While visiting Disney we ate at the California Pizza kitchen in Anaheim. The experience was okay.For a family of four the total cost with tip was around $72 which does be anything youll find in the park.The first table we sat at had a dirty seat so we changed tables. The next table was wobbly but the waiter did help us take care of it. The floors were dirty and many tables went uncleaned for quite a while. So in regards to the atmosphere we just werent that impressed. The food was pretty good and they do have gluten-free options. We had a gluten-free barbecue chicken pizza which was mediocre and a little bit on the well done side.There are so many dining options in the area that I probably wouldnt visit this place again it fell into the average range.

Everyone at this location deserves a raise. Went in today with a friend to enjoy some lunch. I was made aware the server was the only one working and couldn’t take on to much. He advised a wait will happen of 20-30 minutes. We weren’t in any rush so that was okay. 2 more employees came on the clock and saved the day and started knocking out orders and getting people seated. 5 stars to the man who was our server, bartender and cook. Thank you for positive outstanding guest service.

We went to CPK for a late lunch/early dinner after being at the Disney Parks all day. Upon arriving we were seated right away and our waiter came over to introduce himself. He gave us water, some small bread sticks and olive oil to dip. We ordered the food we wanted and it came out very quick! Our waiter Cameron was so nice, attentive and friendly!! The food was fresh and delicious and the service was amazing! It was a very nice experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We went to this branch during weekend there was huge line we waited almost 45 min to get our seat so be sure to make reservations ahead of time. Food was good. Drinks were delightful. But it took them long time to get our food on the table. After finishing our dinner to get our bill we had to wait 15 mins. Who has so much time to waste in restaurant. So for that I took away 2 stars.

I brought my family to have a late lunch here during Labor Day weekend, after leaving the Fire and ice restaurant upstairs, due to the terrible service we received at Fire and ice. The manager at this location was very friendly and provided great service. The food was freshly cooked and they had some great deals as well. We enjoyed our dining experience at this location.

A nice restaurant in an even nicer location. Went with some friends. I got the spaghetti because Im lactose intolerant. The spaghetti was really good, and I took some home as take out and it still tastes good that evening. It also wasnt heavy on the garlic, so you dont need to worry about getting garlic breath for the rest of the day.However, only complaint is that the bread they give you before the main meal was very chewy. But not in a soft way. It was hard and dry on the outside, and a little dry and very chewy on the inside. Basically the bread seemed old.

I went to this location a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday evening, and it was a little crowded but not bad. The hostess, whose name I didnt get, was a little rude. We asked for patio seating, but they said its only for people with dogs, so it was empty aside from one small party. After 20 minutes or so, we ended up sitting at the bar, which was not comfortable for me at all. The bar tender was nice and pleasant.

Awesome service!! We are gluten-free family (newbies) and visited this restaurant on our trip to Disney. Our server explained our options and we ordered gluten-free pizza (the BEST we ever had!) The manager even came to our table and educated us about their food prep and dedication to gluten safety. THIS RESTAURANT IS SHOULD BE THE MODEL FOR ALL OTHERS!

In Anaheim for a conference, and went for a late dinner (8-ish). We werent sure if it would be crowded from Disney tourists, but Google said wait time was 5 to 10 min. When we walked in, we were immediately seated! The restaurant was about half seated.Then we sat, unattended, for many, many minutes, without water service, no check in, no bread, nothing. By the time we were approached, we were ready to order everything. Then water, bread, drinks rolled out.Ive never had terrible food at CPK, and this visit was no exception. Although, you cant really make bad pizza or bad salad. The only issue was a salad mix up, but the salad eaters were hungry and flexible, so they worked it out. The waitress easily split the check, with alcohol separate for reimbursement purposes.The restaurant didnt seem welcoming or cozy and as we dined, they were cleaning like they were closing. But they were open for 2 more hours. That made me feel rushed, like it was really late when it wasnt.

