The Melrose Chicken wrap is delicious! It comes with Italian dressing. I personally like the Buffalo sauce to give it a little kick. I was pleasantly surprised to see they gave me a drumstick, and thigh to try. Overall great meal!

Honestly, this place knows how to run a restaurant. Their online ordering system just works. My order is ALWAYS ready. When I pull up, a kind employee brings the food right out to my car. Even if the pick-up line looks long, they always move quickly. Oh, and their food is amazing!Thank you for your hard work and dedication to serving your customers!

My husband always brings home CCC after the gym. This is his go-to spot. 91 Wrap, Chinese Chicken, & Mae ploy sauce.Everyone was so accommodating. A few days ago we met Shawn, he was a gem. Fantastic guy. Great overall experience!

CCC is always my go-to for a quick bite after the gym. My wife and I order the 91 wrap and Chinese Chicken. We are always blown away by the value and quality here.Everyone was good to us from start to finish. But, today’s meal was special, because of the warm service of the gentleman that brought us our food. He greeted us kindly and even took the time to say hello to our newborn. He had so much charisma and an amazing smile to match.I believe his name was Shawn. Glorious beard. Great guy! As I was leaving, you look towards the work area and you can tell that people love working with this guy. Thank you CCC West Hills, I’m a raving fan. I’ll be back next week.

This place was amazing before COVID, then the manager or owner lost his or her mind or something and they werent letting people eat inside its gone drastically downhill since. The food isnt bad The place is just falling apart and theyre not taking cash, 😞 The whole Communist new world order cashless thing kinda kills it for me, Its really strange how they push everybody in the back as far away from the employees as possible and do so aggressively. Its become a very strange place to eat.. 🤣

The food was awesome. I got a chicken salad. Its was big and filling. Parking is a bit tough as its set up for drive through. You still have to order covid style - outside with an attendant and then you may sit inside. Half of the inside tables are blocked off, but sufficient tables were available.

Since the pandemic they have shut down most of the dining area. They make you order in front of the restaurant outside and then tell you to enter at rear of the building. Everyone is still wearing masks as if the mandate was still active. All food served in disposable containers creating a huge amount of waste. Used to have real plates and utensils. The food is good but ambiance and comfortable atmosphere is gone. The corporate leadership must be cold blooded or mean. I hope they make it like it used to be before it’s too late.

The Chinese chicken salad is my favorite. Ill take any salad really, but the dressing for the Chinese chicken salad is so refreshing. If Im ever in this area I make sure I pick up a couple. So sad when I get there too late cause they close early. The southwest is my 2nd choice! Try them both!

Why have I never been to a California Chicken Cafe before?Ive had food from CCC, but this was the first Ive ever been to a CCC. The food was incredible as always, the staff was courteous and polite, the restaurant was clean, and I had an incredible experience overall.I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Only two downsides were the parking (it gets busy during lunch, though finding a table inside is no problem) and the vegetable soup this time had SUCH big chunks of veggies in them... 1-1.5 inch cubes of potatoes and squash.. so it made it difficult to navigate through the soup..

I really wanted to like this place but if they continue this way its only a matter of time until they go out of business. Theyre almost too scared to be in business. No indoor dining. You have to order outside in the cold. The employees all have to wear masks. The parking lot is backwards and confusing. I got the half chicken with two sides, squash and potatoes. The chicken and squash were almost totally flavorless. The potatoes were mediocre. I will say that their red and green salsas were actually very good. Unfortunately, i wont be eating them again. They no longer offer any combos. Each smallest size side is 3.25+. Its not good enough to justify these prices. And making your employees wear masks at this point makes me sick. Havent you read the news? Or maybe you stopped watching the news when they told you to be scared, and havent heard that everything they told us was a lie. Shameful!

I like coming here but last couple of times my order was completely wrong and then this time I decided to add avocado they only put it in half the pita sandwich and had two small pieces. One piece had the skin on it when I bit into it the edge of the peal cut my gums. Wasnt expecting that at all. Its a shame it was great the first few times I went but my order is wrong or this type if thing happened today.

Maybe because of COVID we had to make our choices outside on a cold, windy evening. Wonder if they sanitize the menu screen after each customer. I moved inside while husband paid and was told Id come in the wrong door. There were few other patrons, but we couldnt sit just anywhere. The food came out promptly and the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. The chicken was a bit too well done.

The food is simple yet delicious. Tbh, Id expect a slightly larger chicken size for what theyre charging, but if thats what they need to sustain, so be it. The only complaint is that they have closed their stores dine in. You cant go inside. Order online or at a stand outside like its still lockdowns or something. They also no longer accept cash. This has cut my CCC consumption down at least 70%, but when I think ahead, I do enjoy a lovely meal from there. Just in my car or at home 😂

The order process is ridiculous. Order outside on a hand held device rather than a regular menu. It was difficult to really see what feed items they had.They bring food to your table in a to go bad. A place I have reviewed before, but this time I tried their take-out. An experience to go through. Dont have a menu or your phone. They have a tablet with every single thing on there menu. It is pretty much the same process with the difference being you eat at the establishment, or wait in your car to have the food the brought to you, and enjoyed at home. 102 degrees outside, waited in line, needed to use QR code on cellphone to order and their prices changed with their main courses and sides are extra from what they used too. The employees were fine actually so no issue there. The two issues were their mashed potatoes were boxed tasting and watered down on flavor so we threw one full side of those potatoes in the trash. The other problem is that when you eat in the dinning room you are fully limited to sharing the long white tables if the other smaller tables are taken, which they were. The sides counters are okay if you like the metal chairs up high and they are not taken as well. The other 15plus tables are closed and sectioned off which counters the the idea of separating people from each other while putting everyone in one room that can and will be overcrowded. To make things worse is those customers who drove to eat in could be disappointed if forced to leave if that room is overcrowded. Not a well established place anymore and the drive to the location was far and not worth the next trip. The chicken was fine so I see no reason for those who like chicken to come here. Enjoy!

