Amazing restaurant, I visit when on Holiday in LA…. food it’s fantastic, and staff are super friendly and polite,making sure you have the best experience. With smiles and giving suggestions on what would u like after asking a little bit about your taste on food . Was so good that I came back next day, for a take out. Zoe greet me straight away when I’ve walked in and asked if I enjoyed my dinner the night before. That is good service and attention to your customers lWell worth the experience 10/10 👌Let’s not forget Maria’s cocktails, they are all proper handmade…. And Delicious 🙌🏻

Fantastic Pizza and Salads.... I am a huge fan of their cauliflower crust which I washing tastes better than the traditional crust. There is plenty of free parking in the third street mall. Can get a bit crowded on Wednesday and Saturday when Santa Monica Farmers Market is in the neighboring streets. $$

I had a great breakfast! Caesar salad with a mushroom-sausage-pizza, and with coffee. The coffee was freshly brewed, and perfect. Like McDonalds, its not to strong nor to weak. I was refilled, before I even noticed the cup was running low.The salad was room temperature, and the pizza has like these special ingredients, because it actually has flavor. And as always, you start your morning here, and then take a walk by the Pacific.The only down flaw is location. The moment you get off the Expo Rail/ Santa Monic Train from L.A., you get funneled to go towards the St. Monica Pier. Which means you look for a meal in the area. You get hungry in the spot thats within walking distance.ALL of the restaurants are posh and outlandish in price. Your literally looking at $60 bucks for a dinner of two. So, naturally everyone goes to the McDonalds.The ONLY other competition is California Pizza Kitchen. But folks dont know your in the area.If you cant relocate, literally hire a person to hold a sign that tells folks where you are, or give out fliers.

Such a welcoming cool place! I just needed to charge my phone and I got a welcoming smile, the friendly hostess brought me to the table close to the outlet and I could have my few minutes with the ice cold water to continue my Santa Monica walk! Thank you, we’ll come again ❤️

Ive been here twice and both times the service was great and the food was on point. My toddler absolutely loved the kids fusilli with the meat sauce. I know that most people come here for their pizzas, but I highly recommend trying their salads. The roasted veggie salad is extremely delicious and satiated. The Thai crunch salad is perfect if you love the crunch of peanuts, wontons and rice sticks. I added avocado to it and it was delicious. If you are craving a small salad dish that will go with your pizza or soup, try the crispy artichoke salad. It has whipped goat cheese, arugula and Parmesan.The restaurant is big and spacious, and you can see them prepare the food. Most important, it is kid friendly. My toddler got a coloring book and some crayons to keep him busy while we wait for our food.

Today we were berated by who I think was the manager (older Latino man on the heavier side, glasses and a beard). We got stale chips and let the waitress know right away. She was nice and said she’d help. We waited 10 min for her to return, so she asked if we wanted a fresh batch or if we just wanted a refund (I assumed due to the long wait). We had already eaten half of them since some were fine (we had to bite through a lot of bad chips), but since she offered, we accepted the refund. Then the manager came over to harass us, basically shouting at us, saying we should’ve said something sooner before eating any. We had done that but it took a long time for anyone to come back, and it was the waitress who offered a refund. I was too stunned to really say much while he was shouting. Berating us over a $6 happy hour plate, seriously? :(

Good and easy restaurant, especially with kids! Great lunch choices of half sandwich/pasta or pizza with either small soup or side salad. Healthy choices for kids and adults and tastes great! Good choice for picky eaters as well (plain pasta or with butter or olive oil, tomato sauce or Alfredo, among other options). Crayons and drawing place mat for the kids. Kids ice cream sundae great value and tasty. Nice service and good cocktails as well. Everyone was happy :) Would recommend and also come back!

Was visiting a friend locally, as I was from halfway around the country. She suggested California Pizza Kitchen. I was all excited, because I havent tried it before. Apparently, they have taken several salads off their menu, one of which my friend always ordered. So, we sat and sat no service. Twenty minutes later finally took our drink orders. 20 more minutes pass no drinks yet. Had to track down manager to get our drinks, and to take our order. Finally ordered, and still really no service after that for refills, etc. The pizza was HORRIFIC, and to top it off about 23.00. Came out with no sauce. Their idea to fix it was to bring a side of sauce. Then, we ate a few bites and at that time ready to go, because I had a long drive back to Anaheim to my hotel. Then, we waited forever for our ticket. Finally got our ticket about 30 minutes later. To make a long story short we arrived at around 7 didnt get out of there until after 9 bc of poor slow service. Highly disappointed.

When entering I was asked something in Spanish. I do not speak Spanish. I do not look like if I could.After a „pardon me“, the same Spanish phrases were repeated. The guy was pretty annoyed, took it from the table and threw it on to the next booth table.A rude welcome.The disappointment did not stop here.My girlfriend ordered a focaccia. It took them way way longer to prepare it than my pizza.It came and had rotten lettuce on it. A replacement was offered, we accepted a new focaccia.After completely finishing my pizza the new focaccia arrived.It had again rotten lettuce on it.At least the manager offer refund and compensation. Hence the reason for 2 stars. Otherwise it would have been just 1.The BBQ chicken pizza was fine, as well as the soups.The visit was overall pretty underwhelming.👎🏻Hope the just bill my credit card with the promised amount and not with the original value. We’ll see.

My first time visiting any California pizza kitchen restaurant and it wasnt a very good experience. We were seated by the hostess, our waiter never came so the hostess ended up bringing us bread and taking our orders 10 minutes later. The food was decent. Our waiter finally came over to say hello and give us the check but didnt even fill up waters. I wouldnt go back again based on the poor service.

Our waiter named Faruq was fantastic. We ordered a really complicated pizza (tostada pizza and spicy chipotle chicken pizza with various substitutions). Faruq really cared about getting our order correct, and because he double-checked everything with the chef while he was making our pizza, it came out perfect. He was really fast and kind as well. The general manager was also invested in making sure everything was good. We loved our experience and will definitely be back

Bbq was luke warm and flavor was ok at best, but all the pasta dishes were bland, flavorless, and the shrimp scampi was watery? Ive been to CPK many times but for top dollar I paid should of gone elsewhere and eaten a decent meal with family! No wonder the place was half empty at 6pm on a nice Saturday afternoon at Santa Monica!...the food is not tasty or appetizing would not recommend!

This place is horrible, I usually dont write reviews but this place took 10 dollars extra off my debit card when I went there! Literally just stole my money and I have the receipt says it was 39 dollars they charged me 49! The food isnt that good to even cost 39 and they want to still money that was my first time eating at that location. This restaurant chain is decent but NEVER go to this one. Horrible. I should have known it was bad when I walked in and no one was there. Dont make the same mistake OVER PRICED AND THEIFS!
