This place used to be the Galley but rebranded.I came here for a weekday lunch with coworkers and ordered the beer battered fish tacos with cilantro rice and beans. The tacos were good, the rice was bland and overcooked, the beans were okay. Also, they charge for chips and salsa which is kind of disappointing.They have a bar too so it could be a good place to go for a couple beers after work.

This place is definitely worth trying out if your in the high desert area. Good food and good vibes. Nice place to come hang out with friends. The surf and turf tacos are definitely. Friendly customer service. Drinks are delicious also and not expensive.

With one bite of their Baja style fish tacos you will remember the good times had on beautiful Baja beach or boardwalk. You will remember the fresh seafood coming on to the dock from the local fishermans boats right before you order it. Thats how good and fresh their food is at the Galley. Two of my favorites are the Surf and Turf Fries and the Steak (asada) burrito wet with the hottest salsa they have instead of enchilada sauce. Fire! Both figuratively and literally, just how I like it. They have great seafood cocteles, ceviche tostadas and a variety of delicious fish and shrimp tacos prepared different ways. The bar is small but always happening and also has a good happy hour menu. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Stopped by for a late dinner, walked in and sat at the bar. They have a full service bar with a few tv’s to watch any game that’s on. We ordered a pitcher of 805, the surf and turf fries, Ensenada style tacos, a potato taco and the fried ice cream. Everything was delicious and tasted very fresh. We would definitely come back again!

One of my favorite places in the HD! Their mixed veggies are incredible. Cant recommend this place enough. My only complaint is the restaurant needs its own building. I dont quite like when restaurants are in suites. Throws off the vibe a bit, in my opinion.

BEST FISH TACOS EVER! So good that I went two days in a row. Theyve perfected the breading. Deep fried crunchy and light goodness with perfectly moist fish. Everything is fresh and flavorful, with the right amount of sauce.I had the Galley taco, Ensenada (panko breaded), battered shrimp, steak, elotes, chips with salsa and chips with guac. Tacos are very big and are very filling, food also came out quick and great service, friendly staff!Love this place and hope to come back soon.q

The tacos are amazing!! I went to accompany my boyfriend on a work trip and bought some tacos for us. They taste as if you were eating in Mexico. I highly recommend this place for wanting to be the most authentic! 😋 Fyi, I tend to be very picky when it comes to Mexican food but this food is top-notch!

Fantastic place. Love their tacos! can hardly wait for the next visit. I would recommend the soft tacos over the crunchy. Great service, food was hot when it arrived. They got pretty busy right at lunch time (12:00 noon), so Id recommend getting in a little early. Real good food, so Im glad they were busy. That means theyll stick around for a while.Went again a month later, still great food and great service! Would highly recommend anyone to get the soft tacos with panko crust on the fish. My husband and I tried this place for the first time, we ordered 5 tacos to go (in photos), everything was good but not amazing. We spent just under $20 and unfortunately dont feel it was the best spent. I enjoyed the blackened fish taco the most. The shrimp taco didnt seem to have enough shrimp for the price...the tortillas seem homemade, not quite sure though. I think I would be more willing to go again when there is a deal. Lastly, they did not have any to go menus or else I would have photographed...

I have been coming to this location for years and always have a great experience. They have really good options for kids so the little ones are always happy and satisfied here. While the tacos are good, i would not recommend price checking the current menu they have up. I expected to spend less than $10 for 2 tacos; but rather spent just over $10, and no this wasnt the taco plate. Just 2 tacos. If you want rice and beans, plan to spend about $15 for a 2 taco plate

1st time visit with coworkers for happy hour. Ambience was great and the house margaritas were SO good, especially for the happy hour price- lots of flavors! Was also happy with the chips, guac and salsa! The tortillas for the tacos were heavy on the corn so it kind of overpowered the flavor of the tacos, but the fish was light and airy and the ingredients were fresh! Also, service was a little confusing as we had different waitresses during our visit, but it might be that businesses are still getting organized following COVID. Will go back for the margaritas... maybe on Taco Tuesday or Thursday when elotes are $1.50 all day!! 🌮🌽🥑🌶🍹

