Hello all looking to save $$ on quality water! We used to buy it at Costco until we heard we could buy direct. We live in the Murrieta/Temecula area so it’s a bit of a drive and that’s why we bring 6 - 5 Gal bottles. Current cost is $1 per gallon up to 5 gallons at a time. They can make change during normal hours otherwise bring $1, $5 and $10 or change. Enjoy the best natural alkaline artesian water since 1882!

Been making the bi-monthly drive here for drinking water for years, but noticed the last couple times the water doesn’t taste the same. Pretty much tastes like tap water. Just talked to my friend who also makes the drive and she feels the same way. Anyone else notice a change in taste? It was so nice to have a place to come and get real, pure spring water that tasted amazing. I also notice that the machines are run down. Last month, 2 were out of order, others have broken buttons, my machine had the display that shows the amount of money you inserted and therefore used completely broken out. Sad.

I love thier water so much but Thier parking situation is quite confusing with signs saying no parking. Again though quite convenient and water that you can feel the health difference. If they could fix one thing on their water system though it would be the splash back on pour but overall that was super convent and self explanitory.

The water is amazing!! The filling stations are less than amazing. They often don’t work. Staff is aware, as there are numerous signs posted on filling stations that are out of order. They only take cash (1,5,10’s) or change and the machines often return the money back to you, making you repeatedly insert your money to get your water. They’re definitely in need of upgrading the equipment!

We love this water quality! It is bar none and worth the trek for fill ups and $5 per gallon. I like the feature of washing for ten cents. Sometimes the faucets are down though everyone is patient. You need $1, $5, $10 bills only. Or coins.

Love this place, so friendly and charming. Best water I’ve ever tasted. I feel fortunate to live so close, I only drink this now. I was pleasantly surprised with the price, $1 dollar per gallon seems more than reasonable to me! People spend more than that on a tiny bottle of water from the gas station. To everyone complaining about price, have you not noticed that literally everything is more expensive now?? They didn’t raise the price out of greed, but necessity!! We should be thanking them for not raising the price more!! I guarantee they’re taking a hit to profit margins by keeping the price as low as it is. Mark my words, this water is special!!

Weve been drinking ONLY this water for about 7 years now. We have a hot/cold water dispenser in our home where we load 5 gallon jugs to. We cook with it and even spray it on our faces.Good stuff. I love its medicinal properties. We are in Carlsbad at least twice a month filling approximately six 5 gallons and 5 half gallons (We also get water for family). The family that owns/runs the business are as nice as nice comes. Great service and product.

We found this water while living in California and we love it so much we drive down from Las Vegas to get 60 or 70 gallons every couple of months.I cant explain it, but its amazing the difference in the naturally alkaline water. So delicious Well worth our walk down with the cart to get 6 gallons of water. My sturdy Service dog helps me pull the water back home, once filled to the brim. You can wash out your bottles before you fill them for 10cents. Well worth it to know your bottles are clean before you fill with water. PH balanced water is so much better for you. Im Spoiled its the only water I love to drink. Only 90cents per gallon is well worth it. I always get my water here and I have no car, Its good exercise for me and my service dog...We Will always go out of our way to get this precious water.Water is life~*~

While Im a scientist and dont necessarily buy into the concept of the Alkalinity of water making a difference, this water does taste great. I wouldnt necessarily prefer this water for my kettle as it does contain minerals (in dissolved salt forms). Parking right next to the dispensers mean you dont have to carry the water containers very far.

I enjoy going to Carsbad to get alkaline water and window shop at all the independently own shops The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. You have the ability to walk on the boardwalk and hear the waves as they hit the rocks and enjoy seeing the beautiful blue ocean as far as your eyes can see If you like to surf, bike ride play volleyball and spend time on the beach this is a place you differently want to visit

The hype is real. Wonderful people who were very kind to a newbie, amazing water, very reasonably priced. Scenic location, beautiful architecture...and again, spring water thats famous for its healthful qualities. Self-fill and rinse stations are very easy and convenient.Very grateful to have discovered Carlsbad Spring Water...this is a product that will keep giving, both in nutrients and upper body strength (*lifting the 5 gallon jug is a great reminder not to ignore your bicep work out).

I almost exclusively drink Carlsbad Alkaline Water. My wife also bought one of their dispensers and it works very well.The only problem Ive ever had with the facility is that it can get pretty busy at times which makes parking frustrating, increasingly so lately. I try to fill up my 5 gallon bottles later in the evening to avoid this.

