Love the cafe de hoya iced or hot. Staff is always kind and attentive.
I love this place ever since it opened when I was still in high school, i just find it crazy how quickly cafe cafe is becoming a staple in Wilmington and honestly it brings the community together. It brings our culture to light in a place where it can be shunned at times. CaféCafé not only has delicious flavors but also the cafe it self is such a warm area . I highly recommend to try this place.
The drinks were delicious! I got a mangoniada and it was the best Ive ever tasted. On a hot day these are the best to cool you down. The staff was really sweet and helpful! You must try the gansito frappe if you enjoy gansitos. Not to sweet just right. Must make the drive.

Had horchata iced espresso delivered I ordered a large received a medium. Also ordered the chocolate frappe …. Both drinks tasted just okay and I could not tell if espresso was really added ??? Could not taste any coffee which was disappointing… the drinks were overall UNDERwehlming which made me wish I would have played it safe and ordered coffee bean and tea leaf or something I know is reliable for the caffeine I was looking for
5 stars for their cold brew. Kept me awake the whole day. Will come back

Love this little cozy place. The drinks are unique and delicious. The customer service is outstanding. My husband ordered a drink that contains milk, which my son cannot have. The young lady at the counter offered to exchange it for free for a non dairy drink. It was OUR fault yet she didn’t think twice about helping us out without us even asking her to. I will definitely will be coming back again.
Passed by this place earlier this week, and I had to come back to try out some coffee. I kept it simple and ordered a pan dulce (elote) and iced cafe de olla. The owner toasted the pan dulce, and whether they make the bread themselves or source locally, it was AMAZING! The cafe the olla was sweeter than I’m used to, but still a refreshing drink to have on a hot summer day. Seating inside with good music (think The Internet, some Jazz). I’m a fan and will be coming back when I’m in the neighborhood.

You must try the Mazapan latte hot or cold just ask for it half sweet. It is too sweet for me. Love, love their overnight oats with peanut butter. They also have greek yogurt and Nutella oats.Salads were not good, chicken is frozen. Salad was limp.Happy Chomping
I love the awesome coffe drink choices. So many! I love the decor! However, Im highly disappointed in their cafe de la olla. Three times that Ive ordered it, it was undrinkable. Extremely sweet and sour. As if the coffee is full of acid. Steer clear from that, at least until they learn how to make it. Otherwise cool place.
Love this little place for an almond milk latte and a bagel. Its quiet with good WiFi connection and friendly prompt service. Oh - and the coffee is good too! Dont overlook it on your way on and off the freeway!

Very cozy alternative to Starbucks. Its a small cafe and not a big-chain place. The drinks make attempts to be unique and come out in a delicious way. There isnt a rrgular coffee free refill with current stay. Cards and cash accepted. Cool decor. Friendly and helpful staff. Past noon time, it does not face the sun, so you can be at the windows enjoying a good view. Seating is very comfortable and in a lounge set up. Two basket seats could be changed because they leaned back too far to make it safe to drink coffee (without spilling or leaning back and forth to sip). So much better than Starbucks. They have seasonal drinks and their pumpkin spice is the best!!! Most of their fraps are in Spanish, they have flavors like chocolate, milk, starwberry, and Carmel. Usually they will have some sort of seasonal drink. The sandwiches are good as well. This place can get crowed full of people getting away from home to get work done on their computers.
I checked this place out for the first time two days ago. I had their green tea with mint. I asked for it unsweetened and they were accommodating.The place has character, I like the interior décor. It looks as if the owners are originally from Guanajuato in Mexico as there are several references to said region in the art and other things on display there.One thing I am intrigued by is their mazapan frappé, or whatever they call it. It looks interesting and I’ll have to try it out on a future visit.It looks like the perfect place to enjoy some alone time.Parking is good and in the off chance that there isn’t enough there at the strip mall, there’s the huge park n ride right across the street. The coffee is way over priced for the quality they have. They are not specialty coffee makers. I asked for both a Longo and Ristretto espresso and even though I know they have the portofilters on the barista bar to do those drinks, they refused anyway, citing thats its not on the menu. They are slightly more expensive than the commercial Starbucks and/or Coffee Bean and they try to pull off the small time Mom n Pop business feel without any of the actual Mom n Pop customer perks (bring your own mug for discounts, specialized customer drinks they make work, charging discount price for one-half a pump of syrup where the drink normally takes 3-4 pumps, etc). Its like they are trying to capitalize on the commercial and the Mom n Pop business benefits of both, while providing neither of these benefits on the customer side. If you want a more awesome Mon n Pop feel try The Library in Long Beach, if you want commercial, go to any Starbucks.There only saving grace is free WiFi really.
Very Welcoming and You wont have anyone staring while your trying to figure out how to access your Ipad because your brothers Apple I.D. keeps asking for his password.Also I dont get coffee regularly as I use to but this place has different drinks in and its a Freshly squeezed Juice made with only 2 or 3 ingredients. They use natural cane sugar as well so its vegan friendly.They have substitutes for regular dairy as well but Im guessing they make there own because you can taste the creaminess and thickness of the almonds they used.***I worked in alot of restaurants and when they have see through windows so you can see what there doing that means there making it with love...***O yeah and the cinnamon shaker the shizznit....Its right where your drink will be when its ready.
Was in the area stopped by and will definitely be back. Kept it simple with a iced Cafe de olla and it was delicious. The fraps were tempting but on my return I shall partake.
I saw this place in Facebook and decided to try it out. The drinks are good, but theres not much variety there. The menu is so small and not many pastries to choose from. Overall it was good. I would probably go back.

I came back the first time. I really liked the service. It was excellent, but this time the person who was serving had a terrible attitude. The drinks are very good. They should do something with the staff so they dont ruin the place.

The truth is, I wont come back here. I ordered two of the same frappes and the flavor is amazing. They need to invest more. They dont put coffee in them and the desserts are from Norgate and Cotsco. The attention is not friendly at all.They are selling ice with sugar for a very high price.

2023-12-01 18:57:19Love this place. 💕We get our coffee and our pastry right before work. I recommend the chocolate abuelita with oat milk and the pour over. For food you have to get, the everything bagel sandwich with egg.

2023-09-15 04:56:27Today I went in, and I saw the same guy working there as always. I believe he is a hard worker, because I always see him working as fast as he can to get all the orders out. Unfortunately, I was only there for about 20 minutes, and he had to deal with two rude customers two different times. While a customer was telling him everything he did wrong, how he has a lot of social media followers, and how he lost a customer. All he responded with was “thank you for the feedback” “I understand” which shows a lot about the unproblematic person he really is. I never write reviews, but people really need to be nice to someone who is merely trying their best. I felt for him, so I tipped him because he deserved it. I ordered the horchata frappe and it was delicious, along with the #3 on the food menu and that was also delicious. This place never has let me down, so my family and I will always choose this place over Starbucks, any day.

As it reminds me of something I’ve smelled but can taste on my tongue and it isn’t pretty