Ive been eating here for a long time and love it. The food is healthy and high quality. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. They mostly have great chicken and lots of side dish options. They also have a large variety of unique iced tea flavors and they taste great. They also have little self serve flavored ices for free. It does get a little crowded but the line moves fast. You get your food in a cafeteria style line and then choose your own table and they bring your food. The cashiers are pleasant and efficient. Their prices are increasing lately but that seems to be everywhere. It costs about $25-30 for two of us to eat here. There is usually a place to park in their lot.

California Chicken Cafe is really great if you want some quick healthy food. What I really like about this place is that the food is really fresh but also really natural. I dont taste any fake additives or preservatives. They have a great variety of side dishes but I usually go for the hot potatoes or the rice pilaf. Both are amazing. I have never ordered any wraps from California Chicken Cafe, but I have heard they are good. I have always gotten just the rotisserie chicken. Often times I order a whole chicken and two sides for lunch, eat half, and save the rest for dinner. It is very affordable, especially with the quality of the food. It can be difficult to find healthy food for this price and especially that is this convenient. Ever since they opened the Topanga Canyon location, I have been eating there more often. Its in the perfect place for me to get there easily. They built a new store for this location, and it is clean and modern looking. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because I never feel surprised or adventurous when looking at the menu. I get the same thing every time, and I know exactly what I am going to get before I even get there. That being said, I am never disappointed by what I get from this place. It is definitely one of those places where what you see is what you get, and what you get is very good.

But today I decided since I was in the neighborhood Id just stop an order in person so I could see the menu in person (personal preference)WRONG. I still had to look up the menu on line to order. Nice to have a view with their huge glass window. This place is close to my work, and I eat at CCC quite often. The only thing that bugs me about the place is the rainbow-like paint on the side of the building. Ever since they remodeled, the outside looks like a toy store for little kids. The inside is still the same, and the food is great. If youve never tried their chicken, you havent lived. Its basically perfectly seasoned and soft rotisserie chicken with a variety of sides like salads, potatoes with onions, rice, broccoli, etc. at very reasonable prices. The calorie information is conveniently provided, and the ordering process is simple. Ive never had trouble finding parking at this location. Theres a free self-serve shaved ice machine with a variety of syrups next to it. The bathrooms are usually clean.

This location is quite new, since it has opened in 2012. My mom and I frequent this location more often now, at least twice a week. The ambience is quite chic and modern with its fashionable tables, seating areas, and light fixtures. What makes this location unique is the ice machine, it makes shaved ice!!!! my mom loves shaved ice. So, California Chicken Cafe offering shaved ice for free makes my family happy campers. Even though it gets super busy, the seating is very accommodating. The only negative thing that I might have to say is the parking is unbelievably horrible. Especially the parking that faces the restaurant. Overall, the restaurant is quite nice. I enjoy dining here. I have taken one of my friends here. I feel like a regular eating here. ahh.. oh.. the salsa is to die for, I can grab a bowl and just grub on salsa... not hot at all, very sweet... yummy!!!

I eat lunch here at least once a week, and I really like their food and service. My only two complaints are with special instructions and packaging. Though the food usually comes out right, you often get condiments or standard extras even when you explicitly ask to not get them, even when its not during the lunch rush. Also, their bags are not marked as recyclable, which I think should be standard now for any quality restaurant.

Ill go there at least once a week and get the California Chicken Salad for lunch because it is so close to my office. I learned real fast to call a head otherwise I dont have much time left in my lunch hour to actually get back to the office and eat. There is a specific area for to-go orders but thats not always open so you end up having to wait in the long line for those dinning in. Theres also been times where Ive tried calling to order ahead and no one answers the phone. I refuse to go there without ordering ahead! As for the food, Theres been a couple of occasions where the chicken didnt appear to be fully cooked so I ended up picking it out of the salad or they have forgotten to include the dressing, which is extremely frustrating when you dont realize it until you get back to the office. A salad with no dressing kind of sucks. Now I make it a point to check for the dressing in the bag. Overall not a bad place but it does have its occasional issues. Parking can be a pain too if you going during the lunch rush, which I dont recommend.

Tip: Order your chicken whole..1/4 or 1/2..the chicken is fresh and flavorful. Personally Id stay away from wraps and salads as the chicken is cut up and tends to be dry and tasteless. Left without ordering. My husband is disabled and cant walk far or stand for long periods of time, so I parked in the handicap spot and put up his plaque. But I was told by a rather rude young person that I had to move my car because the handicap spot was for people picking up their orders not for handicapped people and I was blocking the spot. My favorite ccc location. Even though there are two ccc closer to my place, I only come here. For the good food, service, cleanliness, plenty of tables n parking. All in all perfect :)
