Cleaning is not a priority in this restaurant. The door to the bathroom is broken and the toilet was disgusting. No one checks for cleanliness. Walking up to ask if the other bathroom was available, and to let them know the bathroom needed to be cleaned, no one approached me, and behind the counter was also filthy. Trash on the floor that no one bothered to pick up. They just kept walking all over it. Disgraceful

Waited 7 mins to get help to take my order, workers are not morning people, the bathroom is nasty for 8am. Seems they rather get the drive thru people out before help those of us in lobby. They walked by us the whole time we waited to take our order and no one greeted us, said we will be with you or even smile. We felt like a burden coming into their store.15 mins and still waiting on our food.

Got my order wrong twice, window display at drive through was broken. Finally got the burgers and they were black- burnt. Had to go back in and they said that the burn was normal because their grill was set to a high temp and they couldnt change it and needed someone to call them and say what temp to set it out. She said she couldnt cook it again without it coming out the same way... Not sure if that was a real reason or just some weird excuse. Was every single burger served today also burned? Can you not cook a burger so it doesnt burn? OK. Usually Carls is good so it was just the people here that cant.. cook a burger without it being completely charred.

Waited 30 mins in the drive thru line, when I got my food, it was barely warm and chicken patty was dark brown, probably from being old. Lady at the drive thru window was rude and the reason for the long line seemed like she had a couple of friends in there that she was chit chatting with the entire time.Time before this visit, my experience was the opposite. The younger girl was professional and the food was fresh and hot.

I keep going between a 3 star and a 4 star rating. On one hand, the people that work there are really nice. The fries are always hot. The chicken strips are delicious.On the other, if you dont like onions on your burger, they dont care. Honestly, if this was a one off incident, I wouldnt care. It happens. Every time I go to this Carls Jr, though, they load me up with onions even when I ask for them to leave them off.Granted theyve started including all of our food now. So, thats positive. It seems like theyve had a shift in employees for the better. Now if theyll just stop giving me onions.

If you havent been to Carls Jr and tried their Beyond Burgers your missing out. They are well, beyond great!The BBQ Spicy Beyond is my favorite but, the Super Star with Cheese is also fantastic. I hope they keep the BBQ one as it is only for a limited time. Today I opted for the Super Star with Cheese which is shown in this photo with the Zucchini well done and, they nailed it!I hope your not scared to try the beyond items because I dont think you will miss anything. I have tried a lot of different vegetarian items and this one is the best. Dont forget they have beyond sausage as well which is great.

I had amazing customer service at Carl’s Jr. The reason I am not fully satisfied with my experience at this wonderful place is due to the lack of buttered chicken shawarma. I am not pleased. The closest I got to buttered chicken shawarma was a greasy chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was fairly good, but I am struggling to find places with buttered chicken shawarma. I would really appreciate it if you guys added buttered chicken shawarma to the menu.

I don’t even know where to start. So they do t have any lids or straws out. You have to ask for them. Why would t they give that when you order, no napkins out you also have to ask for those, the blue power aid is more water then flavor. They do t have any trays so I had to ask for more napkins so we hade something to eat on. I’m allergic to cheese so I asked for no cheese and guess what I had cheese on my burger. Who’s the manger and what are they even doing? A worker was showing a costumer picture on her the employees phone, she could and should have been cleaning trays for the costumers or stocking the drying lids and straws. Or making sure orders are correct. The manager should revive a write up or something

The reason I gave two stars instead of zero is because the staff (Not including management/shift leaders) always look like they are working their butts off and are always really friendly. The reason I gave two stars instead of five is because Ive never seen a manager or shift leader helping out their staff and this place is extremely understaffed. The staff pays more attention to the drive thru customers, none of the tables are ever wiped down and the bathrooms are disgusting.One of the nice things about eating at Carls Jr used to be that they gave out table numbers and would bring your food to your table on trays but now they bag your food no matter what and just yell out your number from the counter. I dont know if all Carls Jrs do this now or if its just this one restaurant.The food is usually fresh and well made but the owner of this location needs to be overseeing their restaurant better. Maybe they just need to shut down the lobby since its apparent that its not a priority.

