Waoh, what a great find! Delicious sandwiches, great variety, great coffee with oat milk and almond milk. Very good vegetarian sandwiches. The staff was very friendly. It is actually also a nice seating area.If you are on the road between the coast and the mountains, this is your spot!Very fair prices as well.
Went today for the first time and I’m sure I will be back soon. The service was great. The sandwich was delicious. They made it super quick and the place was nice and clean.

I normally get some sort of a bagel sandwich and a latte or boba drink and it never disappoints! My kids love this place too and the owners always make us feel welcome :)

This was our first time here.It was ok. We ordered two sandwiches and there drinks.Sandwiches:House combo- is ok. Very traditional I think.BBQ pork- not fond of this particular meat. But we tried it anyway just in case it’s good. So it was less than expected.Drinks: all were large.Avocado with boba- doesn’t have a hint of avocado in it. Taste like coconut.Lychee w/ lychee jelly- was good but super sweet.Taro with rainbow jelly- taro had different taste as well and jellys were extra sweet.- word of advise for first timer on drinks. Try small first.
Today was my 1st time & I will be back! I got the bánh mí sandwich w/ Chinese sausage & egg! So good, packed with flavor the Chinese sausage is so delicate and delicious..I love the green onion & all vegetables in the sandwich. Im glad I finally got to see what they had to offer! The bread is perfect as well!

I order a sandwich and asked for a house special and paid for my order. When my order arrived I was confused due to the labeling. When I asked the employee to clarify my confusion they reply “the house special” doesn’t exist. I wish the young lady who took my order would have informed me the house combo & special are two different sandwiches. Instead I was yelled at and confront by all 3-4 of their employees; slamming me with hostility for my confusion and that I was at fault. Instead of being approached with kindness the lady offered to add the ingredients and repeated said I would be charged extra multiple times; “you need to let me know! You should have told me!”Also there sandwich’s are missing pickled carrots and daikon… which is what makes up Vietnamese banh mi. Not culturally correct either.Other than that the sandwiches are yummy, I hope they can adjust their tone of voice, their approach and how they treat their customers when a small mistake or confusion happens

The bessssssst Cafe in town I tell you. And not to mention their very VERY wholesome family friendly customer service. Their business should get more recognition in my opinion. My first impression here was when my best friend took me here for my birthday, and based on my taste buds they have the BEST paninis in town. I always order their Jasmine Milk Tea because Im such a tea person like Iroh from Avatar last Air Bender 😄. But legit 12.5/10 for me! Totally recommend this Cafe for anyone in town for real for real.

Thought its about time to put a review because me and my family have been coming here for years. The owners are super nice and friendly and have done an amazing job with the place since being there. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are the bomb. Favorite is probably the sardine or spam one. Their drinks are my favorites around town too. I even got my boyfriend hooked on their food and drinks. For a small cafe I think they do a great job with timing. If you’re in a hurry I recommend phone ordering ahead of time because they get real busy around lunch especially when it’s the warm season and everyone is out. They’re also great with substituting milk and gluten for those who have allergies or intolerances. Good job guys!
Came here once when they first opened. Not too excited about it, but I knew they needed to establish themselves. Then COVID-19 hit. I went again because a friend wanted lunch from you there. We had Thai tea and pork sandwiches. Everything was better than perfect.
I genuinely cannot believe how incredible this Bánh Mì is. My barber lives in the Manteca area while I live in Stockton so I’m not familiar with the area. After my haircut I looked around on maps for a spot to eat and I found this little place. I have tried so many different sandwich shop’s bành mì and none come even close in the realm that this one exists in. It’s so good that this is literally the first review I’ve ever written on Google ever. It’s so damn good that I think it’s ruined my chances of finding a bành mì this good again. I will be fair and say that I also bought a smoothie and it was very serviceable. It wasn’t bad by any means just alright, maybe I’ll give their boba a shot next time though. But the bành mì(also they call it a Vietnamese sandwich on their menu sorry about the confusion) was so incredible that it’s still a five star experience. I will be absolutely coming back here just for this sandwich even though it’s 30 minutes away from where I live LOL

Ive read reviews on this place and finally decided to try it and it did not disappoint! Got the turkey torta and my kiddos got the turkey club and a Boba drink. My turkey torta- excellent! The bread was not super thick and it was lightly grilled with a good crunch. The pesto and veggies were perfect. My kids both enjoyed their turkey club and their bobas, which I didnt get pics of in time. Ill definitely go back.
Cafe Aroma is AMAZING!! I brought my vegetarian mom and my 3 year old here with me and there was something for all of us..our sandwiches were amazing, my mom got the veggie burger (said it was her new favorite!) and i got the breakfast sandwich which was incredible! So were the Mexican coffees we ordered..The customer service was wonderful, at one point my daughter spilled her juice all over the floor and they were soo sweet about it, coming to help me clean it up...They have a huge selection of sandwiches coffees and yummy treats to offer...what a hidden gem this is! I will definitely be back soon! 💗

