Ashley Baksh is a kind and wonderful person! She is an active listener who takes time in listening to your concerns and questions. She makes me feel comfortable whenever I have an appointment. The staff is also very kind.Masks are required per guidelines ( I don’t mind wearing my mask). I forgot my mask and they were kind enough to give me one. Also, go early bc parking took me about 9 minutes! I don’t remember it being this busy but parking was difficult to find. Just and FYI so you can make it on time to your appointment.

This is best branch of the California skin Institute that I have been to. I’ve moved around California, and been to several, and while I appreciate all of the ones that I’ve been to, this office is particularly amazing. Ashlee is incredible, personable, and very helpful! The office staff is always very timely, and responsive and courteous as well.

Completely unprofessional atmosphere. The waiting area is run down and the chairs have all the vinyl rubbed off so the arms are just material that can’t be sanitized. My appointment was for 9:15am, I showed up at 9. I had all my paperwork completed by 9:15 and sat and waited. As I waited, I saw multiple people get called back before me, even people who arrived well after. They had at least three staff members working in the front office. Apparently, someone was ordering them lunch and they were absolutely absorbed in discussing what each of them were going to order. “How many chicken wings come in an order? What is in buffalo wing sauce? I am not getting the salmon salad because I got that last time. My stomach doesn’t like tomatoes. Do you think I should order the rib eye? Well, if they didn’t want you to order something expensive, they shouldn’t have chosen a spot with expensive options.” and so on. At 9:40 a lady came in and announced she had at 10:30 appointment. Guess who was called to a room five minutes later? After about another five minutes of being the only person left in the waiting room, I got up and explained that I had to leave the office by 10:15 to be at work on time. The same lady who checked me in asked, “Oh, were you late?” I was literally in her sight the entire time I was there. She finally got me into a room around 9:55. I sat in the room until exactly 10:15 and as I was walking out, the doctor was coming in. She apologized and said she can take a look “real quick”. I asked if I would be charged full price for a 5 minute visit and she nodded yes. I asked the assistant if they see patients who come in a hour late and she shook her head no. I declined the visit and left. I am not going to pay hundreds of dollars for five minutes. I wanted to get a second opinion on a minor surgical procedure. There is no way I can trust these folks to cut into my head. What if they forget about me in the middle of that? I really don’t understand how they can run an hour late when my appointment was only 45mins after they opened. If they knew they were running that far behind, they should have let me know and rescheduled. If the front desk knew I had to leave by 10:15 and the doctor wouldn’t be there on time, why put me in a room? Why would you bring back someone who was 45 minutes early before someone who was 30 minutes past their appointment time? I really hope this was not a case of racial discrimination, but I did get that feeling. I am not person who normally writes bad reviews. (Check my history) I am pretty patient, but it was obvious their concern is not for the patients. It takes me two weeks to earn 3 hours of PTO for these folks to flush it down the toilet.

Ashley was very delightful. I felt very pleasant along with her assistant both very generous. They both made me feel like my son will get treatment here, & take into consideration his medical problem. They REALLY BROUGHT MY HOPES UP. Unlike the ER they made me feel like my son was not going to get any help.

The female provider was really nice, However, important information regarding ANY procedure should be discussed with the patients prior to doing a treatment. Such as explaining the procedure, that to do and what I should expect from it. I hope you do better In the future. My son was not given any after care instructions. My toddler was treated with Canthariting around 1:40 pm, the provider said remove the bandages at 7 pm, my son started complaining probably an 1 or 2 hour later ( me not knowing why) she never once mentioned it was going to be painful, she only treated a few parts and I wondered why, my fault for not asking, that was why!! The only thing she mentioned was “ remove at 7 pm, wash off the treatment and you will see a few blisters, and that’s completely normal, ” My son kept complaining, until finally 7 came and I removed the spot bandages, my poor baby was full of HUGE blisters, huge ones! He is so scared to move and it’s currently in pain!! Now I’m here watching him suffer not knowing what to do, I had to be googling to find out! and one page reads “”If you forget, it will keep blistering, don’t wait until you feel a painful reminder.” Or WASH OFF sooner if there’s any pain ”my baby didn’t need to have these bandages for a long time, wish a warning would have been given to me!!I will not be coming back, I am very upset!!!

The office staff and providers are very kind . I really enjoyed my assessment by the female doctor Ashley . She was polite, attentive and made me feel very comfortable while performing my body check. Definitely recommend.

I saw Ashly today and she was phenomenal! She was one of the ONLY drs who actually listened to my problem, and sought out actual treatment. Every other dr just made me feel like all my problems are because I’m a bigger girl. Ashly actually helped me find the root of the problem. She was so kind and understanding. I can’t rave enough about how awesome she is. I would recommend her to anyone. I wish more people in the healthcare were like her. They really could learn a thing or two from her. Thank you Ashly. I hope you know you make a difference. 🫶🏼

Dr. Ashley is seriously the best! She is so knowledgeable, so helpful, and so kind. She takes the time to explain medicine, skin, care, tips, and even has the most superb bedside manner with such an easy-going and sweet aura. To anyone having questions about their skin, including moles, and pregnancy melasma, Dr. Ashley is the doctor to see.

I have regular skin scans and have always found the staff to be helpful and great at their jobs. I recently had to deal with a more serious issue and was once again impressed by their professionalism and skill. Highly recommend!