This is probably the worst water delivery company in San Diego County. They give you no schedule for delivery, they do not answer your phone calls, they do not schedule deliveries. Stay clear from these folks, they do not have the logistics capability to handle your orders.11-29-22 UpdateI had a call from Manuel at CAW. He described that we had some email confusion and he was correct. He did try and reach us for delivery scheduling. The delivery system is new for us, so Manuel walked us through the process. Water is great, but water dispensers dont take $ 20 bills and cards, also there is no asphalt near to dispensers. So you have two problems every time you go there: how to get $1,5,10 bills if most ATMs gives you $20 and you will need to vacuum your car after messy parking.

Also, there is a woman who works there, whos super helpful with change and machine issues, and she does a great job keeping the machines clean. The last time I was there, I noticed her helping an older gentleman by filling his water for him. Then, she put it in his car, and helped him into the passenger seat. Classy.

I always prefer to have my water from here. I do believe drinking clean water makes a difference in health. Especially since the tap water in San Diego is extremely toxic with the presence of chlorine, heavy metals, and antibiotics. They really need to update their water dispensing machines to accept debt/ credit cards along with digital payments. It’s a hassle trying to have the amount in cash/ change for payments especially when one is getting 5-8 refills of the five gallon containers. Also, you cannot use $20 bills on the machines. Not a complaint but more of an input.

Coming here every month for our drinking water supply is a must for our household. Price recently changed to $1/gal in 2021 but that’s still a great price for crisp, clean alkaline water.-the machines take only cash, and only bills less than $20 so that’s a bit of a learning curve to always remember that-the kiosk office that sells bottles and tings is open only during the day, but the fountains for filling up stay open at night. It’s easier and less crowded at the fill-up area at night, freeway/neighborhood traffic is way less too-if you’re a super nerd like me, bring a little wash cloth. some spouts overfill the bottles and get all wet and splashy. I like to wipe off all the bottles as I load them in the car-proceed to actually drink and enjoy all the water you know you’re supposed to. Be happy :) the end

I love this water! This naturally alkaline water comes from a deep aquifer below the location. You can fill bottles from 1 gallon to 5 gallons, and the prices are cheap ($0.80/ gallon). Be aware, there is frequently a wait and there is limited parking, so getting in and out may be a challenge. But the water tastes so good it is worth it!

I have tested this water 3 different with a PH Tester; 8.5 was the highest yet.The change machines Do Not give change unless prompted. The guy who works there told me the owners make over 6,000.00 a week, simply just not returning customers money.... that in itself is a huge dishonest business act!On the good side, the acid rinse for your bottles at 10 cents is a fair price. The acid at least disenfects your bottles.

Purchased a 5 gallon jug, water dispensing nozzle and metal counter top stand for $44. Purchasing 5 gallons from there is only $4. Significantly cheaper and less wasteful.

They have reduced available parking with product storage and delivery trucks and for the 3rd week in a row less than half of the water dispensers are operational. This should be enough of a review for you to know how good this water really is, but let me explain why it is worth it.You can do your own research on the benefits Alkaline water, but there is more to this water than just the pH level.● Its pure spring water, with the an amazing balance of minerals that tastes amazing and feels so good when you drink it. Its hard to explain, but the inside of your throat feels smooth.● No additives. The vast majority of Alkaline waters youll find are treated with chemical additives to increase the pH. This comes right out of the ground at around 8.7! If you care about your health, why on earth would you not choose naturally alkaline water?● We feel better. My wife and son have noticeably clearer skin than before they started on the water. On occasions where we ran out of water between fill ups, they start getting more acne flaring up. The other benefit weve all seen has been happy GI tracts. It sure seems to help keep everything moving well.● Great people. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to meet the owners, Ludvik and Veronica, ask them about the history of this well and its water. This water tastes better than any other water I have found commercially. I live in Orange County and to make the drive worthwhile, I usually purchase 20 gallons at a time. I wont comment on health benefits as I am not qualified to do that. I can only say that there must be something special about it as it is so palatable and as a result one drinks a lot more of it.My only issue is the self service machines and having to heft large 5 gallon glass bottles to the car. Having someone there to help and perhaps make the filling and loading practice go faster would help.

