Went on a quiet Wednesday evening after 4th of July. The waitress was kind. Bread starter came out hot and fresh. Spinach artichoke dip for appetizer was delicious but felt it was missing some kind of uniqueness. I ordered Chicken Piccata which was delicious. Family got pizza which was made fresh, and Jambalaya pasta with shrimp was yummy too. Great food quality overall

I come here for the Wild Mushroom take & bake pizza with cauliflower crust. Its one of the best pizzas & we enjoy it every time. We always get a salad & this time we chose the Thai crunch. Very tasty! Service is slow mid-day so decided to not stay and just take food to go. CPK has definitely stepped up but they need to bring back the roasted vegetable salad ASAP.

Food is fine but CPK has (like everything else) gotten a little too pricey for its own good.Even worse, the server attempted to make us close out the check when we had barely begun eating because there was about to be a shift change. What if we want coffee and/or dessert? What if we want something else to go? What if we just want to eat in peace and not start fishing around for a credit card and figuring out a tip while our food sits on the table getting cold? What if wed like to take at least three bites before lamenting how much were spending? Um, sorry, should we just go eat in our car?Running a restaurant would be so much easier if it werent for the damn customers always wanting to sit around and eat food.

Being there was only 2 servers 🙄Our waiter was nice he did what he could. But as to his partner who was the the waiter, Not at all Customery at all. IGNORE the fact that we asked for the Xtra napkins, we were over looked. And Manger response about the situation was unexpectable to our need, I really would think about that kind of customer service wearth my money!?

The service was great and the food was tasty. I ordered the lunch duo with the Thai Crunch Salad and the Turkey and Brie sandwich. The salad was great. The sandwich was ok. There was too much bread for my taste and it was screaming out for some cranberry sauce. But overall good.

Tasty food, nice atmosphere, and friendly service. Located in Thousand Oaks near the Civics Arts Plaza, the exterior surroundings are also pleasing. Parking is plenty if you park in the lot behind the facilities.

I was quite surprised when I arrived and was handed what would be a small size at any other brand name store.$20 for a small pizza. You used to be able to buy 4 larges at Lil Caesars (now only 3) for $20. Dominos is currently running an add for $10 larges. I think Ill try Dominos next time.Cant tell from the photo the size, shoulda put my hand next to it.

Even though it was very busy we were treated very well and they made every attempt to accommodate us. Our waiter, Colin, was prompt and we received the best service. We ordered barbecue chicken pizza, Mac and cheese, and a pizza/salad combo for lunch. Then we couldn’t resist the strawberry shortcake which, while delicious, we just couldn’t finish. All in all a wonderful lunch for a graduation and birthday celebration

As much as the manager wants to blame a third party, this is not the quality I get when dinning in, this should be sealed properly for delivery. This should be unacceptable.

Got there and the first greeting we received from our server, Jeremiah, was how he was going to be a bad employee since his replacement hadn’t shown up yet. He was in a rush to get our orders in, but we waited 30+ minutes for the food to get to us. The other waitresses brought us our food too. He didn’t bring us bread, but was able to bring it out to the tables seated before and after us. He was in such a rush to get us out of there that he stopped me as I was coming back from the restroom to ask if we wanted the check. I didn’t even want dessert anymore. He’d rather flirt than work.The Ventura location has better customer service and isn’t as messy.The food was good, but customer service skills need to be worked on.

Our server was great. But the young man who was seating folks was giving everyone a five minute wait even though there were half of the tables available in the restaurant. After waiting seven minutes, I asked if I could just grab those menus and sit myself at the bar. Five minutes after that, he asked if I wanted to move to the booth I originally asked to sit in.I suggest the manager be clear about how to train the front host. The unnecessary wait plus the two moves (one by me after an unnecessary wait, and one by him-- which should have happened immediately) were quite unnecessary. Also they were quite behind on bussing and cleaning tables. Show maybe the manager wants to look at the training of the host and of the bussing staff.A great rule, as we all know, as a server:you never leave the table empty-handed.If you drop something off,you clear something off, and the busing happens as it goes.

We ate there at around 8:30pm so it was cool and comfortable enough to sit outside. They were a little short staffed, but the wait wasnt as long as the host said it would be (maybe 10-15 mins, he said 20-25). The patio is lovely with the little pond and waterfall right next to it. It was a beautiful evening! The food was phenomenal. We got the Thai Crunch Salad and the Roasted Veggie Salad which were both incredibly delicious and fresh, and the dressings were amazing! Our server, Ryan, was such a nice guy, so friendly and provided great service and good recommendations/info on the menu. The only downside was that toward the end of the meal, ants started appearing on the table and crawling all over the place where I was sitting. This is the only reason I took one star off, otherwise it was a 5-star meal!

