Capital Seafood Restaurant in Irvine

The shrimp was tough, so the quality of the shrimp can be improved. The Peking duck was dry and the skin didnt have enough fat. The beef in the beef noodles was tough and had an unfresh smell and taste. Other dim sum dishes were decent. The egg tarts, red bean and purple rice cakes and pineapple buns with cream filling were tasty, but the sesame balls with red bean filling were too tough and the mango pudding had flavoring that tasted off and bad. The ice water had a crisp, clean taste.

Wide variety of different foods. Shrimp egg rolls were so good. Noodle was ok and tasty and the portion was so big. Pineapple was complimentary and nice of them.

The food was decent. Not the best quality, but by no means bad. Capital Seafood offers a wide variety of food for affordable prices. The atmosphere is great and the tea is amazing. For the lack of stupendous food quality (the food is still decent) Capital Seafood makes up for with some of the quickest and efficient service Ive seen.A great restaurant with decent food and stupendous service.(Besides, Im picky with Chinese food)

Weve tried their Capitals Filet Mignon and Seafood with veggies it was delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful. We also had their hot and sour soup with the meal. The only complaint we have was the brown rice they served to us was too hard (overcooked)!

We have a business meeting here(12 persons) and ordered 15 courses. The whole quality of food was normal comparing to the price(more than $2,000) and service was good. But someone in the next room were smoking and we smelled smoke during the meeting.

It’s good enough if you’re craving dim sum and don’t want to drive far in search of really delicious dimsum toward LA. I like their jellyfish dish but you have to specifically ask for it. Their salted fish and chicken and fried rice is good too!Try their chrysanthemum tea to try instead of their usual tea that they serve with dim sum. You just need to ask for it upfront before being served their default (jasmine?) tea.This is my go to spot asides from Tim Ho Wan in Irvine.

The welcoming was kind, we waited for 20 until someone came to ask us everything was okay. No one realized we haven’t been served.Tried ordering by circle items on the menu, honestly delicious food and a good verify. Over all 4 stars out of 5.

I was kind of disappointed about the food. Dim sum was way too salty and too much msg! I was so parched after eating. The prices they charged doesn’t reflect the food quality. Just because I dined alone that they gave me a seat right across the toilet entrance. On the plus side, the staffs were very attentive.

Definitely would come back but not sure why don’t offer black vinegar. Green beans were the best!

I tasted better dim sum. But I rate it for 4 anyway. Good restaurant n decent service. Nothing to fault on the food.