Fyi: I just learned something that might help others, too (tips from the owner)... so, if anyone else lately has noticed never-before seen green stuff/spots growing on their bottles walls, we need to make sure that every 2-4 mo., we clean your bottle with 1-2 cups of distilled vinegar mixed w/ ~1 gal. of water, and maybe even throw in a rag to smoosh it around in there so it touches the walls & gets the green stuff off. Afterwards, we need to rinse it several times with reg. water.I used to never do this, because originally their ozone rinse at their facility did such a great job sanitizing bottles and caps before you filled them up. There were never any visible deposits on my bottles walls, until recently :(Now I heard from the owner that their ozone is not as strong anymore, and we need to do more bottle cleaning at home.

Amazing place to grab Alkaline water by the gallon! Ive always had to purchase alkaline water from Fresh and Easy by the 32 oz. water bottles, and those can get pricey after a while. Compare to the 3-gallon jugs I get for about the same price, and the water sold here are a STEAL! After being a loyal delivery customer for over a year, our water delivery needs had changed. When the delivery driver made our recent delivery, I informed him that we only needed two five-gallon bottles. He told me that they have a three- bottle minimum or they have to charge me an additional $15.00. I said I only needed two bottles and he gave me a receipt for the two bottles. Within several minutes the manager called and said he was going to charge me the additional $15.00 there are no exceptions. I explained to him that I didn’t mind the additional fuel charges that they tack on to the bill every month unlike any other water service. However, as a matter of customer service I felt that the $15.00 was not reasonable and that I wanted them to deliver the extra bottle they were going to charge me for. The manager said he would not send his driver back, even though he was still in the area. I told him that I was puzzled by their lack of customer service/loyalty as there are many other options out there for similar products and services. He said there are no exceptions and I told him that as a matter of principle he would be losing a customer for life and he didn’t seem to care. As a business owner myself for over 30 years I was blown away by their callous attitude. I will be taking my business elsewhere and let the public know of my experience.Shortly after posting my review, I received a call from Jake Smith the general manager of Carlsbad Alkaline Drinking Water. He asked me for more details and my version of the events as to why I was dissatisfied with my experience. After hearing my side, he immediately apologized for any misunderstanding or inconvenience and offered me several options if I wanted to resume my service. If you grew up in north county San Diego then there’s no explanation to Carlsbad alkaline water hands-down the best. After it was featured on the Ellen show this place blew up. Their pricing went up a little more but it’s still worth it. No other better water compares to it they are even cheaper than Palomar market Mountain Spring water. Palomar is a good quality water though. Costco is selling their water now to you can also get it there and other local 7-Eleven’s and some liquor stores. Parking can be a little tight sometimes you’ll have to park down the road or sometimes at swami’s Café which is across the street after they close. They have plenty of water dispenser so it moves pretty quick. I believe the hours that someone works there is between 8 and 6 PM so they are there to give you change or any assistance for buying more water bottles and caps.

Seems like they are just selling out to make money. I thought selling at Sprouts and Costco was iffy. Then I saw major sell out when I saw their water at Wal-mart. This afternoon I was running some ph and other tests on our aquaponics system with our professional freshwater master test kit (droppers of test solution and vials for the water), and I decided to run a test on our tap water. The tap water was 7.6ph. Then I ran a test on the CARLSBAD WATER......I first tested it with the high range tester, because honestly I expected it to be at least 8.0. (they claim their water is 8.0-9.0ph.) The high range test I ran first tests a range of 7.4-8.8. I expected this test result to be purple in color, but to my surprise, it turned out yellow (which was lighter than 7.4, the lowest this test range went). This meant the ph reading was less than 7.4! Needless to say I was UPSET at this point.Then I ran the second test, the low range test, which tests ph between 6.0-7.6. THE CARLSBAD WATER TESTED AT 6.4ph which is more acidic than our tap water! Needless to say, we wont be driving all the way up to get Carlsbad water anymore! We are so disappointed that the Carlsbad water was not within the range that they advertise, but moreso that it was so acidic and we have been trying to get things more alkaline! I just wanted others to know.

The tall guy who sounds like a typical surfer beach guy employee helped me out, but when i responded with glad this place is the same, he just kept disagreeing with me for some reason for sure made me not fond of talking with him, like how can he say its not the same but its been the same water???

Poor customer service, ratty interior. Not clear this is one business. We were abruptly halted today by a water guy while trying to enter spa. Needed a gift certificate. He wanted us to wait for receptionist who was gone for unspecified time. Finally someone showed but was reluctant to describe what wed get for $150 or show us facility. No thanks.

To me going to get water there is something like the scenes you watch on TV about animals drinking in the African Savanna. People from all sorts come to get water quietly and regularly with an agreeable attitude.
