Service can be a bit slow at times. No reservations so sometimes you have to wait even though there are open tables. The outside seating is a nice option in the summer. My daughter really likes to go here.

Recently, i went to the Encino CPK and had a Barbecued Chicken Salad. What a fabulous salad! It included finely chopped lettuce, sliced chicken breast, sweet kernel corn, black beans, and fried wontons. They include ranch dressing and barbeque sauce as toppings, with fresh sourdough bread slices to accompany the salad. I finished my meal with Key Lime Pie as dessert and decaf coffee.A fabulous meal with courteous and first-rate customer service provided by the staff and management. This is a top-notch location and highly recommended by me. A+++!!

The food is good. I would recommend the Chicken Tequila, Kung Pao Chicken, or the Cedar Plank salmon. For appetizers you cant go wrong with the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. The service is always good here and they are most attentive to your needs. The atmosphere is nice especially sitting outside. Once you are done you can take your kids downstairs and they can ride the merry go round carousel.

They close an hour early they should fix that on their hours for this location because this is the second time it’s happened but honestly this place lost its touch so it was a blessing in disguise. The food is mediocre I like the Burbank location much better.

Great experience here! Our server was quick and respectful. The food was really good as well - we got the BBQ chicken pizza and vegetarian pizza. Both were really light due to the thin crust. While the food was great, drinks were ok. I got the passionfruit mango iced tea but it didnt taste like that at all. Other than the drinks, great experience.

This CPK has a great terrasse, overlooking Ventura bd, but protected by a glass pane that shields it from the noise. I recommend the shangria (pictured), as well as the barbecue chicken pizza, my personal favorite - ideally with extra pineapple and bacon toppings...

The restaurant is in a beautiful small plaza in Encino california. Its a great place to take kids. They even had a carousel out in the middle of the plaza. Theres child care provided in the plaza as well. My pizza and salad were delicious. I got both of them as a lunch special. Yes I will go back there again in the future. Our waiter was very helpful.

Overall the service was very nice and that was a pleasant surprise these days. I had chicken Picata, and was happy with it. Maybe a touch salty but nothing I couldnt deal with. It came out hot and the chicken was tender so I was pleased over all. My companion had pizza and it was ok. If they opened today and that was their main thing I dont think CPK would have the shelf life they do. I liked the seasonal watermelon cooler drink I had too.

Worst restaurant and service. Take your business elsewhere. Took 15 minutes for our orders to be taken, since no waiter was available. Soup that I ordered was never served and waiter forgot about it. Simple cucumber drink took 10 minutes to be served because they didnt know how to make it. Very unpleasant, unprofessional service from waiter and all staff.

The wait was ridiculously long to get our food. We were on lunch break. It took over 30 minutes to get food. The food was cold when brought to the table. The bread they brought earlier was also cold. My chicken piccata had more lemon than anything. I couldnt eat it because it was so sour. Tried to tone it down with Alfredo sauce but still just sour not flavorful. Needless to say it wasnt the best experience. If you get salad and half a sandwich I guess youll be safe although my friend ordered a turkey sandwich but it had no turkey anywhere.

My first time here and loved the atmosphere and view outside, and the food of course! Among the many pizza places we’ve tried along our trip this is our favorite, and our server Satchel, and manager Josie helped to make our experience a perfect night. If you stop in make sure to try the butter cake desert, it was awesome !!

This review is coming from a regular who goes to CPK atleast twice a month with friends - I do not particularly care for their food.My friends are elite members - meaning they spend more than $1k/year & the perks seem to serve us well when they use it for expedient seating.The food ordered for this specific visit was Shrimp Scampi pizza, Artichoke salad, 1/2 Cobb Salad, Cucumber Revivers (1 was made fun) & a Sangria.The scampi pizza was absolutely the worst thing Ive eaten at CPK - the shrimp tasted so unclean/frostbitten. The salads were good, but we all noticed our drinks didnt taste right. The fresca had run out, but this was corrected quickly without issue.Although its my first visit to this location, I was so pleased with the customer service & care. PRESTON was a WONDERFUL server. As someone whos worked in service previously, his energy & candor was EXCELLENT. He was attentive, intuitive, expedient & personable. I normally go to the Tarzana location, but would happily drive the extra mileage for a great experience here. 4 stars because I dislike the food, but Preston gets 5 stars.

