Ordered a Grilled steak wrap combo which included a side to choose from salad, soup or fries. I chose Lentil Soup and wooow!! The best lentils soup I have ever tried. I will come back only for the soup. The wrap was good in size and had great flavor too. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the meat was a little bit too hard for my taste but that could only be me. I highly recommend this place.

Wow wow wow the food is so delicious. . This is my 2nd time here so I tried the salmon dish with garlic pita bread, Greek salad, and the rice. The salmon was melting in my mouth. The garlic pita bread with the rice and the tazinki 🤤🤤🤤🤤. Well cooked. Kind staff. Delicious! You wont be disappointed by anything.

Hidden Gem. I enjoy the lentil soup, hummus, and their beef kabob plate with veggies. Great atmosphere. Not a lot of people. Great service provided by the cashiers.

Wow, when the food comes out right this place is great. Too bad it doesnt always come out great. Was a 5 star, but Im changing it to 4. The cooking is inconsitent and dissapointing at times. But when its good its really good. Atmosphere is always calm and quiet when I ate there, good for a lunch break. Friendly staff.

My husband had the Cobb salad with grill chicken kabob. The salad was fresh and delicious with a perfect amount of vinegrette. I had the grilled chicken pita minus the red onions and a bowl of lentil soup. Seriously the best pita with quality chicken Ive ever had. The lentil soup was so good. Lentil soup is my favorite and usually I only eat my moms but Im so glad I tried it here. Perfect portions of food and this place definitely beats the surrounding fast food places. The inside is super clean and so are the restrooms. We opted to eat outside in the little patio area, again very clean outside too. Also, the tea tastes great and they have crushed ice! This is my new spot for lunch. I highly recommend you give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.Update: Wrote this review 3 months ago and as of today were still frequenting Cafe Moderno. Still the best spot for a fantastic lunch!

Hidden gem for sure! The do take Like 20min for 1 plate but thats how you know its fresh because I was the only one here . The Greek salad was DELICIOUS! Very flavorful. PITA BREAD, RICE, SHRIMP & CHICKEN CABOB was soooo good. Will definitely be back

This is a solid Mediterranean restaurant, one of several in Rancho. What’s unique about this place is the salad bar which has some of the most flavorful and even a spicy salad. The grilled items I had were a bit over cooked but had good flavor. Overall I would definitely return to try their other grilled items and the yummy salad bar.

A little gem in Montclair. Wish we had more authentic places like this in Montclair city. Ordered the zucchini chips & baba ganoush appetizers....delish (no picture). Ordered the chicken kabob plate with a Cesar salad and basmati rice (nice size serving) and my husband ordered the steak wrap. So good!!!!*And fries super tasty!

Loved this place!! Went today, the cashier was really patient with us since it was our first time being there. The chairs there are really comfy and the food was amazing! We ordered some pesto and a burger with fries and they were both really good! I’m surprised they don’t have more customers, probably since it’s kind of hidden in the shopping center, but still 10/10 would definitely recommend! It is a bit pricy but if you don’t mind spending a little extra for some good food then it’s definitely worth it!

The food is delicious! Everything is made fresh so the food isnt ready right away. It is however, definitely worth the short wait. The service is great. I highly recommend this place if youre in the area and looking for some good Mediterranean food. I personally drive 20 minutes just to come eat here. Worth the drive

Cafe Modernos food and service are outstanding. Today as always (I am a regular client). The relation quality-price is amazing as well. They have the most fresh salads and the cook is great. One thing makes me give them 4 stars rather than 5: their espresso machine has not been working for... ever, and their great baklava deserve an espresso to go with it.

I love this place! Its small, only has about 6 tables. They have the best food, so fresh and flavorful. Theyre chicken kabobs are amazing, theyre rice, and grilled veggies are perfection. They also have gelato for dessert. Its not very expensive either.

I was the only one in line, in crutches, waited there about 5 minutes before the girl in front came out, then I ordered a chicken wrap, I understand mobile orders, but I ordered at 12:38 pm and did not receive my wrap until 1:11 pm. If you have a lot of time to spend you can come here, but if youre looking for something quick, dont come here.

I just love this place. The family and staff are super nice, the food is extremely fresh and great tasting, they’ve never messed up our take-out orders, and they’re always so patient when explaining to me what’s in certain dishes (I struggle with wanting to order one of everything). Totally worth trying. They’ve become a staple for us. I’m sure you’ll find them just as pleasant and wonderful as we do!

I was extremely excited to to eat Greek food and to find this place that had such great reviews. Well my excitement ended there. I ordered the lamb gyro plate with boba ganoush and Mediterranean fries. Everything tasted like it was frozen then microwaved and soggy. This was my husbands 1st time eating Greek food and it was a very bad experience. This is not acceptable and NOT greek food. Id of rather had McDonalds at this point. There are many people walking in and taking food to go. Most of the tables are taken. One orders at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. The portions are generous. The meat in the cabin is flavorful and tender. The young man behind the counter came to check on us 2X. As we got up to leave we were asked if our visit was to our satisfaction and thanked for coming. Wow!! Great food and great service.

Bad customer service just walked in with my family of 5, no welcome, no acknowledgment from staff. Tables dirty. Was standing for about 5-8 min at register. Place didnt even look busy at all. Staffdidnt bother to even look our direction at the register. Rang bell women looked annoyed of being there, she did not even give us eye contact and just said we will be right with you after 10 min of being there standing with my Family. We just decided to walk out and take our business else where. However, if youve had Mediterranean food before youll notice the food is not as flavorful at this joint and the hummus has a little too much tahini sauce so it over powers the flavor. First of all the girls that work there were very nice.In regards to the food, the taste is not authentic. The gyro barely had any tomatoes, lettuce(iceberg?), onions, in it.As of the beef kebab, the pieces were so thin; rice is not included, it has to be one of your sides; you only get 3/4 of a pita (why not give a full pita?) ; the hummus tastes like filler, wheres the garbanzo and tahini?; the tzatziki barely had cucumbers but tasted good. Ill keep going to Zait Bistro for real authentic Mediterranean food.
