Food was gross, the chew mei has ZERO flavor! It tasted like it was only boiled in water with no salt, the beef broccoli was over seasoned and the spicy chicken was hard. Never going here again threw the oboe plate in the trash, Waste of money.

Spent almost $80 here on one trip for me and the family and as the woman was packing my food I asked for a paper plate since my daughters were splitting a combination plate and she said she had to charge me 10 cents… Really?! I just spent $80 and I can’t even get a plate?! Never spending my $$$ here again so rude

Chow mein wasn’t oily like some other places, and the orange chicken wasn’t too tangy either. Veggie rolls are good too. 10/10, service was quick despite the line out the door. Thank you to everyone working.

Customer service was bad. The girl had this RBF and said she couldn’t understand me when I asked her for the plate and rushed me and my friends. The food was the worst Chinese food I’ve tasted by far. The spicy orange chicken was super sweet and the chicken had this stringy texture and some parts were extremely chewy. The “chow mein” had this weird stale flavor. Overall the food was cold, bland… the worst. And to top it all off it gave me a horrible stomach ache and had to be in the bathroom for a hour

I’m doing a series of reviews where I eat at food places I haven’t been to in 5-7 years since I moved away.My family use to own the donut shop a few doors down and they were close with the old owner of the restaurant. Since I was young, I ate here all the time when my family was working. There’s a nostalgic factor and the taste is comforting.I recently ordered again and this place is definitely quantity over quality. I watched as the servers kept piling spoonful after spoonful on my plate! I’m not complaining as the food lasted me a few days! I always order the same thing - noodles, S&S chicken, garlic chicken, and Spicy pork (the best entree!!). The food is on the salty side also, so have a beverage close by to enjoy. Overall, if you are looking for huge portions and food that will fill you up, definitely get Canton.

This place serves the best Kung Pao Chicken I ever had. I live up the hill now so its harder to get to it. It has the best sweet and sour pork too. I have been going for decades. Servers are always great and one especially I have known for years is so nice and kind.

We have been enjoying canton for close to 30 years. Even had the catering trays for both my kids weddings. Absolutely love their food. Garlic chicken and Kung pan are Mt favorite while my son loves their curry chicken.

The chow mein doesnt taste right almost tastes like play-do the fried rice is all soggy and clumped together. veggie egg rolls were far from fresh and they couldnt bother to give me a lid that actually closes for my drink. the entrees broccoli beef and spicy orange chicken were ok not the best.

The worse service! Susan the lady that works in the front has a resting Mad face at all times. Then you have the older lady that has a very hard time speaking English who also works in the front. I was a consistent customer until today! As I get home to enjoy my meal not only was it extremely cold, but I found a same cockroach in my jalapeño kitchen! I will be reporting it to the health department. That’s just gross! Will never go back and I wouldn’t reconnect that place to anyone else… be careful!

Ive tried this location twice since I love a different Canton, however both times I was severely disappointed. Though the service is decently friendly, its very slow. On top of that, the food both times has been dry and seemed like it had been sitting for a very long time despite it just being brought out when I was ordering. I ordered lo mein and orange chicken both times, the lo meins only problem being that it was very dry, however the orange chicken was dry as well as tasting nothing like orange chicken. With my expectations set high by another Canton location, I can promise that Ill be driving the slight extra distance there rather than here.Update from 2 years later:I thought I might give it another go since its been a long time. I regretted that immensely. I couldnt even eat the food this time. It seemed like itd been sitting for hours. The chicken was incredibly dried out and the noodles were soggy and gross. On top of that, the sauce was terrible as well. My two stars is now a one.

This is iconic for the locals that have been here in Moreno valley for over 20 years. You get quantity and quality. They keep the place clean and food fresh. If the food looks dry, they will cook a new fresh batch. The staff is fast courteous and efficient. Not much sitting but I normally take out. Also, they are abiding by CDC and state regulations to control covid.

Not recommended at this time during pandemic. I went in there 2 days ago staff was not friendly at all. I asked if the food was fresh they said yes. That was not the case. Food seemed dehydrated and tasteless. Maybe because hardly anyone is buying, does not mean they should recook or reheat and pass it off as fresh, very dangerous. Im not sure if thats the case but Ive been a long time customer and previous visits have been exceptional. I also have experienced mild diarrhea?????? For now I honestly recommend eating home cooked meals, as tough as it may be. I love Chinese food. Will have to do without for now.