Hands down the best Cafe in town! The food is delicious and fresh, the Boba drinks are bomb and the coffee is perfect. The owners are soooo nice and you can tell they genuinely care for their customers. Well be regular customers from now on! Try the $1 spring rolls while you wait on your food or drink, theyre super good!
This place is so amazing. The owner makes delicious sandwiches and I always love getting the Vietnamese iced coffee. Every single sandwich that me and my family have tried on the menu is exceptional and theres a cute little side of fruit, macaroni salad, or potato salad. Prices arent too bad.The only negative thing is once in a while it can take a little too long to get your order because of the rush. Once we had to wait like 40 mins to get our sandwiches and we were the second group of people there so I cant imagine how long the people after us waited. But I think since then she has hired a couple more employees and the sandwiches have been coming out faster.I guess the only real complaint I have is that I wish it was open longer! Closes early in the evening!Must try! A gem in Manteca.
I wont lie, not only was I already hesitant to stop in manteca for breakfast /coffee but I was even more so because I had just left Los Gatos after being spoiled with wonderful food /service. The bar was already set high and my expectations biased.... Cafe Aroma at first glance might be dismissed as any other struggling and quickly forgettable quick bite in the valley but youd regret writing them off if you didnt give them more than a glancing chance. This place feels warm like home from the moment you walk in. The service is genuine and the smiles are warm...theres nothing fake about this hospitality and it effortlessly spills into the creation of their dishes. Long story short, delicious food, great service, decent pricing and well worth a thorough inquisition. 🤙🏽
SoOOo Goood!!! I like that they have drink I don’t normally see in other places. They didn’t have boba available when I went which is totally okay because the drinks were really good either way. It’s super cold and perfect for the heat!!! I got a horchata and it is cinnamon my goodness. My 4 year old got avocado drink and also really good! My husband got the Vietnamese coffee and he loves the strength of the flavor. I wasn’t hungry but they have a lot of food options I’d love to try out. Staff is super friendly!!
Boba tea was delicious and tasted freshly made, the Vietnamese sandwich tasted as amazing as it looked, and the service was friendly and speedy! Only complaint is that I wish the chairs were a little more comfortable, but its not worth taking a star off over. Great place!

First time visit to cafe aroma! Loved that they have a large menu, with a good selection. Even Vietnamese sandwiches. The trouble becomes what to select because everything sounds good. Cant wait to go back, and try something different. Maybe bring some one and we can sandwich swap and try two things!

Ordered 2 Thanksgiving Day sandwiches, a raspberry smoothie and Chai tea.Drinks were delicious and sandwich ingredients were mostly fresh, with the exception of the meat looking like it came from a cheap store package. Tasted good but I expect the meat to be similar to deli cut meats when I go out for a sandwich.Better meat and this place would be 4-5 stars.
Loved this place! Joe (the owner and only one working in this place!) went above and beyond! I had a turkey club sandwich and it was delicious! Great atmosphere, Joe made you feel special. Definitely will be eating here more often.

Not a coffee shop! I was in Manteca for a few hours and wanted a place to sit and read while enjoying a cup of coffee. Im trying to stay away from chain coffee shops so I did a quick Google Maps search and saw this place. I was very disappointed as its a very small sandwich shop. I ordered a coffee anyway, from a VERY limited coffee menu, and for $2 I got a watered down version of what I make at home. The name is very misleading!

2023-11-10 21:12:39This is my happy and comfort place. Food is great. The staff are great too. Even the customers are awesone. One time, I came in with my family and the men who had been there offered thier table for us. Of course, I tried to say no thank you but their insisted. Today, I walked in with my mom and most tables were taken. I sat my mom at a not so roomy table bevause there was a portable heater and a regular customer moved it so my mom can sit comfortably. You will not see customers and staff at other cafes like in this one.

2021-04-01 21:38:44Love the vegan menu at Café aroma this place is awesome they have all kinds of food, sandwiches on their menu love. 👍👍I had that avocado smoothie which was awesome no after taste if you know what I mean, you can have it with real avocado or you can have it with the powdered avocado I choose the real avocado it was awesome👌I recommend it check out the pictures. They have outside seating it was a beautiful day which made it really nice.

2023-08-19 17:14:35Every single time i have ever step foot into this establishment and been nothing but nice i’ve been greeted with an attitude. The lady behind the counter is extremely belittling to the younger girl working the counter. I had to make a change on my drink and she acted like i asked her the worlds biggest favor. She repeated it back to me like I was stupid. As someone who has social anxiety and doesn’t go out much (or leave reviews like this) i can hands down say i’ve ever experienced such an attitude from somebody behind the counter. I am very quiet and don’t complain about anything yet they act like I’ve just offended them. I have tried them a total of 3 times hoping for a better result and each time their attitude just gets worse. She even remembered me from last time and announced how she thought I might want my drink that SHE messed up the first time. I was on the phone with a friend when I gave them my order and they even heard me say what I wanted and that I was cordial the whole time. Learn how to treat people. You don’t know what they’re going through.
