love the spring rolls and the lemongrass chicken bun-me. The boba, also is really good here. There hasnt been any good boba places in the san fernando valley that can match the boba texture here. I usually aim for the large boba milk tea. Maybe one suggestion is to have a loyalty card for a milk-tea.. buy 9.. get one medium free, but thats my opinion.