It has been a year since the last time I have been here. The past experience wasn’t bad but definitely not the best as they brought food for every one but me and my plate was on the bill. This year I didn’t know what to expect.I arrived with my kid, we were never greeted and thought to myself: -Well, that is a great start....Because I was hungry, I wasn’t up for mediocre service, and after I had to speak up all went really smooth. We got a table in 10 minutes as they said we would. The waiter was great, very attentive and came to the table with his best smile every time.We were being taken care of and food came up in a reasonable amount of time. We had a great evening and we will definitely come back.The five star review is for the service and treatment received at the table.

I used to love this place and go all the time! We would go so often that we had reached the diamond status in the reward program. I used to LOVE this place. On April 21st we had a waitress that made me NEVER want to go back to any cpk ever again. I have never been treated with such disrespect from anyone at a restaurant before and Ive had a few bad experiences but this topped all of them as the WORST experience Ive ever had in customer service. The only reason this isnt a 1 star review is the hostess is an exceptional hostess whos very polite and welcoming..shes the OPPOSITE of the waitress we had in EVERY way. If only the hostess was our waitress instead maybe things would be different. No one should treat anyone the way that waitress treated me and my family. I wasnt going to write this review but as it still bothers me 8 days later Im writing this review. She knows what she did. Not okay

The reason I gave a two star was that the food presentation and the restaurant looked so good but, the taste was not tempting or fulfilling at all. The pizzas toppings are so cold and crunchy and the ice tea taste like water and the sweetener flavor they use is isn’t flavorful at all. The management and employees were amazing and when they didn’t have tea, they offered the passion fruit mango tea and when we got it and tasted it, it tasted so bitter that I just drank water instead. The spinach dip was good but the chips were stale and some were salty.All in all, food needs to match presentation.

We havent been to CPK for a while but liked this location. The decor is nicely done with friendly staff. Theres some outdoor seating as well. There is a large enough selection (besides just pizza) to please adults and kids alike. The food was fresh and tasty. The dip for the complimentary bread was good too.

Sad to me thats such an iconic restaurant is more often and under performer than a top performer. I learned recently that this location is a training store, so more often than not service is subpar. One of the veterans, Matt, is exceptional every time. So much so that I ask to be seated in his section whenever I visit. The menu has good selection and rotate in new dishes, which are fun to try. Service, and inconsistent food quality are unfortunate.

We had ordered no onions on the bbq chicken pizza... but there they were! Ugh!The large salads we thought we could share were barely enough for one person! The plastic to-go containers were barely half filled!Really?? For 17.00 you can’t put lettuce in it??? The lettuce in the Cobb salad was a little warm and wilted and the portions of bacon, chicken, avocado and eggs, etc were very small. The only thing that was “so-so” was the Mac n cheese, and even that was a little dry. The food we received was definitely not worth the price we paid!! Waste of time and money! Never again!

I came here for Veterans Day and the pizza was great. I support and I appreciate businesses that recognize and support our local veterans. That was a seriously generous size pizza that they gave for Veterans Day and Im grateful for that. A place inside is fancy and really, take a lunch date here. Afterwards you could walk around the Promenade and go window shopping. It really is a Serene place to go to. Now that theres locktown, its pretty quiet around there but you get to see the Lake around the fountain. So grab a pizza and enjoy a chill romantic stroll.

Seating isnt plentiful, so keep that in mind if you come here during peak dining hours. Its not one of my favorite places, but its probably the best choice for food if youve got kids and you have to eat at The Lakes. We dined here before a show at the Civic Arts Plaza and it took us nearly 2 hours from seating to paying the bill. We had to rush to the performance as to not be late.

Spaghetti Bolognese is Back! But it wouldve been just as fine had it not. I have tried the dinner portion for lunch a few times now after the reopening from covid. The dinner should be the lunch size, its sad considering how cheap the cost of pasta/the ingredients are. 3 of 4 times they havent strained the pasta well leaving a wet watery mess underneath, and theres so little sauce that you cant dip bread into it. Im Italian and yes, I know that some starchy water should be added to the sauce to make it adhere properly— its still being done improperly if the pasta isnt added to the sauce first and tossed. I should never see water under it.Previous Review from several years ago:They removed Spaghetti Bolognese from the menu. Other entrees are expensive- considering if you get the chicken piccata; its obviously frozen chicken, not fresh.

Dirty menus with straw cover, bread crumbs and smeared sauce in them. Absent minded server. Food served without utensils and brought to table a few long minutes after you asked instead of rushing.