We came here instead of Ihop for late dinner after checking into our hotel and were all super hungry! The hostess lacked any sort of customer service skills which should’ve been our first red flag. She said it would be a 5-10 min wait for 4 of us even though there were about 10 tables available. We sat down and looked at the menu and were set to order some mac and cheese for our picky kids but found out they weren’t serving any pasta… something they could’ve mentioned at the door before even seating us. The food was not the best quality and I actually got sick once we walked back to the hotel which I sadly knew would happen once I tried the food.The best part of the experience was our server, she was lovely.I Would unfortunately not recommend this restaurant.

I would advise to join the rewards program because you can get a free pizza like this every time the dodgers win cant complain about that even being an angels fan and a huge shout out to Fernando and Adan for being so informative and their hospitality skills are above and beyond this will be a great spot to take family and friends will definitely be stopping by again soon. 🍕 🍕

I was told not to come here by locals and went against their judgment and ordered dinner anyways. Well I wish I listened to them because the food was absolutely horrible. They have gone down big time and now I see why they closed all their restaurants in my state. If you want really good pizza go across the street from them to Blaze Pizza.Only reason they got a 2 stars is because my wife and I met each other working for CPK 16 years ago!! But saddened how its gone down hill over the years!! RIP CPK!!

Would give 0 if I could. I ordered takeout at the Anaheim Gardenwalk location and the food was beyond disappointing and not worth what I paid for. I ordered the shrimp scampi zucchini which was $21 and what I got was not worth even half that. The zucchini was barely cook, there was no seasoning, no cheese, no flavor. The dish literally tasted and looked like unseasoned boiled pasta with unseasoned boiled zucchini and unseasoned boiled shrimp. It was a watery on the bottom of the container. If I want a plate of unseasoned bland boiled mess of pasta and zucchini i could’ve done it at home. On top of that, the host was completely ignoring us even though i had checked in on our order. It wasn’t until my boyfriend asked “can I just grab my own order or do you need to do anything else?” did she finally looked at him and goes “oh yea, just grab it”.

My friend and I went here on a Friday evening around 6:30 and there was no wait. Our host was friendly and the server (Jordan) was excellent. I have Celiac so I had to ask for a separate oven for my gluten free pizzas. He made sure to tell the chef and he even offered to take the bread away. But I said, Thats ok, my friend can eat it. 😉 We shared 2 pizzas and they were both delicious! I didnt have an upset stomach the next day and that doesnt always happen after eating at a restaurant. The service was efficient and our server even checked to see if there were any gluten free dessert options (sadly there werent, but thats ok). It was overall a good experience & we really enjoyed it!

I hosted a University of California (UC) dinner for colleagues from various UC campuses and the UC Office of President on Monday, October 16, 2023. The restaurant manager, Nick, was absolutely amazing with customer service from the first phone call to the moment my group paid and left the venue on the 16th. Both Heather and Karl were friendly and attentive with the group’s food and drink orders. A BIG THANK YOU to Nick, Heather, Karl, and the rest of the CPK staff for a wonderful dining experience. The hostess takes us to table no silverware only menus I ask for crayons for my kids she states let me ask to see if we have any I go check minutes later the gm calles states they are out. My server was great and friendly Spencer. We order our food and appetizers. My husbands lemon piccata was watery and bland, not what he’s used to from our CPK’s in Las Vegas. We ask for dessert and they are out of the seasonal strawberry shortcake so we decide no on dessert. We ask for our check and pay, mind you we payed the same amount we payed days prior at the neighboring cheesecake factory and were completely let down with our experience. We head to the restrooms before leaving and man oh man it was such a horror. They looked like a biohazard. From the back of the toilets being soiled in feces dust and bodily fluids to the floors being completely disgusting then to top it off the sinks were slow draining due to hair and build up. I asked to speak to the GM CALLES he stated he apologized for the systems in place that weren’t followed through I clearly stated that tables weren’t being bussed for more than a half hour after guest had left all while having tons of employees just standing and looking at their phones. He just said sorry all I can say is this place needs proper leadership and direction standards as well .

