California Roll & Grill in Roseville

One of my favorite places, we go here every time we are in the area. The sushi is fresh and the service is good. Very good value!

So daily story time, I tried this local sushi restaurant, the tall lady was really nice and friendly, she helped us with the order and that was excellent customer service. I guess when you order here, you get free miso soup. So we ordered two rolls, the avocado one was ok, way too salty if you want to try with soy sauce, maybe less sauce and the rice wasn’t favor enough.The lion roll was spicy and no one mentioned it at all. I am allergic to spicy and so I told the lady, but the other lady in the photo was kept asking me” is little spicy not ok for you” and so as when we paying she said” that’s the first time customer complaint”.At the end the tall lady remade the roll for us, but disappointed to the customer service that the other lady presented.The food is alright, nothing special, but the presentation was really nice and cool.Don’t recommend this location if you looking for excellent taste and customer service.

Loved their new Korean menu! A coworker and I had lunch here today after noticing their sign saying they had a new menu. The food was excellent! I had the sesame chicken combo with an Alaskan roll, good quality sushi and the sesame chicken was perfectly crispy. My coworker had the bibimbap with bulgogi beef on the hot stone and the bite I snagged off of her plate was excellent as well. We will most definitely be back for lunch again!

Delicious rolls. They have plenty of options if you dont like raw fish, the Tony Roll is my personal favorite and I even ventured out of my comfort zone and got the Dragon Roll, so glad I did, it was delicious as well.

I saw a sign that said they now serve Korean food in addition to their sushi so my coworker and I stopped in for lunch to try it out. They have a large selection of Korean dishes and sushi rolls. I ordered the hot stone bulgogi bibimbap and it was absolutely delicious! The beef was tender and full of flavor. All the side dishes (banchan) were fantastic. Authentic and how Korean food should taste. Our waitress was really nice and attentive!

So Im real particular about Sushi places. So much so that I usually dont order sushi the first, I let my wife be the guinea pig, lol. My mistake this time. Everything was delicious and fresh. Service was attentive and food was quick. Definitely will be back.

Im giving them one star because they have really good sake but I ordered the deep-fried mashed potatoes. On the menu it looks really good, but it tastes burnt, and look burnt. I should have looked at my food before leaving, that was my mistake. I will never eat there again. I will definitely get the Sake but I dont want the food.

Amazing prices and great food. I try to make it out there once per week.

High end sushi at low prices. Fast and friendly. Pleasant experience.

Great vegan sushi. Very fresh veggies. Very friendly and warm customer service. You can tell they care about their customers. Fair priced.
