2023-12-09 02:56:16Delicious, authentic Uzbekistan cuisine made in a true home-cooked style. We were particularly impressed by how good their take on shawarma is. It is loaded with delicious meat, creamy and crunchy. We could not get enough of the authentic Uzbek Samsa, served with a traditional tomato sauce. The lagman soup with handmade noodles was very soothing on this cold winter day.Very happy with the quality of the food, the home-cooked style, the lack of grease or deep fried preparations and the prompt and polite service. Restaurant is clean and well maintained, meat served is halal (for those who are observant). Very excited to come back soon

2023-10-06 03:10:53The most delicious Uzbek cuisine in the area with decent prices, portions are pretty large. It’s a small, but very clean & beautiful restaurant. This time we enjoyed plov, lagman, manti & achichuk for 2 people, got manti for kids to go. Also had baklava for dessert which is not on the menu, btw, so you just have to ask what kind of sweets they have.Perfect place for the families with children to enjoy delightful food.

2023-07-21 04:46:10So happy they opened up shop in Citrus Heights! If youve never had Uzbek cuisine, this is probably the best place to try it. They have a few things on the menu (all of which I imagine are great), but Ive tried the plov so far. Its like a rice pilaf with roasted meat, carrots, chickpeas, and raisins. It was just *chefs kiss.* I highly recommend stopping by, and am looking forward to trying more items!

2023-11-18 20:24:47Super delicious Uzbek cuisine food. The flavors are rich and the spices are perfectly balanced. One bite and youre transported to the bustling streets of Uzbekistan. The kebabs are juicy and tender, while the plov is fluffy and fragrant. The variety of dishes is impressive, from samsa to manty, each one more mouthwatering than the last. The combination of meat, vegetables, and aromatic herbs creates a symphony of flavors that is simply unforgettable. If youre a food lover, you must try Uzbek cuisine at least once in your life.

2023-10-24 00:56:42Food was INCREDIBLE. Service was not *bad* but they were not very attentive to us. I don’t care though, absolutely worth it for how good the food was!! The plov was my favorite but the manti and kebabs were unbelievable also. And try the tarragon soda! It’s really great! For fans of ginger ale!

2023-11-17 21:41:43I was in Sacramento with my friends and stopped by this cozy Uzbek Cuisine for Shawarma. We ordered Shawarma beef, samsy and beef shashlik. Shawarma was the best one I’ve tried in California. Shashlik was also amazing, meat was tender and well marinated. Definitely recommend this place! We got some drinks for complimentary, which was really kind. Unfortunately didn’t take any pictures, we were so hungry 🤤