Came here to take some delicious food photos and try some new dishes. This time around I tried their Thai chicken pizza, Jamaican jerk chicken pizza, as well as their Mexican street corn and spicy buffalo cauliflower appetizers. All of these things were amazing. I also just realized as I am typing this that 3 of the 4 dishes are named after foreign countries. Guess I was feeling extra exotic today as well.I normally dont care for cauliflower but their Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower tastes exactly like boneless buffalo chicken wings. So that way you can be like me and pretend youre eating healthy because theyre vegetables.The street corn was great but I felt like the portion was too small, even for an appetizer. Looks like one small scoop of corn.The pizzas are where its at though. The Jamaican Jerk Chicken tastes just like pizza with slightly spicy beef jerky on top. How can you go wrong? The Thai chicken is one of the best Ive tried. Ive had Thai chicken at other pizza parlors but this one is the best so far. I cant wait to go back and try the rest.Best part is this restaurant is in the front of the Anaheim GardenWalk and right on top of 3 Pokestops. You can enjoy some delicious pizza and hit all 3 stops simultaneously every 5 minutes.

The food was good but took forever. Something Id expect from CPK but doesnt make it great. Service was the big issue. Not even half full restaurant and yet it took forever to get anything. Pizza was delivered to our table by a different server who had to get our plates and silverware while our server talked with other employees at the front desk. We really enjoyed this location! They had amazing service from their host to our server Josh that kept our group of 8 in high spirits and made great suggestions. I ordered a Cobb Salad that was piled high with all the fixings and we shared a Thai chicken pizza and a carne asada pizza - Josh suggested putting salsa verde on it and it was amazing. All of the food was warm and fresh and our beverages were well attended to. A few of our guests walked out with an ice tea and a coke to go at no extra charge. Would have normal given four stars but when a location goes to that extent to take care of its guests, they deserve a five.

After reading some other reviews, I was hesitant to eat here, but it was fabulous. Service was friendly and quick. Drinks were gorgeous and right on. The pizza was and wontons were good. I was even surprised to get freshly grated parmesan. We would happily repeat that experience the next time we visit. We were there at about 9:00 pm in the middle of the week.

My worst experience at California Pizza Kitchen. At first sight, I identified several warnings there were many people waiting (they appeared to be frustrated)... no host at the front, there appeared to be many tables available, there were five tables that had not been cleared and the previous guests plates, silverware and trash had not been cleared. Eventually when a host was available he wrote my name on the second page and quoted me 15 minutes for a party of two...I thought this was strange because there was additional room on the first page. As, I waited an extended period much more than my quoted 15 minutes and three guests with larger parties who checked in after me were seated. I asked an employee why the other guests were seated before when I was there before them and the employee stated that this did not happen and completely discredit my experience. I asked employee to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. I was absolutely stunned...I then asked him why he would discredit and or be dismissive in regards to a guest experience. My perception is my reality...The manager then apologized after I addressed this with him in private and away from my daughter. I ordered an avocado egg roll appetizer, an adult entree of Mac and cheese, and the tequila chicken pasta. The food did not meet the quality standards that I have previously experience and that I have become accustomed to at California Pizza Kitchen. I will never visit this establishment, I have been a customer for over 20 years. I have my receipt to prove this experience and you have your labor reports, access to ttendance records, and video to identify my event. I was there in the afternoon.

They made our party wait over 1 1/2 hours and we had to approach them about setting They had no idea what they were doing, we sat down and had to wait 17 mins before we had to flag down a staff member for water. Jacob was our server and we really enjoyed our meal.The night before, we went to Cheesecake Factory next door with our 17 month old and they weren’t very welcoming.Whereas, California pizza kitchen had a high chair plus kids menu and crayons ready to keep the little one busy. The food was fast (which is great at dinner time with a little one) and tasted great. We might come back during our Disney stay - not a huge fan of waiting in line at restaurants though with a toddler. Adding a reservation system through yelp or open table would be amazing!

