California Pizza Kitchen at Long Beach Marketplace in Long Beach

This is a great California Pizza Kitchen 🍕 location. The staff was friendly and attentive. Ben, our server was great! Food on point as always. Had my favorite the ORIGINAL BBQ Chicken 🐔 Pizza 🍕 along with the Lime Chicken Fettuccine along with a Sangria flight ✈️ 😋. Everything was delicious. One of the smaller locations but still the same value. Worth the taste if you havent already 😉 tried it.

Nice greeting by the manager. Got seated right away. Waiter Luke was friendly and helpful, although a little overworked. Food was good. Atmosphere was also good. Problem was the larger bald bartender. A half beer was brought to the table by a different bar tender. He told me the keg was out and I would get a new one when it was replaced. Then the bigger bartender arrives with another half glass...who does that? He had a smirk, I told him I was sure he was kidding. Apparently he was not. I told Luke about it and he said he would speak to the bartender, but he was unsuccessful. Extremely unprofessional. At the end of out meal I took most of the rest of the beer to the bar, only the nice guy was there. I told him to give my remaining beer to the other bar tender, and told him he the other guy could go...well you can finish that sentence for me. I also wrote to the survey from the receipt.

We ordered an two pizzas, they were good but not great. The buffalo chicken was disappointing. The broccoli salad was good, but very expensive for a half salad. I would’ve been just as happy with their frozen Sicilian pizza, had a more satiated belly, and a lot more money in my pocket. I was a happy to find that I could order my daughter a cauliflower crust from the kids menu, still, the toppings are limited to basically meat and cheese, no option to add veggies.

The food was good, but the pizzas we had were a little lacking in toppings. Given the price, we expected at least larger, more nourishing pizzas. As for the service, we had to deal with a kind and very helpful person, we thank him again for his kindness if he sees this comment.From your French friends.

Across the street from the Long beach Marketplace. Plenty of parking available. Has vegetarian and gluten free options. Cocktails are blah.

Always loved their lunch specials bur the new food happy hour is a great addition! Their drink options are a bit lacking though so unfortunately i wouldnt come here for thay happy hour if you have drinks in mind. would recommend them to get more beer options. Margarita was deathly sweet with mixer so would recommend sticking to beer or wine.Our hostess and server where fab! I would have given them 5 stars. Very attentive given how busy it was was. Im assuming it was the manager, older woman that was the only one wearing a different shirt. her service was zero stars. It was non existent

Pandemic special, first Id like to thank them for even being open for dine in. On that note, the pizza was good. The pasta was sub par. The wait staff was over booked and understaffed. The restaurant was clean and presentable.

Tummies are HAPPY! Consistent good food and great service. My favorite salads come from CPK. We had a roasted veggie with grilled chicken…Yummy and fresh. Kung Pao Spaghetti..WOW. Finish it off with this butter cake and ice cream. Thank you Tess!! You are a sweet and an attentive waitress!! Will be back🤤

While visiting my sister in Long Beach we ate here and let me tell you... It was a good choice. It was kinda busy so we sat at the bar. The bartender was pretty cool. His customer service was great. He was real helpful with recommendations from the drinks to the food. For appetizers we had this deep fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce. And lettuce wraps. Delicious!!! We also ordered a carne asada pizza that was to die for. Along with a combo pizza. We wanted to try their shrimp scampi pizza but they were out of that kind of shrimp. That was a bummer. We also ordered the shrimp fettuccine. All our food was delicious we had no complaints. The drinks were good as well. We had some sangrias and a few moscow mules. The Red berry sangria was my fav. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. Its a cool place to hang out and eat some GREAT FOOD! I will definitely eat here again next time i come to visit.

The waiter ANGEL was the best! He was so thoughtful, helpful, nice, and funny! Danced to happy birthday! We had a really great time!!
