Came here for dinner and loved it. The food here is amazing. Some of the best Indian food in socal with a creative twist. The dishes were very well prepared and had great flavor. Staff here was helpful with the menu and had good recommendations for us as it was our first visit.

Are you looking for Indian food with a twist? Come on by CaliChilli. The atmosphere is elegant, and welcoming. The aromas of the different spices are in the air promoting an anticipatory reaction on your tastebuds. I had the lambchops with mash, absolutely yummy and tender. If youre coming in the evening you may want to make a reservation. This hidden gem is definitely a staple in the Long Beach community.

Cali Chilli is a premier destination for those seeking a fusion of exotic Indian flavors. The ambience is among the best in town, perfectly complementing the food which is nothing short of excellent. Be prepared to order seconds, especially when indulging in their Paneer Vindaloo, which offers a delightful spicy kick, or the innovative Pani Puri Poppers that add a playful twist to a classic. Dont overlook the Vegetable Dum Biryani, a flavorful and hearty choice. Their Zero proof drinks are commendable, and for dessert, the vanilla crème brûlée is a must-try, easily taking the crown for the best dessert in town. The staff is friendly, ensuring an overall dining experience thats worth both your time and money. Cali Chilli comes highly recommended for an unforgettable culinary journey.

This restuarant is a great addition to the Long Beach food scene. Indian flavors are combined with Southeast Asian to create innovative fusion dishes. Out of all the dishes we got to try, my personal favorites were the Sticky ribs and Lamb Rogan Josh. The panipuri flight was a great concept but somewhat underwhelming compared to chaat dishes you can get elsewhere. The sticky ribs were so tender it almost fell of the bone. The Rogan Josh was spicy, tangy, and almost herbal. Highly recommend trying it with some naan and saffron rice. Partner enjoyed the Paneer Kofta. It was more creamier and delicately flavored with aromas from fresh-ground spices. The upside down Blood Orange cake was a great dessert to finish off the meal, light, fruity and refreshing with a scoop of ice cream. The place can get packed and service can be slow. Recommend coming early and making a reservation.

Nice place to discover. The food is delicious, and the accommodation for spiciness is on point. I asked for spicy hot lamb shank vindaloo, and they made it fiery spicy without compromising the curry flavor.I need to make a special mention about our waiter. He was excellent and outstanding. We had unusual, delicious cocktails, for starters, then small plates, entrees, and one dessert we shared. This discovery was an excellent opportunity to discover unauthentic cuisine from India. Must repeat...

Its a restaurant +bar with good options of Indian-American fusion food. We went for dinner with our kids and they really loved the panipuri poppers, nachos and chicken wings. Biryani is their specialty which they serve in a very fascinating way that everyone loved. We were little disappointed with the paneer Tikka. Its a good place to go with friends for dinner and drinks. They have huge non-vegetarian options which we dnt tried, but surely will be awesome. The service was quick and staff was nice too.

The best Indian food I have had in California so far. We ordered pani puri sampler, vada paav and creme brûlée French toast. I loved all of them. The presentation, taste and service all are so good. The vada paav especially is to die for. Highly recommended!

Seriously soooo good!!! I think they were probably understaffed on Father’s Day, so that’s the only reason for the 4 star service but our server was super nice and helpful so absolutely nothing against him.The food is phenomenal and so unique. I always love a good fusion spot and I think they really hit this one well. I would honestly recommend any of the things we ordered, but most definitely the ginger and cardamom chai, butter chicken pot pie, eggplant paneer lasagna, and the ghee waffle. I look forward to going back so I can try more items. Will definitely get the pani puri flight next time, it looks super fun!

Arrived Sat 12:45 pm and opted to sit at the bar. 4/28 - 5/12 is Dine LA Restaurant Week so got that $25 lunch special. I enjoyed all of my meal, good portions and the meat (juicy) I enjoyed most in this order: lamb, chicken, ribs. Regular menu looks reasonably priced considering how fancy/nice the restaurant and staff are.

This place is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. The food is fantastic. Unauthentic may steer off some people, but its an honest admission that the chefs have taken liberties and steered off authentic recipes, but what results is delicious. The popular dish seems to be Butter Chicken Pot Pie, with its flaky outer pastry crust hiding a delicious butter chicken inside. However the big winner for our group was the Sticky Ribs. We tried a few drinks as well, including an old fashioned and a mango margarita which were both typical but with a hint of Indian spices. The service was super friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Would definitely come here again!
