AMAZING noodles!! (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)🍜❤️I decided to rewrite the review with more details since I think this restaurant is wayyy too underrated!Although I gave most restaurant full stars as long as their staff are nice and the food are within average since I want to support them, this is one of the few restaurants I would actually revisit!The portion is great, and the price is relatively affordable compared to other restaurants. 😇Their pork is braised and seasoned perfectly as well! 🍖If you love asian noodle or cuisine, this is definitely a place for you!I think some people gave them low rating is bc of the limited payment option ⬇️*they only take cash or venmo, but would provide you wifi for venmo if needed.But yes, their staff are nice!Don’t be trick by the rating and give it a try! I can make better noodle at home…Beef is dry and not seasoned good and deep, even with all the spices companying the beef in my bowl. Noodle is not handmade. Vegetable is cabbage that is not fresh. Broth is like water for my first taste, it’s much better when I almost finish it, so you know some magic powder is added and not evenly mixed.Also, this is a Chinese restaurant instead of Vietnamese.

New ownership has greatly improved the service and quality of the meals.I enjoy eating in the restaurant and ordering take out.My favorite meal is the #H1 Spicy Mala Hotpot.

Nice and clean, love the new renovations, theyve made the place more sleek and moder. The food seems to have improved drastically as well due to the simpler menu. Speaking of the menu, its become much clearer and its easy to tell what you can and what you are ordering. I ordered the oxtail soup and the portions are pretty big, with 4 pieces of oxtail. Will definitely return again!

I look forward to visits to Berkeley and my lunches at Camille Restaurant.I noticed improvements in service and quality of the food with the new management.I enjoy the many menu options and have not been disappointed with any of my selections.

Large portions of delicious and freshly made foods, with the friendliest folks you will ever meet. For vegetarians, I recommend the eggplant tofu over rice dish, as well as the noodles seared in hot oil. Bring cash or venmo. Id love more vegetable-rich options, because Im gaining weight eating here so often! :)

Get the hot sauce. Pretty solid Chinese food with some vegetarian options. I got the eggplant and tofu. I am unsure why it is listed as a Vietnamese restaurant.

5 STAR - Dont let the current rating of this restaurant confuse you. The food is delicious, especially the braised lamb! Easily my #1 recommended in the area. Bring cash or use Venmo as they dont take card.

According to a friend of mine, he had an awful experience at this restaurant. When he tried to order and pay with his credit card, the owner ridiculously yelled at him and started verbal abuse. Even after he went out to another restaurant, the owner unexpectedly followed him and kept yelling at him with the worst words you could think of. Finally, my friend hopped on a Uber and left the area to get rid of the owner’s stalking and bad words.Worst eating out experience ever, and my friend almost called the cops.

Im conflicted. On one hand, Im usually happy to give a place 4 or 5 stars if theyve got at least 1 good, cheap dish - and this places crispy fish iron pot qualifies, with plenty of tasty fried fish fillets in a delicious sauce with vegetables. But the two other dishes I tried (their signature hot pot and oil-seared noodles) were so disappointing that I dont think the fish is enough to offset them. The hot pot was just plain underseasoned and super skimpy on the meat (and half the meat that was there was overcooked slivers of beef). The noodles didnt taste seared at all and came unmixed with cold toppings, making them a lukewarm and again, underseasoned experience.

Looks to me like a Chinese restaurant. The beef hand cut noodle doesn’t have the bouncy texture of hand cut noodle.......The beef isn’t bad. The spicy sauce is ok. Was expecting better given the amount of Asian kids sitting in the shop.

This is not a Vietnamese restaurant! I think it might have been once, but it was recently remodeled and theyve changed the menu to Northern-style Chinese food (similar to Famous Bao). The food is awesome - my new favorite place for lunch on Euclid! However, beware that it may take more than a few minutes for the food to come out if you go near peak lunch time.

AMAZING. A real street food type of experience.What happens when departing Vietnamese restaurant owners sell the place to Chinese cooks who are masters in the Kitchen? THIS HAPPENS. YUM YUM YUM. Its a collision of Asian fusion food, spicy, flavorful, great portions, and the flavors represent the best of Pan-Asian cooking. I highly recommend the Cumin noodles (SP 1 on the menu), or the Spicy Hotpot I really love unpretentious, tasty street style food and this place delivers.(In the photo, left to right, spicy cumin noodles, and on the right the combination hot pot. Both incredibly delicious)

WARNING- FOOD POISONING. Worst cold noodles I ever had, cost me 12$ and I literally could not finish even half of them they were AWFUL, got the beef bowl too, it was pretty average. Highly overpriced. Worst part? My stomach hurt so much the next day and going to the bathroom was not a fun experience. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

I ordered the peng peng chicken, which is a breaded chicken dish. It was way too sweet and felt like 90% bread. A friend ordered a fried fish dish. It was better, but there was not much meat.Very friendly staff! I might give them a second chance just because of that.

I tried to order food at this restaurant. They told me they only accepted venmo or cash and when I asked if I could use my credit card, they used dirty words to insult me and asked me to get out.The waiter even stalked me and threated me that once I stepped into his restaurant, he would call the police.

Food is decent. Their clay pot isnt some legit clay pot. I think they just cook the food and then put them in the clay pot. I could tell cuz my food was smoking hot while the pot itself was luke warm. Well, what else can you expect from this price tho?

Was an amazing restaurant before they changed it: food is worse than before and more expensive, you have to wait longer and the overall service is worse. Its crazy how they went from a great small place with great food that attracted a lot of students to some more expensive poor quality rip-off (basically pushing as hard as possible for more profit). I used to go there every week but Im not going back any time soon.