Eduardo at the bar was a grand gentleman ... they had a wonderful IPA on tap, the pizzas were top notch [especially the sciciliano thin crust crispy] ... incredibly priced in the disney-circus neighborhood. Even with all the screaming kids, if you sit at the bar, ask for Eduardo and decide to enjoy this disneyesque environment, a splendid choice. Not sure I would want to do a group there, but as a single business traveler wanting to unwind without being sequestered in some overpriced environment in which you can only stare at the linen [no linen here] this was an enjoyable, relaxing, and fulfilling experience with great great pizza.

Pizzas were very tasty - I highly recommend the shrimp and scampi pizza but as soon as I had finished my last mouthful our server then placed our check on the table?! My family and I enjoyed eating here because the food is delicious! The only thing was there was not much of a long wait list but it took forever to get called to get seated. When I noticed that another person that arrived 20 minutes after me was being called to get seated I got up to see why my name wasnt called and when the host checked the list my name was crossed off. I sat inside and they never called my name so I was upset and the funny part was the man that arrived AFTER ME was bothered because I went up to complain. I was like man just relax Ive been waiting much longer than you! Looks like the hosts need to be more careful and maybe update on how they check their wait list!

I ordered from this location on uber eats. I spent over $100 and for each entree I selected a side of ranch. Once I placed the order I called to confirm they received it and asked if they could ensure that I receive the ranch. My delivery came and there was no ranch. Hello, me and my family really like CPK because there is amazing food and amazing service. For the first time we went to a CPK restaurant which the service was horrible let me explain what happened,1. They seated us, and the table was not clean, so we asked them to clean it. They never cleaned our table.2. We asked for bread and the waitress said that she forgot to bring the bread, and when they gave us the bread it was cold, dry, and not fresh at all. So we asked for more fresh bread which is fresh and she brought bread that again was cold and dry. We asked “why is the bread cold? We asked for warm bread?” She replied “the kitchen is busy so they couldn’t make warm bread.3. The first order came without utensils or plates we asked them to give us, and it took them 20 minutes to give us less plates than we asked for. So, we asked for one more plate which never came.4. In the pasta that we ordered there was hair on it which is not safe.5. Last thing, every single time we wanted something we had to go to them and ask for it for example, we wanted to order the food we had to go to them and ask them for it, we wanted to get drinks we had to go to them and ask them, and to get refills again we had to go ask them. And the manager, just gave us the bill without us asking for it. It felt like he wanted us to leave.

The food was fantastic I highly recommend the carne asada pizza. Its why it got the 2 stars,the customer service on the other hand was deplorable. I had Callahan as a server it was just a horrible experience for me. We asked for boxes and a dessert menu. She brought me the check and completely forgot I wanted dessert. So then I added dessert and then she left the building. All of this was happening and half of my table hadnt finish eating. So when they wanted dessert I already had the check, couldnt find Callahan to order anything else. I had to flag her down to refill my club soda and I really felt like I was the one bothering her, instead of her doing her being my waitress. So she finally returned to the building after a good 7 mins of being on the phone outside. I went to her to add all the desserts for the table to go. Now she was extremely apologetic, but it was still a bad experience none the less. As im waiting for her to finish with my card so I can finally finish paying the bill. Another male server basically runs into me, worst part no excuse me or my bad and just kept walking. I had to say excuse me sir, his excuse why he barreled through me was he didnt want to disturb me. So running me over is okay saying excuse me isnt. So finally the disaster was over I was able to leave. The manager needs to do some serious retraining of a customer first environment. On top of that the place was dead empty. There was no reason the service should have been this bad.