Came here for lunch and while the food itself was delicious, the service was incredibly slow. We were seated for at least 15 minutes before a server approached us to get our orders. When it came time to pay the bill, we tried several times to get the attention of a waiter but either we werent loud enough or they were deliberately ignoring us because no one even looked in our direction.

We got the docents together and they were able to get tables combined for the 10 of us Sunday for dinner. Lots of wine and all different foods. The gluten free pizza was fantastic for me with the pepperoni was wonderfully spicy. Both indoor and outdoor seating. 2 hour free parking with validation, which was plenty of time.

We had a very bad experience recently. We were celebrating a birthday and were a partyof 10. There were several tables available but they were short of help that evening. We waited one hour and even then the hostess seated us far apart. Inspire of the fact that the fireplace table had been vacant for the whole hour. The hostess Rachna had a very bad attitude and so did the manager on duty. No apologies no adjustments were made by the manager.

Great Experience! We have been coming to this Encino location for many years. Beginning with the staff we deal with as we call our order in - all super and they always get our order right. The staff inside restaurant are also great. This year we come here for take -out at least 3 times a week since we are without a kitchen for a bit. Thanks CPK!

My friend is crazy about the place but honestly I just dont see the appeal. The dishes are pricey for my range and I feel like flavor is kind of bland overall. It is a good family place and people tend to come here a lot because it does get busy. The atmosphere overall is friendly even of the food isnt too good (in my opinion at least).

Over priced for food received. Ordered the steak salad $19.99. Very little steak and it was tough and chewy. Wishing I ordered pizza like my son. Got home and was hungry an hour later.The restaurant was having a fundraiser for local school and there were lots of kids running around. It was extremely loud inside and I was wishing there would be some music or something to absorb some of the surrounding noise. Not good value for the overall experience.

This location has a nice outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy an evening. Reasted Grape, Grilled Chicken, and Brie flat bread is awesome. The service is also pretty attentive too.

Not bad overall. Their pizza has a very unique taste, And I feel like its something you either like or dont. I happen to like it. The dough and cheese and overall pizza always taste alot different than conventional pizzas, largely due to not utilizing marinara sauce. Most of the pizzas I have had are done in the more white pizza style with no sauce. Still the combination of that plus toppings is pretty good for me.

Mediocre experience. I arrived with a part of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) after 5pm. The restaurant was fairly empty. The hostess attempted to seat us at tables in front of the bar / open kitchen, when there were other open booths deeper into the restaurant, but readily agreed to a move on request. Wait-staff was adequate, friendly and polite. Checked in once or twice to see how things were going, but did forget water when it was specifically requested. The wait for food was long, even though there werent many other diners at the time our order went in. Bread was provided for the table during the wait, but only enough for a small piece per person and nobody stopped by to see if we wanted more when it was (very quickly) eaten. There was a guy wandering around making balloon animals who was entertaining, wearing a button that stated he makes balloon animals for tips.The food was disappointing. The children at the table ate pizza from the kids menu and seemed to like them okay. I had the chicken piccata. It was a hot mess. The chicken was incorrectly prepared and not consistent. The seasoning was off, and the sauce was weird. The pasta wasnt sauced and arrived somewhat clumpy and a tad on the hard side. I ate it all, but its not something that I would ever order again and would have sent back if I were at a place where I had higher expectations for the food quality. For a family style chain restaurant, par for the (slighly overpriced) course.This was my first visit to a CPK in at least 15 years, so I dont anything reasonably recent to compare it to. That said, the overall experience was worse than a Chilis or Black Angus. I wont be returning to this location and would not recommend it to anybody.

The management of this particular CPK is horrific. For the 3rd time when we ordered through Postmates the order was a mess. This last, (and final) time we received half container of soup, which was watery, and they provided no bread. We are done with this location. They are inept and detrimental to the CPK corporation. Shame on this management team who appear to have no concern for their business or kitchen. I am forwarding this to CPK corporation. They need to know the level of consistent incompetence of the management at this location.

For the life of me I cant figure out how to get a hot delivery/takeout pizza from cpk. I thought picking it up would be better chance at it being hot rather than getting it delivered cold. I waited 10 minutes for curbside and no one showed up and there was no cell reception in the parking garage to call. So I had to go 3 floors in the rain to get my order. It was barely room temperature and the crust was burnt - after paying $20 for a tiny pizza!! Grabbed a kung pao spaghetti to go for my flight. I enjoyed the dish. It was filling and flavorful. You should be aware though that the dish is definitely spicy and very garlicky so maybe take that into consideration before you jump on a transcontinental flight.