Drove here from morongo valley and they forgot half my order. Called back and talked to javier who said he was the GM and he was so rude. He immediately told me I couldn’t be refunded and cut me off while trying to explain what happened. He gave me the boss number and her phone number went right to VM when I tried to call her with the voicemail box being full. They told me if I wanted anything resolved to drive all the way back even tho I have my receipt and they should be able to refund me over the phone back to my card how I paid.

I accept there are delays because of COVID-19 but they havent improved since this has started.I went back today, 10/21/2023 and after paying for only a Super Star I left 39 minutes later with a refund. After a trip to Joshua Tree NP, I came by here during lunch on a moderately busy Thursday. My order included the Famous Star burger with cheese. And six pieces of Chicken Stars—which were indicated as served with a small fry portion and drink.I enjoyed the above average burger but it couldnt prevent this one-star rating.The restaurant (clerk and manager present) refused to give me that small fry and drink. They insisted I get a combo. Eventually, they charged those included items as separate add-ons.After moving on from the area, I contacted corporate. Corporate contacted this franchise. This franchise called me and insisted I stop by again in order for them to correct their mistake.A warning to out-of-towners: you are REALLY screwed if this business cheats you.Id moved on, a distance away, when this location reached out. I provided the receipt number and amount to refund. The manager acknowledged and then... nothing. For weeks, I gave them time to see if a refund would come through. To see if this review was needed.Indeed, my review is necessary. This unscrupulous eatery deserves it.

Considering Carls Jr.s parking lot is under construction-zone....they didnt let that interfere with fabulous service, the young lady at the window taking my money was all smiles, she had great attitude and was very polite. she didnt get upset when I asked for extra napkins.....I through into circulation 2022 sacawega 2022 Uncirculated $1 dollars and the young lady at the window thought they were cool, she thought it was even cooler that there wa only one set of finger prints on them until she touched them and I told her there are only two sets of prints on them, that mine were number one and hers were the 2nd prints on them...I also told her that the 2022 was imprinted on the outside rim....she looked and then looked a little harder and saw the year. They are very pretty this year. Anyways Carls Jr. was clean on the inside and on the outside and everyone was so very pleasant....oh yea, the food was fresh and hot and tasted great even though I was starving and on my way to do Midnight Laundry......fun!! Ive never been to this Carls Jr when it wasnt top dog....great job Team Carls jr. Thank You!

Not only did I receive my Jalapeno Double burger extremely fast, and extremely delicious, but drive-thru employee, Jesus V, was extremely nice and helpful, and is a great asset to the Carls Jr company. It’s Carla Jr. So nothing special. But that being said I have been to many and some are much worse then others this one is alright not the best not worse for sure. But in the town of yucca valley and Joshua tree even Twentynine Palms if not counting the marine base it the only carls if you can’t get onto the military base.Price are higher now but so are they other places and that is as but what can you do? Have a good meal here it’s tasty enough better then the other burger places you know the ones.

I love Carls Jr but recently my last two experiences have been horrible. My chicken sandwich had a hair in the patty. When I bet in to it, the hair slud thru my teeth. I cant get it out of my head. Staff is friendly, food tends to be served lukewarm. When eating inside the food taste slightly more fresh. Either way its lukewarm unless youre lucky enough to be the first customer to order something they just ran out of and was just made. Inside of the restaurant is gross. Smells gross, floors are dirty, tables smell like moist dirty clothing. Bathrooms are even more of an atrocity. Absolutely unusable, youre better off going outside by the dumpster. If you stick to the drive-thru its acceptable for the price.

Fairly decent tasting when youre craving Carls Jr but the onion rings were excessively breaded and nothing in my bag was hot when I got it home 1 mile away in 97° weather - not sure what thats about. The joint wasnt busy but it took a good 5 minutes before anyone at the counter even acknowledged my presence. Mediocre, but not horrible.

I love to eat Carl’s Jr. food, but this location has yet to serve me an actually hot meal. I have even tried to narrow this down by simply eating there in the dining room with the belief that it can’t be cold if I’m only 10 feet away from the grill and kitchen, but sadly I was wrong. I’m against bringing food back to an establishment and complaining for what I think are obvious reasons, so I keep it to myself and at times will just post a review. Only reason I gave 3 stars and not less is because for some reason I just like their food...........but other locations.

