This has to be one of the best fast casual restaurants for pasta in California. I have never had a pasta dish here I didn’t like. I think the California pasta is the best elegantly light pastas with the white wine sauce. I also really love the zucchini noodle pastas here. Not sure how you got the right texture and perfect shape but don’t stop! Picture is the zucchini noodles with avocado sauce from the store menu.

Great spot for casual Italian downtown!We came here as a group and enjoyed how much variety was on the menu. The portions were massive and definitely fill you up. It says it in the name - don’t come here if you’re expecting authentic Italian, but definitely a worthy stop if you love hearty pasta plates in a casual place!We tried the Santa Barbara spicy shrimp and a basic Fettucini Alfredo with chicken. I’ll be honest - both dishes were super heavy and kind of put you in a food coma afterwards. If that’s the goal - mission accomplished! Personally, I might prefer something a bit more light and less in-your-face. Taste was alright but nothing special.Nonetheless, friendly service and an incredibly convenient location for group hands! Outdoor seating is a plus - check it out!

We were actually on our way to another sandwhich shop I found online when we walked past this gem. The wonderful aroma coming from California Pasta coupled with the amazing plated we saw people enjoying changed our destination. We definitely made the right choice. We had the Philly cheesesteak sandwhich and chicken club sandwhich. The meat was cooked perfectly, flavor out of this world and the bread was amazing. Their clam chowder was also amazing and had a non-traditional seasoning/herb which really elevated it to the next level. Super sweet people working there as well and great outdoor atmosphere. We will definitely be back when we visit again.

I’ve never had anything so bad in Santa Barbara. I didn’t know you could mess up something as simple as chicken Alfredo this bad, but California pasta has found a way. The “sauce” was crumbled and as dry as the pasta that seemed to have been cooked days in advance. The chicken was just embarrassing. Probably baked over two days ago, dry and tasteless. There was no seasoning, no care or intelligence placed into this food. It was utterly disgusting. The soggy, over-dressed romaine with three croutons in it disappointed me even further as I was just hoping to have a reasonable salad (side salad is nearly $7). This was sad.

A lot to choose from the menu. Definitely get the pasta with the avocado sauce. It was really nice to sit outside and the place its located in the best area of Santa Barbara.

Think twice before you order spicy shrimp pasta. It was very spicy. I love spicy foods but that much spice in pasta made me sweat. Seafood pasta is also average there is no special sauce in it. Everything was average for us. Very patient employees

Visiting from out of town and my daughter wanted Italian for lunch as we were walking around State st. Came across this gem. We ordered the jalapeno fettuccine Alfredo to share. So delicious. Plenty of food for both of us. We will be back.