Got there around 6:30, they sat our party of 6 almost immediately, it only took a few minutes for them to come and take our order, and by the time I came back from washing my hands the food was already on the table. First time here. I ordered a chicken plate(shown), 2 fish tacos(one breaded, one grilled), and 2 chicken tacos to go.They messed up my order and forgot the chicken tacos. I received 3 breaded fish and 1 grilled fish instead.The chicken (from chicken plate) was pretty dry and the white rice was cooked fine.The breaded fish tacos were fine, nothing really special.The grilled fish taco had an extremely small portion of fish(about the length of half the tortilla straight across), flavor was similar to the breaded fish, fine but nothing special.For the price I expected more. I might try again to see if it was a bad day for them but probably not any time soon.Would be one star but the the bartender earned an extra one, she was very friendly and welcoming with good small talk. This was my first time here. Some of my family and I met here for dinner. I had elote, a chicken taco plate with cilantro rice and black beans. I love the surf and turf fries! They used to make them with crispy seasoned fries and I noticed recently on my past few orders that they changed the fry brand so their regular fries now. My love for fish tacos is out of this world, and this restaurant really did a great job with my blackened fish taco. I went to get food for the first time there for take out. The music was way too loud.. I would never eat in there . The cashier had no idea how many fish come in the fish and chips when I asked her. We got the chicken and rice.. That was really good.. But the fish and chips were not to my taste. The fries were way over cooked and the fish was soggy. Maybe I just had a bad experience. And I also thought it was a bit expensive for what it was.

This place is Amazing!! It has been on our radar for months passing thru Victorville from Vegas to Cali. We finally stopped in & it was absolutely delicious! The service was good, even tho they were super busy, ot seemed like theyay have been short staffed. Even with that, once we ordered the food, it was fast & was perfect. They used to have happy hour after 8pm and I went because their street tacos are so good, but they dont have that anymore. I usually go to the apple valley location because everytime I come to this one its not as good, but I was really wanting some of their carne asada fries and i was on this side of town. Big mistake. The fish tacos are excellent, as are the shrimp tacos. The only thing that I find disconcerting is that the shrimp tacos have a surcharge associated with them. Theres a $2 charge for shrimp or salmon I believe it is on these tacos. Their food is excellent and they do have a variety of items and of course they do have a bar as well with plenty of televisions to watch your favourite game. Staff is magnificent and very cordial and willing to help also to describe exactly what their menu items contain. Highly recommended!

The food is decent however I recommend that you do not have it delivered. I am convinced that the employees there are incapable of following simple directions . I ordered through door dash and ask for red and green salsa with my food. Mind you it is on the special instructions. First I asked for my tacos to be lettuce wrapped as I’m doing keto and wanted to try something new I was given regular tortillas the food was absolutely over seasoned and then I asked for shrimp tacos and was given fish I got a feeling that the cashier who took my order really didn’t have very much interest in what I wanted as a customer I also asked for vegetables on the side which I was given but they were completely soaked and overcooked like if they had just been sitting for a prolonged period. Their salsas are so delicious they have a great taste and are not too spicy for me coming from someone that dislikes spicy food. The Galley is a pretty well-known establishment in the city of Victorville, known for serving up fish tacos. Its easy to spot from the I-15 as it sits facing the freeway on Amargosa Rd. The prime time to visit is when they have Happy Hour or if you happen to chance upon a weekday special that you particularly like.Happy Hour is from Monday through Friday from 3PM-5PM, but they offer all day weekday specials, too. Menu is pretty straightforward, but there are a ton of choices to choose from - plates, tacos, bowls, burritos - they even have a kids menu for the little ones.We stuck with the fish taco choices and tried galley, Ensenada, and blackened fish styles (each one is $3.45). Tacos come prepared very simply, with the fish, pico de gallo, cabbage, cream sauce, and chipotle mayo. Theres a sauce bar by the drinks where you can stock up on sauces and limes to customize your taco.Out of the three selections, my favorite was the panko crusted (galley style) - the fish tasted the best here, probably because the outside was fried. I was still able to taste the tenderness of the fish, which went great with the crispy outside. Beer battered (Ensenada) was alright, but was a little on the drier side. Fish didnt taste as good, but it wasnt too bad. My least favorite was the blackened fish, which sounded really great but had a little too much fishy taste was on the drier side as well. For about $3.50 for each taco, I dont think they were worth the price. Id definitely recommend dropping by on Tuesdays where you can get tacos for $1.50 (from a limited selection of choices).Workers didnt seem too friendly or wanting to engage; however, when asked questions, the worker ringing us up was helpful. We did notice that one of the workers came around to the customers sitting around us to ask how they were doing, but didnt do the same for us - odd, but we were already almost done with the meal.tl;dr - A decent place to grab some tacos, drinks, or even some ceviche. Decorations on the wall are really nice, and I can see this being a great place to hang out with coworkers for happy hour. Tacos were just okay for me, but I wouldnt mind coming back on a daily special day to try some other items.

Our favorites were the Ensenada style taco and the guacamole.The reason we give four stars: the woman who took out order did not have the greatest customer service skills. I asked a couple of questions about happy hour what kind of shell/tortilla the taco came with. She wasn’t rude, but definitely seemed annoyed. I felt a little unwelcome (to the point of feeling like I had to explain that it was my first time there).The bartender, Sarah, was great.
