Okay - I was born and raised in Seattle, most of my friends Japanese! So I know my teriyaki! Ive been wanting to visit this place for sometime now. This place makes some excellent teriyaki!!! Its supposed to have the chared flavor, with the sweetness (I prefer not too sweet!) of the teriyaki sauce! This place does it extremely well! I had the Washington Roll and loved it! Salmon was definitely fresh and the quantiles of both dishes were GREAT! This is thee first place Ive found to do Chicken Teriyaki right! Im definitely returning soon!

All of the food tasted like it had been sitting for two weeks in the fridge. Old, stale, and smelly. We ordered a bunch of sushi and other dishes for takeout and threw all of it out. I was honestly afraid I’d get sick if I ate it.

I am trying to be fair in this review...I ordered a ramen bowl via a delivery service. It was sent as a whole bowl, all together, rather than the industry standard of packaging the broth and noodles separately. As a result, my order was nothing but mush. Additionally, the egg (for which I paid extra) was rather abnormal for ramen...it was done in the style of egg drop soup, rather than softboiled or fried and placed on top. I wouldnt recommend ordering ramen from this establishment. It tasted OK, but the way it was sent was amateurish at best, and the way the egg was served was bizarre and not precisely right for ramen. I will try more of their food and edit this review if I like it better—and I hope I do! But if thats how they do ramen, its just not for me, or for anyone who likes ramen, lol

Spicy Tuna was not fresh it tasted like bad spoiled tuna.the chicken was hard overloaded with sauce to cover up that food had been sitting there for God knows how long..I was disappointed becasue I heard good things about this place. The only thing that was good like a 5 out of 10 was the Tempura . Smh!!!

I have to say… before going inside I was hesitant but like they say, “never judge a book by it’s cover”, this is a hidden gem folks!! I ate the most healthiest yet most fulfilling sushi burrito and it is beyond tasteful and highly recommended. 3 hour drive was really worth it.

This place used to be better. The amount of food you got made up for the lack of quality. Now you pay a lot for small servings of bad food and they charge you for sauce that should be part of the order. Its a shame. The service is subpar as well. We walked in and the girl was just leaning over the counter writing notes. She barely spoke and didnt greet us. Then she offered sauces and didnt mention it was extra. Smh. $70 for two combos and two sushi rolls. It would have been way better going to AYCE sushi for that much. The one on victory is 10 times better.

I have to give three stars for effort and price and quantity. But as far as taste goes, the sushi was definitely not fresh the spicy tuna it is very fishy at the same time bland and the super Maki special just did not taste fresh at all. But like I said, the portions were very good just not the quality of the food.

Worst food ever. Got 2 chicken fried rice and it was horrible. No flavor on rice, no flavor on chicken. They gave side of teriyaki sauce which was like 3 drops in a small cup which was terrible. Asked for spicy and they gave 0 spice. Worst ever. Chicken is dry, and all white rice.

They have to be cheap and charge us for condiments, even though we ordered the sushi party platter and 3 drinks totaling $110+ to feed give people, yet they only gave us ONE tiny teriyaki sauce and ONE tiny pickle ginger container?When we asked for more, they charged additional $3.60?!Thats beyond Cheap!This sours me completely.I will NOT return.Shame on them for being so classless & Cheap.And this is after I gave them a $10 tip, for nothing!

The owners and staff have really got to know me and they have given me great food every time. One time the owner even gave a free drink just to be nice. They are a wonderful business with great people. And I am happy to help the owner every time she comes into the Home Depot I work at down the street.

HIGHLY reccomend! My 9 year old daughter and I have been eating at this spot for YEARS. (We get food from here at least once a week, never go longer than a month for sure) Shes a picky eater and very particular about her food but she absolutely loves this placeThey ALWAYS make the food delicious. Very fairly priced, friendly helpful staff, fast service every single time. We usually get the California rolls, miso soup, spicy tuna tempura rolls, chicken teriyaki bowl, fried tofu, or fried gyoza. I recommend it all.

