Met up here for a Doc Wong riding clinic. (My first one.) I grew up in San Carlos, when we were little, most of early bicycle rides were to this shopping center were for candy. Later for Pizza, and when older, for nice dinners. Its a great little community shopping center.

Nice little shopping center at the intersection of Ralston & Alameda in Belmont. There’s a grocery store, several restaurants, a wonderful garden shop, and a couple boutiques. We love visiting the Ladera Garden & Gifts shop there.

Carlmont Village Shopping Plaza is in the middle of Belmont and serves most of the communitys needs from groceries, eateries, hardware, Baskin and Robbins, etc. Plus its right across the street from a Catholic Church.

Been shopping here 20+ years. An absolutely amazing staff and meat/fish department! Staff is super competent, helpful, and friendly. More than two people in any line, and they open another register. Meat is properly cut and trimmed, not just hacked apart. When I get home I can use it as is, no need to spend 15 minutes cleaning up badly trimmed pieces. Fantastic food and other products, and the prices are great.

First time here just for ice cream. Not impressed with the interior, it needs a really thorough cleaning (especially during Covid). Nothing there seemed like it had been recently scrubbed clean. Table was a bit sticky and they have so many eclectic items hanging all over the ceiling and walls that were just gathering gross dust. Will not be back.

Love all the small businesses here. Especially Laderas and Waterdog. Theres always ample parking somewhere and the area is well kept. Its definitely a community spot since youll find lots of school kids and families walking around after 2pm.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in our backyard. Very dog friendly, the patio area is set down from the parking area and provides and tranquil and casual setting to kick back to enjoy a full meal or simply imbibing. Great beer selection available. Only drawback that we could find was the cost. As with many restaurants on the peninsula, it is overpriced for what it offers - albeit on the higher end, essentially bar food.

Liquor store has great scotch (Ardbeg, Laphroaig, Lagavullin, Octomore!).The Ace Hardware store is well stocked and has a good bbq section.Lunardis Market has fantastic meat and very good produce.

I lived near the Village for most of my youth. It has evolved over time and has been anchored by Lunardis market and Village Host Pizza (best pizza ON TNE PLANET!) Always lots of parking.

Nice and vibrant little shopping mall. Lunardis is a top notch grocery spot. They have a well sorted hardware store and a couple of restaurants and many more business. There is a coin car wash on the back. Very safe small strip mall. Popular with the locals.

Bill the owner of lunardis is a stand up guy, really warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Big selection of wine, great soup to go and I Always make sure to grab a deli sandwich while Im here. Not as good as the ones across the street at ikes lair but that place closes way too early for a sandwich shop.

I like Carlmont Shopping Center but I wish it had a good restaurant. If you like pizza, Japanese or Mexican food there are those restaurants. The only regular restaurant is Waterdog Cafe and I found the food there terrible and over-priced, and the cocktails were not great either. I love Lunardis to grocery shop and Ace Hardware for supplies. I have been shopping here for forty-five years and have watched it change in many ways. There is also a coin car wash around the back of the center which is good.

This location is great because there is a gas station close by also eateries an Ace Hardware and Lunardis is also there so you can do some grocery shopping if needed. This place is always busy but Im always able to find parking

Excellent little neighborhood grocery store. Have a little of all the important stuff. Have a fair selection of fresh produce and other fresh goods.Definitely much more convenient to stop in than any of the supermarkets outside the neighborhood.Support local.

Would be five stars but parking is the pits. Great to have a grocery store that is top notch (Lunardis) and stellar pizza parlor (Village Host) and the new addition of Waterdog Tavern. The beer garden out side is beautiful.Sitting outside is downright amazing on a hot summer night. Dogs abound, kids too... After Baskin and Robbins is next door. :)

This Shopping center is alwayss clean and theres alot of nice people around here, nice selection of stores and restaurants too...Gin Mon has the best Chinese food in the Area ! The Mexican restaurant has the Best Burritos...And theres The Burger place..And Japanese Place thats got to be the Best Japanese food I have ate ..Ive been to most restaurants in the shopping center! And I can say for All ...They are ALL very clean...The People are polite ...And theres Always parking...watch out for crazy drivers! Some people are always in a hurry!

Great place to support the local economy. Sorta feels like the old days with smaller shops where great service is a given, not a rarity. Highlights for me: 1. Ace Hardware, a small hardware store with an enormous inventory--its rare that they dont have what I need for home maintenance. 2. Baskin Robbins is great for the kids. Good value and great ice cream 3. Lunardis Market blows Safeway out of the water in terms of quality and service. They provide ample checkers with baggers--what a concept. The Deli and meat counters are full service and fantastic.

Worth a visit for the locally operated Lunardi Supermarket. Prices are fair, and the produce and meat counter are superior to the large chain supermarkets near Carlmont Shopping Center. Jamba Juice is back again! Next to the B & R ice cream place is a bagel place and a hardware store. There is a Bank of America here as well.

Okay - a fabulous Saturday for me is to go to Bella Nails for a pedicure and Gin Mon for lunch afterwards. Some times, Ill add some grocery shopping at Lunardis in.On this last visit, I got drinks to-go for me (at Subway) and my sister (at Starbucks.} Really have a lot to offer. Their newest addition is the superb Ladera Garden Center for plants and uber elegant gifts.

Not a big fan of this location - the isles are long and skinny, the floors are old, theres no self checkout & the prices are higher than normal- The bakery is ok and they have my favorite cold organic coffee

Parking is quite a challenge here like many other squares. But the narrow convoluted and often one way lanes here dont always alternate the driving directions in turns. Surrounded by two busy streets makes it even harder to pull in and out of the square. Unless necessary, we seldom go there for shopping or dining.

An old white senior looking gentleman made kissing noises at me and said to me how much after I got done with grocery shopping and while I was walking to my car. I yelled at him to go away but he kept following me! I have never been back to this store since. I was harrassed, followed, and very scared of my safety. I had to even move away from Belmont because of this issue.

Cuter-than-your-average-strip-mall in the middle of Belmont. Frequented mostly by locals, theres no standout anchor that brings em in, aside from perhaps upscale grocery Lunardis. Instead, theres a collection of seemingly competently-run restaurants (continental, mexican, chinese, japanese, pizza, bagels, etc.), specialty shops (kitchen design, dry cleaning, optometry, salon, chiropractor, convenience store with liquor license, etc.), and a couple of national/regional chains/franchises (Bank of America, Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, Subway, ACE Hardware, Verizon).The crown gem of this mall used to be Tylers nursery, a little Eden hidden one floor down from the main level, where a meandering stream ran through rows of interesting plants and trees, under a footbridge and next to a fountain. After over half a century, Tylers is closing in September 2015, and whatever replaces it will have a significant impact on whether the mall retains its unique flavor.
