2022-02-15 01:39:04This was a very cute stop. They do have reservations on open table which was nice. Parking was easy. The cheesy bread was a good portion. The rack of lamb was good and cooked just as we ordered. I appreciated that some of the desserts had smaller portions so we could try a couple. The interior is very quaint and worth a stop

2023-08-01 17:09:18What a wonderful, cozy place for a nice dinner. Our food was excellent, wine also good with superb, attentive service. I would have given the food 5 stars, but one plate had a filet cooked med/rare when we asked for med/well. They immediately corrected it and redid the entire plate to perfection. Id definitely come back.

2023-11-14 04:34:055 out of 5. Don’t think twice about coming here. Excellent food. 1/2 off wine on Mondays. Dessert was to die for. Unpretentious but so so good. We ordered the peppered angus filet mignon and the duck. Easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Run, don’t walk.

2023-11-16 18:46:33Had a marvelous meal at Cafe Sparrow last night. We started with the Gigi, basically a cheese fondue with vegetables, fruit, crostini. So delicious with the potatoes, though I wished the fondue were a little bit sharper. But the gruyere was delicious. All four of us got red meat options, I had the Angus Filet Mignon. It was so incredible, so tender it was like eating salmon. The squash side dish was delicious, like the filling of pumpkin pie, and went perfectly with the beets and green beans. My sons had the fettuccine with filet tips, and the rack of lamb. My wife had the ribeye, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.We all got desserts, too, the chocolate mocha cheesecake, the creme brulee, and the brownie sundae, which we all shared. The coffee was also great, from the Santa Cruz Roasting Company. Nothing was overpowering or too sweet or cloying, such a great mix of flavors and textures.Elaine was our server, very friendly and attentive, and even introduced one of the head chefs and the sous chef who did the grilling. They were all gracious and seemed to appreciate our kudos. All in all, a truly fantastic meal. Sorry no photos, we dug in before I had the presence of mind to take a picture!

2023-09-07 15:10:12This is a very nice place for dinner. The service was excellent. The dishes ranged from excellent king salmon to average fettuccine. We will go back to try other dishes. Not sure what gives it the French designation.

2022-09-20 22:06:48Lovely little place with well cooked food. Very relaxed vibe and attentive staff. The salad was well sized with fresh shrimp and my husband liked his Albacore puff. The cheese bread was great and the baked brie was delicious last time we came.My only disappointment in two visits has been the bread pudding but I prefer it more custard and theirs is more bread.Parking is not attached, its down a boardwalk and the bathroom is tight to access if you have mobility issues beware.