They had no soap in the bathroom. We ordered our food, waited over 30 minutes. Customers were served before us that came in 10 minutes after we ordered. Asked how much longer and staff had trouble finding kitchen ticket and couldnt say how much longer we would have to wait for our food. Decided to leave and go somewhere else. Wont go back. Very poor customer service skills and very unorganized.

Mediocre food but horrible service. After ordering and waiting for nearly 30 minutes we watched people coming in after us get their food. When I asked how much longer the guy was completely confused and told us 10 minutes. When he asked what we ordered he suddenly looked at another table, Im pretty sure he gave them our food.I asked for our money back and he charged us for the drinks.Ill never go back or recommend any one else to here.

This place has the best Boba in California. They have the best smoothies in all of Los Angeles. If you combine the best Boba in California with the best smoothies in Los Angeles you have the best experience of your life ever. They have about 50 different smoothie flavors and the Boba is the perfect sweetness. I go here every day for a taro smoothie and it just makes my day.

This is the worst place ever! Person who took the order was not customer sentric and inexperience. After order was placed, guy called back asking for tip. On day of delivery, received a call 15mins before the delivery suppose to show up that they made a mistake and they will not be able to deliver on time. Was told delivery will be 15mins late. Delivery was actually more than an hour late!! When asked what compensation can be given, all was told was that they will do something but nothing was really mentioned. Called back multiple times and phone number on website just kept going to busy tone. Keep in mind this is an order for close to $400. I have guest waiting for food for an hour sitting in hunger. Finally got a hold of someone at the restaurant to find out that it will take another 10-15mins for the delivery which by now it has been an hour late. Will never go to this place ever again!

Very tasty teriyaki. Definitely a palate pleaser. I order the #35 the chicken and beef teriyaki and it came with a side of rice and steamed vegetables. The condiments they have on the table were a nice touch as well. Cashier was very polite and even came to our table to bring us straw when our drinks had been made. The service was also relatively quick as well as we hadnt waited long before our sushi came followed by the main plates. Overall good experience!

The kitchen staff decided to make and serve multiple customers who arrived after I placed my order. Then my was not complete after waiting over 45 minutes. Yesterday, I had the worst customer experience. The owner decided to arbitrarily over charge me for a strawberry Boba. I pulled my Bank of America card out and she already gave me a disgruntled look but I ignored it. She then proceeded to add extra charges to the transaction explaining to me that there is a extra fee for using a credit card, which they have never done before when I purchased food with the other employees that have always worked there.Then added another charge because I ordered under 5 dollarswith a card. Monday I bought soup for 3.99 I didnt get charged for having a 5 dollar minuim or cause I was using a card. Now back to what happen yesterday when she took my transaction, I tried to explain they have never charged me for ever using a card even when buying something under 5 dollars from there.She immediately started to make excuses in her defense then I showed her my reciepts... Understand people you have the option when at the register if you wanna add that on or not. It was a normal calculator register where all prices can be changed manually by anyone at anytime. So this owner went out of her way to add these charges out of some personally mission? I can only assume that she was judging me off apprecance which is wrong on her part just because you say hi and thank doesnt mean you cant judge (anyone whos paying you for what you do is going to say hi especially if you are running a restaurant) also is look like if you are a ongoing customer I see you get treated better than some one who just started coming. Over all I would never reccomend going as long as she is owner of that restaurant, Just think behind close doors shes probably even worst to her workers.TL;DR - watch your transactions with this establishment when the owner is behind the register she will literally price your meal based off your appearance....

I cant say any bad things about California Sushi and Terriyaki. The only things that might need work on is the details of the green salad. Wish they would use the traditional orange sweet and tangy dressing. I think that is the only beef I have. I have ordered for delivery multiple times to my workplace. I love the chicken and california sushi roll bowl, tempura udon, california roll and spicy tuna roll. I havent expanded my taste buds, but these are my to-go orders that I abide by. I was sort of disappointed by a grubhub order I placed which they missed my order of california roll, but grubhub refunded me. Kind of sad since I was craving lots of california roll sushi.
