California Pizza Kitchen in Manhattan Beach

Went to a few other locations before but this one by far gives the best service. Our server was Kathleen. She took care of our table so well and all of the dishes she recommended were great! First time trying Carne Asada Pizza and woww it was surprisingly delicious! Highly recommended this location. Good vibes, great service and of course food is always delicious!

This is a solid place for a pizza, even though they are a bit pricy for the size of the pie you get. Maybe the Manhattan Beach location just figures they have the clientele that will pay up. The venue is nice but the menu is limited. I hoped for more options. My pizza (pepperoni and sausage) was good.VictorB

Update!!! ( June 2023)Lunch is a fantastic deal For $8.99, I chose the Soup and Salad: Thai Crunch Salad and Tomato Bisque Soup. This was the perfect portion for me. My husband chose the 7pizza and Salad. $12.49 and he really enjoyed his combo too!We sat at the bar and Brittany served us with a smile! Her co worker Zaid was great too! This CPK has a nice contemporary decor and flow. The staff here work hard.I signed up for their CPK Rewards program and I recommend doing this! You get a free starter when you sign up, and you get perks!====We came here at lunch time during a work week, but we were able to be seated promptly!The menu has a lot of healthy options. My friend and I ordered the bowls. She ordered the Santa Fe Bowl and I ordered the Banh Mi Bowl. We loved these bowls and would order these again.The staff is friendly and checked up on us often.They have a very cute cat robot delivery machine that brings food to your table. Sometimes the staff will come over and take the food from the shelves and place it on the table. Other times, I have seen the customer taking the food themselves from the cat.CPK is located on the north end of the Manhattan Village Mall and it in a separate detached building.Free parking at the mall.

CPK has always been a favorite place of ours. It has been a while since our last visit and it did not disappoint us. 🙌 We spinach artichoke dip and dumplings. The artichoke dip was very tasty nice sized artichokes and very creamy. Dumplings had a nice zest to it. Jambalaya had a very thick sauce with lots of andouille sausage and shrimps cooked to perfection. They have a robot 🤖 that runs the salads and other items to the table. Allowing the server to come up and place the plates on your table. The hostess and our server were very nice and welcoming. Prices have gone up, we will be back.

Upscale casual vibe. Nice booths. Inside and outside seating. Large friendly counter bar with multiple sports screens.

Your casual dining in Manhattan Beach but very tasty and great variety of food and drinks. It can be a quick bite or a full on dinner/ lunch experience. Food is always tasty and there is always some delicious changes on the menu. Appetizer small pizzas are delicious! Pasta is always a great choice, especially Jambalaya. Service is kind courteous and attentive. They also got the little robots going around helping. Cute!

Our waitress was so nice and attentive. The food was great. The pizza came out a bit slow but it wasn’t a huge deal. It was super satisfying. We got the five cheese and tomatoe pizza and a half Thai crunch salad to share between two people. I was worried the Thai crunch salad would be dressed to heavily - I usually like asking for dressing in the side when I get salads because sometimes they overdress it but was pleasantly satisfied with the amount of the dressing. It tasted really good and it was nice to have before the pizza. The pizza’s crust was also fresh and good. We came hungry and left pretty satisfied. The bread and oil were tasty too. Highly recommend coming here for a lunch if you’re in Manhattan village! The pizza and salad are a bit on the pricier side though, for the size of it.

I think this was my last visit to CPK. The menu is so limited now and they removed several of my favorites from their menu. They are also using 2 robots to deliver food which obviously reduces employment.Since I didnt find an entree that I liked, I ended up with a bowls of soup and spinach and artichoke dip. Not really a meal but the only things left on the menu that I like.Our server was excellent so no complaints there.We were seated outside close to sunset and were told that it wasnt possible to put a shade down so the sun was directly in my eyes. I moved to another seat at the table but it was still hard to see the people on the west side of the table. At one point I could see someone at the adjacent restaurant putting their shade down.