I am very upset! CPK is on of my favorites! I placed a lunch order for me and my family today on postmates. Ordered 4 items- 2 pizzas, tomatoe basil bisque, and spaghetti. When the order arrived i only received 2 items (the two pizzas).I call in and speak to the manager Adan, he says if I place the order again with only the missing items (the tomato basil bisque and spaghetti) he will make sure its correct. Well guess what... just received the order and its incorrect AGAIN! I received two spaghetti plates instead of my tomato basil bisque. I was told Vanessa is working the take out orders and he specifically told her to make sure my order was correct, so this review is for her and the manager Adan, who said he would make sure its correct.I am pregnant and specifically ordered CPK today to satisfy my craving for the tomatoe basil bisque. The rest was for my family. I am very disappointed! Not to mention, I spent $98 on the first order and $70 on the second order (that includes tax, delivery fees and services fees). So frustrating!

Me and a few friends I met at a convention I was going to were trying to find some place to eat and came across this place. Id never tried it so I was pretty excited. It was very busy, but we got a table after maybe a half an hour wait, which wasnt bad for the area, all things considered, lol.Im pretty sure our server was... James, I want to say? I hope that was his name because his service was wonderful and I want to shout him out specifically! There were a few mix ups with our food because of how crazy busy it was, but he was always quick to notice and then fix it as soon as he was able, and was very friendly to boot. Near the end of the night, I asked if he could include some plastic utensils with my to-go bag since my motel room didnt have cups or utensils, and he came back with an entire bag full of napkins, utensils, and two different types of cups, lol. Loved getting to meet him and would gladly go to CPK again just to chitchat with him again, haha.Food and drink-wise, everything was quite good! Lots of unique sorts of pizzas Id never heard of or tried before, and while I didnt have as many of the drinks as Id originally wanted to, the ones I did have were wonderful.Definitely recommend this place if youre looking for somewhere casual to grab a bite!

She was nice enough but to have the attitude that she prefer to need to do all the roles garuntees her more money, at the sacrifice of over all Customer service is the wrong attitude to have, in my opinion. Cocktail had to be remade (likely to running thin) but was corrected and good. Pizzas came out great and mine (Thai) was probably the best Ive ever had at any CPK.

Took 10 mintues to get someone to come up and ask what we wanted to drink, and it was just the host guy, not even our waitress. I ordered just a coke, juice for my son, kids pizza meal, and lunch special 7 inch pizza and caesar salad. 35 minutes later, food comes out. Both pizzas were cold, salad tasted like a mix of caesar and bleu cheese. Basically done the meal and the waitress makes her first appearance and I tell her the situation. In her defense, she was literally the only server there for about 6-7 different tables. It was so bad that the other tables werent bussed while I was there, the dirty plates just sat there. I brought all of this to her attention and she offered a discount, I refused but she did it anyway and i ended up tipping her the amount she discounted because i felt bad for her. Fast forward to later that night and i have explosive diarrhea and now think my dressing was rotten or something because i dont even remember blue cheese as an option. Not the servers fault, but the worst experience and will NEVER GO BACK.

The service is very professional and available. You wont have a problem getting their attention to bring you anything you desire. At those prices on the menu they will bill you for 2 employees daily wages feeding a regular family of 4. The pizza is over priced and under sized. But the atmosphere and quality inn a whole is, if you have a $100 for dinner then youre perfect meal awaits you. They validate parking also, make sure you dont forget to bring your parking voucher in with you.

