Fantastic people, incredible food, fabulous vibes! Finding authentic Italian food in LA seems to have been hard to find since moving from the east coast and growing up in an Italian household. Feels like home.

Pretty much randomly stopped by this place. But it was very fortunate, sincerely the food here is amazing. We ordered lobster ravioli, veggie risotto and seafood pasta. Lobster ravioli was the highlight of the feast, I mean everything else was extremely good as well, but ravioli was divine. Service was good, and the atmosphere was beautiful. There was live music in there and those guys were great. Their performance added to the flavor. Will definitely be coming back.

Thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food here. It was authentic and delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh. This is the best food option on Washington Square. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and attentive even though the restaurant was packed. Definitely will be coming back

Super chill place to just unwind and relax for the weekend. I had a window seat and really got to enjoy people watching in Venice!! As far as food goes, the lime spritz was nice and strong, and there was plenty of it. I also had the guazzetto di cozze, which was clams and mussels baked in a really nice sauce with some garlic bread. It was this appetizer style dish but super flavorful and delicious. Definitely recommend if you want a chill atmosphere and tasty food

This is the best Italian food I’ve had since the start of the pandemic. Especially strong dishes were the short rib pasta, the grilled octopus, and the carpaccio. Service was excellent and especially accommodating of our party that included three young kids, one with allergiesHigh recommend! This place is going to blow up.

Absolutely the best Italian food outside or even in Italy. The chef is a maestro. We have eaten at The Savoy and The Mandarin Oriental in London, Raffles in Singapore and many TV chefs restaurants, Casa 12 food is at least as good as the best of these establishments and better than a lot of them.The atmosphere is incredible with wonderful welcoming owners & staff. Even though we discovered this restaurant by pure luck we were treated like the most respected long lost members of the family! We went there two nights in a row because we had such a great time the first night. Unfortunately we cant go today because we are returning to England. Fantastic food, great wine and the warmest of welcomes - what more can you ask for?

The best Italian on the west side! Great rotation of specials so we are able to come back often and always get to switch it up and try new dishes. High quality ingredients at fair prices. They recently added amazing bread baked in house. Manuel the Owner is a super nice guy, part of the community, and always a welcoming smile.Overall highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

When Casa Ado closed at the beginning of covid, my husband and I cried. The reopening as Casa 12 has brought everything we loved back. Amazing food, staff (Manuel is the best) and atmosphere. 5 stars are not enough- 6!

I’m hesitant to even write this review because I don’t want the secret to get out but I feel like it’s already out. Casa 12 is fantastic. The owner is amazing and a gem of a human and so is the staff. The closest I have felt to a European dining experience since being in Europe. The wine is amazing, the spritz are fresh. The pasta is perfectly Al dente. A fabulous vibe and it’s walking distance from a beautiful sunset on the Venice Pier. Not pretentious in the slightest, just good food in a good atmosphere. Exactly what the neighborhood needed!

We had a lovely evening on Monday. Not only the service and the place was great but the food…. Just perfect!!! We order the Octopus as a starter and I think I never had one so well cooked and as tasty as this one (the bread was incredibly too). The lobster Ravioli with shrimp pink sauce was absolutely amazing too!! Risotto and the Salmon were the other incredible plate we order! To finish… the Lava Cake with ice cream was perfectly baked and tasty to end up a great evening. The owner (an Italian guy) was very kind and was around the place checking that everything was working properly and also checking on clients. I absolutely recommend this place!

My new favorite spot for Italian 😍 DOC wine and insane home made pasta. Very close from the Venice Beach pier I was out boogie boarding all day and came here for a nice glass of wine with Caprese and lobster ravioli 🥲😍 I’ll be back real soon

Food is just ok. Strange space for a restaurant- we were seated in the back area as the bar area is super loud - and ended up staring at the bathroom door all dinner. Rather unappetizing. Manager was nice though

This is a Venice Beach gem of a restaurant. Great Italian food with so many different delicious options to choose from. The wines are amazing and the service is excellent. The music and sound is a little bit loud but fun! Good times!

We found this beautiful and nice restaurant by chance, while walking around. We were very surprised by this authentic Italian cuisine and ambiance. The owner is Italian from Modena and knows exactly how to transport the Italian lifestyle and hospitality into the special environment of Venice Beach. The food was extraordinary delicious and the team very kind and peofessional. I can highly recommend this place!

The food was incredibly good and the restaurant is very stylish. The service is very attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant is very close to Venice Beach and there is a very good vibe but it is not uncomfortably noisy. Very good restaurant and really recommendable.