I just ordered a 2 combo dinner.....orange chicken and sweet & sour. Orange chicken was good but my sweet and sour was not edible. It was dry and over cooked.I have been eating at this place for years and I have to say, it always had me coming back. Needless to say, I wont be a customer anymore. The boxes have been cut in half, prices have increased, food has gone down hill along with the portion size. Another great place that has gone to the birds..... good luck.A loss customer.

Great tasting, fresh food. A good variety of dishes. Very reasonable prices. The restaurant is well kept and clean. The staff is friendly. The manager is very professional. You can see that he treats customers with respect and he is nice to the employees. So many other places the managers are yelling and unprofessional and the employees are stressed out. It is pleasant to come here. I eat here every time Im in the area.

Similar to my experience at Mr You in the area. The chow mein is oddly a bright orange color than good chow mein. At Mr You it tasted fermented. I didnt want to try it here either. Its weird looking. So I got fried rice here. It tastes like its a few days old. The other items B&B and beef and peppers seem pretty good. But whatever these places, here and MrYou, are doing to cheap out on chow mein and FR, is noticeable.

Came in at 7:30pm (thats 1 1/2 hr before closing) and they were already out about almost half of their sides and it was a 20 min wait for them to be ready. I have been a customer since they first opened. My daughter was eight, she is now 34. I have eaten at every Chinese restaurant in the IE and the Canton is the best all the way around. You cannot beat the price for the servings and the taste is wonderful!! This is Canton Chinese so some may confuse the two. If ever there is a problem with your food they will replace it without a problem. They are there to please there customers and I am certainly one of those satisfied customers

The people in MOVAL do not know what good Chinese food is... this place was pretty bad. On business trip and was looking for something quick without waiting in a line or drive to far off from my motel. Found Canton Chinese Food down the street when I pulled into a small shopping mall. Chinese food has always been my go to when Im on the road. Luckily there were no long lines, the selections were plenty and looked like it they just came off the stove, grill, wok, etc!! The gal behind the counter greeted me quickly and man did she serve up a mean 2 entree dish (teri chicken and garlic chicken with noodles and fried rice). So for about $8 bucks, I had my dinner and tomorrow nights dinner!!

Ive been going here for about 25 yrs now!!! I used to work for the cable company in the area and would go here a lot. The food is ALWAYS fresh and REALLY TASTY...Its still my favorite Chinese place but now I have to drive from Beaumont (20 min), worth the drive every time !!! They only have a few tables to sit at, its more like a take out place with the food layed out under the glass so you need to go a little before lunch or after if U need a table.

They serve, hands down, the best Kung Pao chicken I’ve ever had.The jalapeño chicken, lo mein, orange chicken, garlic chicken, and cream cheese wontons are all fantastic.An all time classic combo was the jalapeño and pineapple chicken. The contrasting flavors of sweet and spicy was perfection! Sadly, they recently took pineapple chicken off the menu.The portion size and value here can not be beat. I have been wanting to stop by Canton after a coworker recommended it. So I stopped in to carry out some dinner at 7:30.When I arrived, I was a little surprised at how limited the seating was. But most people appeared to be carrying out food so there were seats available. The hot food looked fresh and well prepared. I ordered the 2 entre combo for $7.49 (drink not included) with garlic chicken and kung pow chicken. I also wanted to try the cheese wontons (made with imitation crab) and received 6 for $4.95. I had to wait a few minutes for the wontons to cook, but that was fine. I paid with my debit card and they let me know there is a $0.30 charge for this. The staff were very friendly and kind, and I appreciated the warning.When I got home and began to eat, I wasnt sure which chicken was which. But I was sure Id be able to tell pretty quick. Unfortunately, it seemed I was eating orange chicken and orange chicken with chili peppers. No garlic flavor and no heat could be found anywhere in my entrees. The wontons were ok, but the sweet & sour sauce and teriyaki sause they had in cups at the register were not quite made correctly, especially the teriyaki sauce.In summary, you get quick food at a decent price. If you you dont care about how it tastes, then you will leave pretty satisfied. For me, I firmly believe that the difference in good vs bad Americanized Chinese food is the sauce.

Terrible tasting Teriyaki chicken. To make matters worse, the teriyaki sauce was served on the side, cold and chunky. Garlic chicken tasted good, however most pieces didnt have meat inside. Minimum size to purchase cream cheese wontons is in a half dozen. Overall one of the top 3 worst places Ive eaten Chinese food from. I recommend dining elsewhere.

The only reason why Im giving this place a 3 is because of the way the owner treated his employees. I accidentally ordered one too many wontons thinking the order contained 3 wontons & the owner yelled at the ladies in front of all customers. I felt embarrassed for them.