Came here for lunch. Loved the staff! (Sat at the bar top). If it werent for them, we probably would have left after the first 20 minutes of waiting on our food. Yummiest gourmet pizzas around and awesome service! I remember trying their BBQ chicken pizza when they first opened (yes decades ago) and the quality of their food has not changed. Came here on a Saturday evening, there was a 40 minute wait which was fine since the garden walk has much to offer and see. When we finally made restaurant it looked nice and clean however the hand sanitizers in the front to use before entering were empty. I had the tortilla soup which was okay. Very greasy with the ham. The ckn sandwich tasted rather old. The side of bread they gave us was hard as a brick. Should not have even put it in the bag. The pizzas here are great. They have a variety of toppings if you are creating your own pizza. The service here is reasonably fast. You can get drinks. It is walking distance from Disneyland. This place has good seating and a lot of it if you want to sit down for your meal. It is not expensive to eat here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Honestly, I dont see how it has the 4.1 Stars that it currently has on Google. My wife and I had this for dinner tonight. We ordered the mac and cheese bites oh, they were soaked with grease and the pasta on the inside was tough. Our pizzas were extraordinarily Bland and the crust was tough. They tasted like they just served us some of their freezer pizzas you can buy at the store. The only reason Im giving it to stars is because our waiter took the macaroni bites off of our bill. I had a promo on my app so I went to this one by disneyland. The food was so good, Mexican street corn was the best ever and Im a fan of the Asian style cauliflower. I had the flatbread with shaved cheese and spinach but added chicken; it was seemed to be after thought of the chicken. I spied that another table had the strawberry shortcake but with biscuits; the biscuit was tender and even topped with sanding sugar for sparkle. Unfortunately, my experience at this CPK was not the usual fabulous experience I have in Utah. My lemonade was awful and I sent it back. They didnt have bread to bring us so we got some really boring tasteless pita bread instead. They ran out of butter...what restaurant runs out of butter? Plus, they ran out of mac and cheese for my friend and offered her kid menu mac and cheese. I understand that they were super busy with all the convention traffic but dont the restaurants gear up for that? I have never had such a bad experience as I had at this CPK so Im not writing them off my list...usually they are dead on with service...but hey folks...get your act together !!! I went to cpk at Anaheim and, first of all, two people outside were having fun smoking meth. (The kids were there) Second of the food took 90 minutes just to come. We are a group of 10 we were promised a table in 15 min and ended up to be a 40 min wait. We finally got a table outside as we requested ... it was dark and the lamps needed maintenance ... we decided to ordered ... our orders included soups, appetizers, pizzas amd entries ... after a long wait all orders were rushed in together ... the soup and salad came in last! Food was cold and the thin and crispy pizza was saggy and far from crispy. Restaurant business is about curtsy and ambient seating and not only about feeding the crowds CPK Anaheim, CA. branch is still short learned on this side of things and need to learn more about it. If I am looking for a quality time out in a group I am going to avoid this place all together.

This is an amazing restaurant with wonderful people. My wife and I dined here when we were attending blizzcon and we had some problems with our debit card charging funny, first it negated the tip we left, then it double charged the card, yet the management we talked to the whole time were super understanding and helpful. Even though Im sure it was less on their end and probably something to do with our bank, we were offered a complimentary meal by a manager named Mike on the evening before we had to leave, and from the manager, and the hostess to the server to the wonderful food, it was an amazing experience. Our first server was was a nice girl named sterling, the second time it was a gentleman named brandon and he took very good care of us. Also wanted to give credit to the hostess sabrina, she was always so energetic and happy, it set the whole mood for our time here. We plan to come back to anaheim next year for blizzcon and they will definitely be seeing us again.P.S. As we are not accustomed to taking free things we tried to be minimal in our selections, but we were even offered dessert on top of a lovely meal... Best night ever.

My suggestion is do not go to the GardenWalk in Anaheim if you need to park your car in their parking garage. It just took us 55 minutes to exit.It felt like we were being help hostage and could not leave. it took each car so long to exit and one three exit gates open and the garage staff were doing nothing to help the cars exit quickly.

I have had CPK pizza before, but have never eaten at a location. So we were at the Garden Walk and happened in here.The pizza was really good, can you expect less. We got the BBQ Chicken with Bacon. I didnt really think it was the extra $2 for the amount bacon we received. I love Bacon and could not taste any on the pizza, so I will never order that one again.They do offer a Disney discount to CMs & APs.If you are driving be sure to watch your time with the parking, The mall only gives 1 hour free and 1 hour with validation, then it is $3/hr after that.

Staying near Disneyland I felt that many of these places were tourist traps. California pizza kitchen certainly was not. They have an enthusiasm for food, people and fresh. After eating there for two nights I felt disappointed anywhere else. They have a great Banh Mi salad with quinoa and also a Kung Pao spaghetti that is a twist on the usual.
