Camp 4 Wine Caf in Modesto

We were a party of 10 and we were seated at a long table in the back area. It was a spacious area with just two long parties. There were some entertaining billboards that would change quotes throughout our seating.The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. He even heard that to people or not that happy with their drink, and offered to change them.Because it was such a hot weather out it was a perfect time for their frosé drinks. They had a strawberry lemonade, or a jalapeño peach.Since we were going to dinner afterwards, we did not order much food, but we did try a few appetizers liked the whipped feta and olives and almonds, and bruschetta which were well presented and tasty.My friend was also able to borrow a stapler because her she had melted in extreme heat as we had walked over. The front of the restaurant was very busy. Would recommend coming here again.The restrooms were in the hallway between the front area and in the back area. I’m at the ceiling as there’s more to see!

Loved it! Definitely returning. They had a great selection of wines. Their selection of food was great. We went with the recommendation from staff and tried feta whip that came with bread & cucumbers and the poki. Both were delicious.Staff was very friendly and attentive.

I recently found out some dear friends of mine were going on a date to camp 4 wine and I called before they arrived to arrange paying for their meal. I spoke with Damon who took my card info and everything. Damon was super cool to deal with very easy to talk to and nice to boot. Took the time to help out where he could have just blown me off knowing he was getting paid regardless. Thanks for helping me out with that. My friends had a great meal and told me they want to go there more often.I’m from Pennsylvania and can’t wait to visit. it is on my must stop list now.

Great ambiance. Great service. Food however did Lack some flavor. Items were simple and truly an attempt for house made style but there lacked a fusion and meat is not good if it doesn’t cut when you bite it. Just sayin…

We had amazing service from Kevin F. We hadn’t been here in a few years. It was just as good as we remember! I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem! If you like wine and good food, this is the place! The atmosphere here is really good. There are no loud TVs, just people having a good time enjoying one another’s company. I recommend going all out with starters, entrées, desserts, and most of all a good bottle of wine.

My first time there, and didnt know what to expect! I was pleasantly surprised with wonderful service, and great food! Its a wine sampling bar, with light food choices, that are yummy!! I would highly recommend this cool little place. There is indoor and outdoor seating also.

Nice vibe. Knowledgeable, friendly server - he was excellent. The recommended wine was good. We had a couple of food items, the smoked hummus was very good while the other item was good but not special. Be aware it is pricey, with a bottle of wine and a couple of food items, youll be over $100.

Very fun night with my hubby! Also went again with my bff and had a good time. You will not regret!! If wine and cheese is your thing this is for you!!

Absolutely loved it! So delicious! Kevin was on it! Had red wine and ahi tuna poke on toast! Will definitely return! Great place for a girls night before a show! Thank you Camp 4 and Kevin!