I had a digital coupon - buy 2 Angus Steakhouse burgers for $8.49. This is the first time using a digital coupon with Carls Jr. I told the cashier while at the Drive-Thru speaker box I have this coupon and wasnt sure how to use it. I told him it says, get to Angus burgers for $8.49. He said, Id have my total at the window. When I showed the cashier the coupon, he couldnt ring it thru and called for the manager. She said We dont have the Steakhouse burger anymore and you asked for 2 Original Angus Burgers. I said, Well I really wasnt sure about how to do this. The drive through line is slow at best6, in fact, counter service is also slow. The food never tastes fresh to me. Burgers are sloppy to the point that you really need a bath after eating one. Their coffee and biscuits are very good, but little else. I have to say that a lot of my friends appreciate the place, but I dont get it. Also if you can take a few minutes and look up their record of health code violations online, it is many pages long and documents a filthy restaurant.Bon appetite!

Theres nothing wrong with that, we all are beginners at one time BUT, when a customer has questions that you dont know the answer to, its fine to ask a more experienced coworker. By the time he had helped me, there was a line behind me, and the other counter worker took over cash register to have him take dine-in orders to diners. He also needs some social skills. When my order came, I said, Thank you very much. Nada from him. No eye contact, no smile, not even a grunt indicating he had heard me. (My voice carries.)Maybe hes autistic? Seems like whenever I go in at night the cashier is always alone working drive thru and dine in while the Manager is standing around on her phone. Food is hit or miss. Depends on if you get one of the orders they messed up on or if it’s made when you ask for it. Fries are cold. I will not be returning and I’ll let my friends and family know not to either. One of my pet peeves is when fast food takes too long... A drive-thru should be fast! And the worst part about it was there was bag that was sitting next to the window for a little while before it was given to me, it was my food! I started eating it right away and it wasnt even hot anymore. I was in a hurry so I didnt have time to go inside and ask for a replacement.

Do not try the A1 double cheeseburger. They advertise this big juicy double meat, double cheese with 2 nice onion rings, all saucy with A1 sauce. When I opened the wrapper it was the saddest, driest burger Ive ever eaten there! It had only 1tiny onion ring. The meat was 2 thin shriveled up patties, with barely noticeable cheese on it! Took a very long time to get out food. Only ordered 2 combos and it was at least a 15 minute wait. We were the only couple in the dining area. 4 people came inside from the drive-thru line complaining their order was wrong. So not only did it take way to long for our food, several orders were made incorrectly. While we were finishing up our food we heard some commotion coming from the kitchen. We were listening to them count and laugh. Thought it was bizarre then we seen one of the ladies take the 20 hamburgers to go in her personal car. So I dont know if they do grub hub or uber eats but it was def. Weird, looked as if she was taking it home to her family. Perhaps thats why our food took so long and others were incorrect? But on top of that they were not very welcoming or friendly. The dining area was filty as well as the bathrooms. Half of the soda choices were not working. Paid nearly $22 for the 2 of us to eat. Should have kept driving to a real restaurant for that price!

Lost my appetite standing in line and walked out. This place is so expensive, the employees argue with each other and the place is just filthy. And its been this way since 2002. How this place stays in business just blows my mind. It must be a money laundering front. Its never crowded.We left here and ended up in a French Bistro in Landers that was just amazing. Went there for what I thought should have been a nice change. We went through the drive thru. The lady asked us twice to repeat our order, a western bacon combo, med fries and a diet dr. Pepper, which came out fine. My order was Santa fe chicken sandwich, criss cut fries and a coke zero. I got a homestyle chicken sandwich, regular fries and a diet coke. When I brought up the fries, which I noticed right away, I got an indifferent attitude and excuses why they didnt want to make it right.

This is Carls Jr. we are talking about here. Nothing fancy. Just another burger chain slinging fast food for our convenience. This location specifically had a recent remodel of the front area as somebody drove their car through the front of the store on accident. Carls is good but a bit pricey for what you get although you cant really ever go wrong with the Western Bacon Cheeseburger. One of my long time favorites. My only complaint here is they either dont take Samsung pay or they dont know how to make their terminals work to accept it. All in all they get a fair 4 stars...
