My 1st & last time visiting this thai place. I phoned in an order for yellow curry no tofu add broccoli. When I arrived they had my order wrong as yellow curry with tofu. Not only did I have to wait an extra 10 minutes for my order, but a bug was in my food - YUCK. This place is dirty and nasty. Now it is time to report to the CCC health department.

This restaurant is in our town, El Sobrante, people know about this place, and food taste is excellent, it was my first time to visit California Thai Restaurant . I ordered pad thai noodles, bbq chicken, mango salad.

A cute family restaurant that serves good food. My only complaint is the toilet is on the outer part of the restaurant. Staff accidentally thought I wasn’t a customer trying to use it. Otherwise the service and food is really good and quick.

We only had appetizers. Very very fresh shrimp spring rolls, nicely fried butterfly shrimp appetizer and tasty dipping sauce. Small size wonton soup was perfect for lunch. Friendly staff.

Wow wow wow! Excellent food! We have been struggling to find good Thai food in our area and decided to take a chance on this restaurant. The portions were well worth the price, and everything was cooked perfectly. The best curry we have had in a while.

This restaurant is convenient, so we have been there at least five times. Unfortunately the food is only average for a local Thai restaurant. The portions are on the small side, so dont expect to bring home leftovers. Parking can be tight when the restaurant is even 2/3 full. The lighting in the booths was stylish, but designed in such a way that there was a lot of glare. OK overall, just not a favorite.

Great service, really good food. Don’t judge by the outside, it’s super nice and clean inside. The salads are served in chilled bowls to start, which is a nice touch. We had the chicken satay, crab rangoons, and pad Thai, which were all great with generous portions. The Thai iced tea is rich and delicious, though there are no free refills.

Excellent Thai food here. I will definitely go here again. Small comfy environment but they know their stuff and the bathrooms are very clean. The parking leaves a little less to be desired but its worth the try.

Authentic Thai Food!!!!! Peanut sauce was fresh made from scratch! I haven’t had such a great sauce ever. Sweet and sour sauce was so delicious that I had to take some home. Hot tea was authentic Thai tea, not tea bag! Coffee was fresh and had a unique flavor to it. Definitely will be back. Happy to find them.

It is small, they dont have restrooms for customers .The quality was not as good as other restaurants and we realized they want to charge a different price from the menu. We are not going to come back, sorry.

Had my second lunch here today and it was great! Green curry salmon with rice and veggies. The flavor of the sauce was delightfully spicy, the salmon cooked just right, and lots of fresh veggies. Very happy with this small restaurant and highly recommend them to you.

Always delicious. The staff is super attentive and the cook often comes out and greets you. You can substitute brown rice for white rice in the Thai style rice dishes!

I Dont recommend this place, It might look nice but dont get fooled spiders crawling on every corner of that place (its not cute), Bathroom is not sanitary The waiter was really rude he even forgot my order I was left eating my appetizer. The appetizer was good I had 2 spring rolls wont have them again not for 10 bucks!

Very disappointing. Probably the worst Tom Yum soup Ive ever had...no lemongrass, only mushrooms. The vegetable rolls were mostly just wrapped lettuce.

This is my favorite Thai place. I usually get the fresh rolls and eggplant pad thai. Yum! Ive probably tried almost everything and its all great. I recommend this place.
